After nearly a year of companionship for my husband I have found one staff member in particular to be perfect for my husbands needs as a carer, he helps my husband with, shopping, cooking, walking and gets him out. (my husband cannot do any of these independantly) He also asks if I need anything doing
or shopping etc. and make sure that my husband doesn't forget to pick it up when they are out. It's so good for my husband to have man to man company lots of jokes + laughter which helps my husbands moods. The member of staff is the perfect companion/carer for my husband, all my family agree too.

We have used Bluebird South Ham's to support my Mum both through daytime visits and eventually live in care. Communication with the management has been easy and quick, excellent support in both situations. Mums live in carer especially was excellent- calm, professional and proactive. Mum felt safe and
heard, through a very difficult period in all our lives.
I recommend Bluebird to anyone who may be in need.

Bluebird Care continues to provide a highly professional, sensitive and competent service that meets our 97 year old mother's complex and changing needs.
24/7 Carers are dedicated and cheerful in their demeanour as are our mother's Respite carers. They fulfill her medical needs regarding administering
prescription medication or assisting the physiotherapist or podiatrist or community nursing team when they visit. All carers work alongside eachother and other medical personnel for our mother's health and welfare constructively and cooperatively. They always place our mother's care needs first and respond sensitively to her wishes at all times striving to please her and ensure her comfort and dignity are maintained.
In addition, Bluebird carers do an excellent job keeping our mother's home clean, tidy and welcoming for her and for family and friends who visit. Visiting OTs and other professionals have remarked on how lucky our mother is to be receiving such a high standard of care in her own home.

Bluebird Care were fantastic. Always reliable, which Mum loved. Communication was always good and Mum was always impressed with the carers, who they always tried to keep as regular. The carers were kind, thoughtful and willing to help however they could. Thank you for the help in transition from home
care to nursing residential care.

We have a carer who comes in once a week to help with domestic chores, which in turn, helps me to have more time with my husband to go out daily for coffee. Small trips, sometimes lunch, to try to make the most of every day. Our carer is really good, friendly and very helpful. She also is good at chatting
to my husband, and having a good connection, and understanding him. We feel it will be really supportive for when my husbands dementia progresses.

Bluebird are excellent and very willing to do any extras like shopping etc. They are willing to go the extra mile and were excellent when I fell off the chair and came to pick me up and it was night time. They keep in touch and always let me know when a different carer is coming. I would definitely
recommend them to anyone looking for help at home.

Having had two close spells in Hospital, some six weeks in total, it was clear that I needed personal care help, my wife suffers from acute arthritis so she would also benefit from knowing that I was getting daily help.
The assessment visit was very comprehensive and my needs were clearly understood,
and my wife would also benefit from some home task help within the visit time. Our requirement of an 8ish am and around 19.30 pm visit time was possible. Something that other local care providers could not offer.
Initially I was unable to use a shower due to my lack of stability, that was not a problem as an assisted sink wash was managed.
As time progressed I was able to shower, with carer in attendance to help in the wash and drying process, giving me confidence.
Bluebird were very helpful in my wish to gradually reduce my Carer visit days as I became more able and confident and my final Carer visit date was 10 March 2025.

The team at BlueBird East Devon looked after my mum beautifully in her last months. Every function within the team (carers, office staff and managers) offered an exemplary service.
The team showed respect and compassion to my mum; respecting her wishes to be looked after in her home till the very
end would not have been possible without their outstanding care. At times of crisis, they stepped in and flexed care provision to ensure Mum was kept safe. In particular, her main carers were there to support me as well as my mum. Continuity of care was so vitally important to my mum and her regular carers became friends very quickly; this level of kindness is so important when patients are nearing end of life, particularly those who are so fiercely independent, like my mum. Also, the team in the office were fabulous - they were both so calm and compassionate in moments of crisis! I can't recommend BlueBird highly enough. They are the very best.

My mother used Bluebird for just over a year, with visiting care for an hour each morning to help with washing, dressing, and minor chores. She only stopped when she needed a live-in care service.
The care provided was absolutely excellent. Bluebird is one of the most expensive agencies, but the standard
of the care staff was faultless. She has made genuine friendships with the carers and was quite tearful about the idea of not seeing them again after moving to live-in care.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bluebird Exmouth for visiting care if you can afford them. The only niggle my mother had was communicating with the Bluebird office staff. When she was confused over appointment times, she would try to phone the office, but often the phone would go unanswered. Also, the emails giving her appointment times were from a "no reply" address. She would try to reply to them and was confused when they went unanswered. Those are the minor areas I think Bluebird could try to improve upon.

We used the domiciliary care service provided by Bluebird Care for my father-in-law. As his needs changed, they showed flexibility and the communication from the care team and management was truly excellent. Not living close to him, the daily notes were invaluable and the manager was always quick to
respond to emails and calls. The office team were always on hand and the out-of-hours service was helpful and efficient. The whole team cared about my father-in-law's welfare and it really showed in the overall care he received. I seriously can't fault them. We've recently had to move to full-time live-in care but of course, we have stayed with Bluebird Care.

We have changed Dad's care company to Bluebird Care and we made the best decision. His care needs have changed in a short space of time and his care package has been very well assessed.
He lives independently in a self-contained apartment.
All carers are lovely, friendly and experienced. The management
is always on hand and very adaptive with clients' needs, always on time, chat throughout the visits as well. The app is amazing, you can see the care visit and also rota for peace of mind.
Highly recommend Bluebird and thank you for looking after our dad so well.
We feel confident he has the best care when we need to go away.
