Deputy Care Manager

PIC 24 Healthy Care is looking for a deputy Care Manager role holds an increased level of responsibility around the compliance and quality of the care service and overall business. A deputy Care Manager who is a great help to the Registered Manager in making sure everything is running smoothly. A Deputy Care Manager serves as both the advocate and coordinator for service users, managing all aspects of care from assessment and onboarding to continuous monitoring and administrative compliance. Through effective liaison with social workers, families, and care coordinators, A deputy Care Manager ensure that each client’s needs are met with precision and empathy.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reviews and supervisions with employees
  • Client Assessment & Onboarding
  • Carry out Care Giver and Client observations and quality checks
  • Conduct and complete care and support plan assessments
  • Support with phone enquiries in the office
  • On-Call Responsibilities
  • Handling complaints, recording and reviewing actions taken
  • Run staff training sessions and team meetings
  • Administrative Tasks
  • Monitor paperwork compliance for both Clients and Care Givers - mostly digital rather than in files these days
  • Support with regulatory inspections and evidencing high-quality care

Skills / Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience in a management role within the health care sector.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as an assistant manager (or equivalent )for a regulated activity in a domiciciiary care agency delivering a minimun of 3000 hours of care per week.

  • Confident and competent in using a
