Communication is, to say the least, "very slow" to
"non-responsive". Care plans are created, but not adhered
to. In many instances, tasks were ticked as completed, when in fact
those particular cares had not been done. They are dismissive and
defensive if any concerns are raised. There is little or no
integration of new carers, into the family - suddenly a new carer will
turn up, who has never been before, doesn't know where anything is in
the house, or what to do. You, therefore, spend your time assisting the
carer to do their tasks throughout the whole visit. There appears to be
very little teamwork, and the organisation just seems to be run very
haphazardly, which causes no end of confusion for the service user. We
would never recommend BlueBird Care, Bradford (North) to any of our
friends, family or colleagues, as we have been let down very badly on
more than one occasion with them. Bluebird care has been a very negative
experience, and one we would hope never to repeat.
