My experience with ' Helping Hands' is mostly good. The carers are well-presented, and usually on time and mostly efficient. There have been several occasions where I have had to phone the office to find out why my carer is delayed. Overall a good service.

Helping Hands have been supporting my sister who is 84 and suffers from Alzheimer's, for approximately three years. She lives alone, as independently as possible, just around the corner from me. She receives twice-daily support visits to ensure that she eats and drinks regularly and that medication is administered. Communication between myself and management/carers is excellent and I have found the organisation flexible and approachable since day one.

The standard and quality of care provided by Helping Hands is exemplary all round. The employees have turned out in any weather and conditions and cheerfully, being in a village location - narrow roads and lack of lighting - not easy for anybody. They have helped with transport and shopping when needs must. Because of the caring and sharing, we have felt more like a family unit than clients. They deserve treble income for their provision of care! We salute them all.
