What a wonderful morning at St Pip and St Jims for our March free chair based exercise class!
We had a fantastic turnout at St Pip and St Jims last week for our coffee morning and exercise class last week! It was heart warming to see so many familiar faces return, along with some lovely new visitors who joined us for the first time.
It was a delight to welcome back Joan from Hatherley, as well as our wonderful local residents Doris and Jean from Park Gate. Joan made her way to the church on her trusty ‘Big Bertha’. It was also great to see Tony and Barbara, along with Frank and Gail, all of whom are local to St Pip and St Jims. Mandy, a local social worker, who attended with Fay and Roger, also joined us.
The highlight of March’s free chair based exercise class was an engaging exercise session led by Jo Folkes. Jo is our expert physiotherapist. Jo ensured that everyone could participate at their own pace. This made it a fun and inclusive experience for all.
We also received some new visitors from Leckhampton Surgery, part of the Cheltenham Peripheral PCN. They discovered the event through social media – proof that our outreach efforts are working!
They were particularly interested in learning more about the GenieLite. GenieLite is an innovative robotic companion designed to support individuals in their older years.
At Caremark, our goal is simple: to empower our customers so they can maintain their independence for as long as possible. Thus ensuring that, in many cases, they won’t even need our care services!
Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event such a success. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
