Bluebird Care were amazing and all their staff were such lovely, kind people, during a really difficult time for my family. My father had late onset dementia and needed support with everything which they provided in such a respectful way. After a chest infection he then passed away very suddenly. The
staff were so supportive, understanding and genuinely cared.

Bluebird care has some lovely carers. However please be aware that if the care user needs to go in to hospital Bluebird will charge you full price for every visit they would have done for a whole month (even though they are not actually doing any of these visits). I also found that the carers would
not always stay for the full time of the visit, sometimes much less than the half an hour. Communication could also be better between the office, the carers and the user. I really rated many of the carers who looked after my Dad, but I would not recommend Bluebird Care Epsom for the reasons I have outlined.

From our very first contact with Bluebird Care, we were impressed by their efficiency, empathy and professionalism. The carers themselves are lovely and provide a service to my husband which not only meets his physical but also emotional needs. They are warm and friendly and perform their tasks brilliantly
while always being prepared to go the extra mile. They are backed up by a service which I cannot fault. We are given a weekly schedule in advance and if any change becomes necessary, we are notified of this also well in advance. My husband has a core group of four carers so that even in the event of sickness or holiday, he will always know the carer coming to him. There are regular reviews of the service so if there were any problems they could be addressed and my daughters, who live a distance away, appreciate the fact that they can have access to the carers' notes online. I have found both the carers and management very supportive and the management very accessible.

My wife, who has Parkinson's Disease and I have been using the service of Bluebird Reigate since March 2024. The carers who have been sent to us have been in general been providing excellent services. The rostering services of the office staff in Reigate have been (sometimes very) disappointing. The
office schedulers and supervisors seem to be uninterested in updating the database properly. So the timing and scheduling of the visits have been erratic and the staff in the office seem to be unaware of the concept of client satisfaction. Simply put: they are blunt. Not aware of the software modules the Reigate Bluebird is using. The 'pass programme' seems to provide functionality for proper planning and minimizing travel time. But the schedule is week in week out chaotic. There is a lot of 'management by exception' to correct for inadequate inputs in and insufficient quality control of the output of in the database. A real time and chronic planning disaster!

Bluebird Care Elmbridge & Runnymede has provided carer visits four time per day for my bed-bound husband - personal care etc. for eight months since November 2023. Extremely efficient carers and visits always punctual. I was never let down since I used this service. Highly professional and lovely carers,
very kind, patient and sociable... efficient. My husband always looked forward to their visits and was sad to say goodbye. Highly recommended.

The help given is very much appreciated. The staff standards vary: one or two are excellent, others are good.
1) It would help to know in advance which staff member is scheduled as cleaning/ironing jobs etc. suite some staff better than others.
2) It would also be helpful to establish a regular time
for every visit so that we can establish a regular routine at our end. Realise this may not be possible due to emergencies etc.
Overall, the help given by Bluebird Care is helpful and appreciated.

Bluebird Care look after my godfather and they have been nothing but exceptional. It's so lovely knowing that he is looked after so well and reassuring for me. From initial meeting with office staff through to the carers who support him. I know he adores them all and feels supported.

We have engaged Bluebird Care to care for a good friend and they have been absolutely fantastic. The carers are delightful and very caring. However, special mention must be made of two staff members in particular. There have been many challenges to overcome and these staff members are always at the
end of the phone and always offer help and possible solutions. They have never let us down when we require help and advice. They are an absolute godsend and we couldn't manage without them. Thank you so much.
