Without exception, all the Helping Hands have been professional, caring and reliable. My husband's final months were eased by the consistency of the care and friendliness of the carers. Timekeeping was excellent on the whole and the carers were also excellent to me, always a query as to how I was and
given a shoulder to cry on. Without Helping Hands it would have been impossible to care for him at home. I am forever grateful.

Thank you so much for your prompt and continued help in providing my father with support following a recent fall. The on call team and local branch manager responded promptly and swiftly in putting into place a plan to support him and also continue to arrange on going support in these recent weeks,
re arranging the same carer val and another carer to support. Thank you so much very appreciated.

The carers and office staff/management have been excellent and truly exceptional. The carers are all kind, gentle, communicative and really seem to care, can't fault them at all. All the communications with the office locally have been dealt with efficiently. My only concern is that out of hours doesn't
work well, technology could be used to better effect and I would happily give my phone details to carers so they could let me know about any delays, which rarely happen. My concerns before my husband came out of hospital have been unfounded.

Helping Hands are very approachable and the staff are so caring at all levels. Respectful, caring and incredibly supportive of clients aims and ambitions. We feel very lucky to have found them. They listen, are very helpful and hygiene is as paramount to them as us. All needs met with dignity to clients

From the moment I met one staff member in particular from Helping Hands, I felt safe leaving my mum in their care.
Mum has been very happy and settled in the carers hands. Before they started, she was adamant that she didn't want strangers in her house. She has changed her mind completely and is very
happy.
I have spoken to a couple of the ladies who help mum, also speaking to both two staff members in particular. Every one of them has been superb and lovely, caring people with mum's well being and happiness a priority.
I have recently had some issues with mum and one staff member in particular talked to mum about it all and helped her understand. Not easy with Alzheimer, but one staff member in particular went above and beyond to ease my worries.
I can't recommend the company and everyone I have dealt with highly enough. Thank you so much.

The last 4 days of care that my husband had with you were all friendly helpful and caring. They also helped me through a very difficult time. I had to increase the hours and it was done speedly and without any fuss.

Only a recent user of Helping Hands for my mum and so far we are very pleased with the choice of carers the company has provided. So far this was a good family choice and hopefully, it will continue. We would recommend their services.

I have nothing but praise for the care given to my mother over the last 9 months. My mother has Alzheimers and everyone at Helping Hands Dartford has been so supportive, which has been a massive help given that this is the first time we had arranged external care for my mother.
All the staff in the
office have always been there to discuss any issues that arise, I have always been informed immediately when any issues have arisen relating to my mothers care and all the carers have been so kind and caring with my mother. I would also like to make a special mention to my mothers main and regular carer, she has been brilliant with my mother and even highlighted issues that we were unaware of with my mothers health that we have been able to progress with the GP and arrange for ongoing treatment.
I cannot recommend Helping Hands Dartford highly enough and we would happily use them again if the situation arose.

My husband has been receiving day care from Helping Hands for several years. The carers have all been friendly and kind and able to deal with any situation.
Recently it was necessary for me to go away for a few days and Live In Care was provided by the Day Care team. This meant that the carers knew
my husband and his ways and they also knew our home. The two managers in the Tunbridge Wells office spent a lot of time talking to me and then devised the timetable for the carers. This had to be tweaked a few times during the week as my husband's needs changed. Thanks to the managers and the carers I was able to spend some much needed time with family. While I was away I was able to relax and not worry about my husband, the managers had told me that Helping Hands would cope and they certainly did. I now feel that I can look forward to having another break in a few months time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands.

Helping Hands visit my 90 year old mother six lunchtimes each week and have been doing so since September 2022. My widowed mother has vascular dementia and mobility problems, I put out a request on our local Facebook community page for recommendations for help and I received a couple of very good reviews
about Helping Hands. In the first instance someone from Helping Hands visited my mother and me to discuss her needs, which primarily involved preparing her main meal of the day. I purchase frozen microwave meals which needed to be heated up, as my mother was unable to follow the instructions. Every 6 months a safeguarding visit is made to ensure that my mother is happy with the service. All the staff are wonderful and my mother looks forward to their visit. The office staff are very professional and helpful and do a wonderful job in sorting out the rota each week and making modifications when emergency appointments arise. There is a website were you can read the carers comments about each visit.

I broke my left arm on September 30th 2023. It was in a sling for 6 weeks so I could not shower myself or dress myself.
Helping Hands came to my rescue and my carers were excellent.
The only problem was that they could only come at 7am - 7:30 on Sundays. I found it a long day but understand you are
short of carers.
I would recommend Helping Hands to anyone needing care.

The carers we currently have on a regular basis are very good. Some are excellent!
We are very sad to have lost some outstanding carers this year!
This year, I have trained many carers (new to the house). I have done the job for the carers, showering them/what needs to be done whilst paying for
the carer to be there! I am interested in your response to this, as I feel it's not very fair.

The initial interview meeting was very lengthy in terms of the number of questions asked and this could not have happened if I had not been present to support my mum who has dementia. Having said that I am aware of the need for the collection of this information. The manager attending was professional
and friendly. Mum's carer was bubbly, and friendly and established a good rapport with mum and cared for her very well indeed during my holiday break.

Hello, I am almost 84 years of age and am suffering from osteoarthritis in the knees and feet and more recently a fall involving a left shoulder dislocation plus fracture in April 2022. As I prefer to go out to do my shopping etc it was recommended that I make use of care facilities such as Helping
Hands Home Care (Folkestone) to cover a range of health matters. I was given two care slots during the week and when I asked for two more I was told care staff were not available so I ended up with two further visits from another organisation. Very many thanks to Helping Hands Home Care (Folkestone) for their support.

We have been using Helping Hands Home Care (Maidstone) for a number of years now and cannot praise them enough, the level of service and attention to detail is second to none. Our regular carer is really great and my wife, who has Dementia, looks forward to her weekly visits. Despite her condition,
they do have some laughs together, as I do with her as well. Our carer is always respectful and fully understanding of my wife's needs and has been a great help to us both. I would go as far as saying she now feels like one of the family and I would have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands to anyone who is considering a care organisation.

Helping Hands Home Care (Tunbridge Wells)

Absolutely excellent care and service. Extremely helpful and willing and very peaceful around the House. She is most adaptable and fits in with all that I am in need of and also very encouraging and cheerful and very pleasant to have around. She also knows when to disappear during visitors visiting
unless they are professional people dealing with the reason for her actually being at Woodland. She is very flexible when she takes her two hours off and fits in generally all around and sees things that need to be done without asking. She is chatty when the occasion arises and just very pleasant and a delight to have at Woodland. As I am improving hugely every day she has adapted so well to this situation.
I'm so glad that we were put in touch with Helping Hands through the Macmillan Service though subsequently discovered other friends had been helped enormously by your caring and supportive organisation from the organiser who visited me initially and carried out the introduction of the carer.

I was very pleased with the service we received. Our need for a carer happened suddenly and so the speed with which an assessment was arranged and then a carer put in place was very important and everything was arranged as promised. The carers we had were excellent and it was a great relief to us to
know that our dear mother was being cared for as well as possible.
All in all an excellent experience and I would recommend them.

I realised very quickly that Helping Hands were going to do just that. The managers were professional, thorough and understanding.
The staff were all absolutely exceptional, with no exceptions.
Overall the key themes were kindness and staff giving their all.
When my father died our carer was hugely
supportive as were the managers.
