Turned up on time and went through paperwork ok. Went through the interview ok, and if we had any problem we disgust it. Happy with her performance.

Overall decent service, Dad's main carers are good with him.
We have had running issues of medication being messed up, wrong day given & missed altogether. Recently an issue where a carer has missed medication & not signed for it but upon their return at a later date have signed the mar-chart to cover
themselves. Sometime the rota is wrong & a different carer turns up at a completely different time e.g. 2 hours early.
Also damage to our kitchen.

All the carers who visit my wife are superb. They are caring, careful, diligent and very professional,. They make her feel like a human being. It is the administrative support that lets Manorcourt down. Weekly schedules are not received on time, are never accurate and are constantly being changed. We
are not notified of any changes. 'Out of hours' was contacted last saturday and nobody called back. Flyers are sent out with glowing spelling mistakes.

Thank you for your review. It is always good to hear the good and bad. As your new Branch Manager I reassure you that these are key areas that are being handled with care to improve. Lovely to hear that our wonderful carers are "superb" with your wife, this feedback will mean a lot to them. Thank you again Danielle & Team

Since Manorcort Homecare became my carer in November 2024 I have been treated with dignity and respect following a stroke. This has enabled me to live independently in my own home
From the carers to the admin staff everyone listens to you and this means I have been able to choose when I get up and
when I go to bed. All carers ask " is there anything else I can do for you."
Fully recommend this Company.

This company does not even warrant one star! In one week, they failed to administer medication. 3 of those days, failed to meet clients call times, turn up for lunch calls at 2.30 in the afternoon. Lost key to home, left key safe unlocked and on opening code. Staff failed to read care plans, left client
without fall pendant and earring aids. No beds made or tidied and curtains left closed.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you found it necessary to take this action to make us aware of your concerns, but I wanted to let you know that we are fully investigating the issues you have raised and we will contact you with some answers as soon as possible. We are conscious that your care was transferred to our service from another provider only very recently and this may have adversely impacted on the continuity of your care.

Carers are struggling with PPE. So thin and cheap. Office staff don't listen to what you say or seem to care.
A carer broke my brand-new toilet.

Reply from Anne-Marie Brown, Registered Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Norwich)

All staff are supplied with PPE that are to government standards. We will call in relation to your toilet as this has not been brought to our attention. We are however pleased you scored the staff and your treatment so highly.

The staff are very kind and patient. When they do tasks e.g. helping my husband to eat a meal they do it at his pace and always treat him with respect. They talk to him and I am sure the daily chats are helping him to recover. We are both very grateful for the support they offer.

Stressful. Was supposed to take some pressure away but created work with numerous phone calls and emails. Arrival times were not consistent and not policed/flagged when they were out of service time. Standard hygiene basics were not done, for example, wiping the commode seat, so I was wiping traces
of faeces myself after they'd emptied the commode. Didn't always do as asked/paid to do so I ended up doing myself. Took months to get them to change the bed sheets - for some reason, this was too much for the staff to do once a week but we got there in the end after a complaint - however, there is no complaint procedure in place. The company needs better controls in place to ensure best practice is adhered to and complaints are taken seriously and followed up with details of what to do next if you are not happy - eg the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014: Regulation 16.
A disappointing 9 month's experience.
The staff were ok. One in particular was attentive.

Service has gone downhill. Three days a week it's good when we have regular carers. There are a few really good ones but unfortunately not many. We have had some recently drench the bedroom carpet with urine, then left without saying a word. Others have refused to change his pad saying not dirty enough.
Constantly late which causes him pain, discomfort and exhaustion. He now will not get up unless he knows that it's going to be one of the good ones coming. When I complain to the office I am told they will get back to me but they do not.

Reply from Anne-Marie Brown, Registered Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Norwich)

I'm sorry you have felt the need to leave a bad review. I understand it was addressed the incident in the bedroom and the care co reported her findings back to you. There has been vast roadworks in the area for the last 12 months which I agree have caused issues for the staff to get through. Hopefully, this will be rectified soon when they come to a close.

I would like to thank two members of staff who are coordinators in the office. Manorcourt Homecare is a very good company, I receive a weekly rota to let me know what carer is coming on my calls. Office phone me if carers are going to be late. I would like to thank the Field Supervisor for changing
my care plans and helping with medication issues. When I am feeling low I know I can pick up the phone and talk to staff. I am also pleased and a big thank you to a carer who has come back to work for Manorcourt Homecare who works very hard and cares for her clients. I would like to thank another carer for all the help and support you have given the organisation you have done in my home. You were a fantastic carer, who has left to become a trained nurse.

The carers were so dedicated and they always went above and beyond. They sent in a smaller group of carers due to my wife's dementia and they built a great relationship with us. Not only did they care for my wife but they also helped me by accommodating sitting visits to relieve me. The office staff
were phenomenal and they also went above and beyond. Great company and I highly recommend. Thanks.

Three carers are good we have found, all others are not, will not do what I've asked at all. When reported to the office, nothing is done, no change, and when reported damage to a new piece of furniture, they fobbed me off, either they don't have liability insurance or think that's acceptable. The only
reason we didn't change is dad is moving soon, thank God.

Reply from Anne-Marie Brown, Registered Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Norwich)

We are sorry you have felt that the care has not been adequate. I can assure you that the company does have insurance as stated in the service user guide and statement of purpose. As previously explained at assessment and after you called the office it was your responsibility to inform your insurance that you were receiving care. We wish Dad well when he moves.
