At the initial meeting I was told that I would have 2-3 carers so I would get to know them. I see a lot more than that a lot of whom seem to be new so it makes it difficult to form a relationship.
Some of the carers (usually more experienced) go over and above to help, but some of the younger ones
don't appreciate the difficulties of Parkinson's Disease. Those that do understand are very good at knowing when I am "off" ad just get on with the tasks.

We have been expanding the team and training less experienced staff as we try to support more local people to stay at home and remain independent. The senior staff are already proficient in supporting our clients with Parkinson's disease. As a result of your input, we have now booked additional training for ALL staff which will take place over the next 3-4 weeks. Thank you for raising this, we always welcome feedback.

Always come on time, very nice staff. My husband is very happy with the staff that come and like the conversations they have. Grateful for the support that enables me to go out. Just would like the care in a morning to get him up as all the staff is very organised and my husband would be happy with
that. So that we can change over to Bridgewater Home Care for all his care.

The whole team were friendly, professional and always available. We felt immediately at ease from the moment we met the Bridgewater Home Care staff and really appreciated the way they stepped so seamlessly into the crisis position we felt we were in. The care provided gave my grandad some lovely weeks
at home before he died just as he wished and we loved the fact he thought he had a cook and was able to eat the food he loved the way he liked it. We enjoyed and were comforted by the diary of visits we were able to read and loved that Grandad was making friends with your team of carers who always seemed to have time to chat whilst keeping his home shipshape and attending to his personal and health needs.

The attention I receive from carers is excellent. If I need to contact the office staff they are very helpful and obliging. Any one of the carers goes beyond the call of duty and nothing you ask for is too much trouble.

Bridgewater Home Care has been supporting my mum for approximately eighteen months, we have found them to be a reliable care provider.
Being able to see the rota in advance is reassuring and gives us confidence in the service as you know who is going to call. They keep to a regular team of carers and
this has enabled good and trusted relationships to build. They will try to introduce someone new with a regular team member which is really good practice from Bridgewater.
Due to my mum's complex health needs, they are adaptable in how she is supported and will assess each day as it comes. Always showing dignity, respect and continue to promote her independence.
They offer a person-centered approach, the management team are always approachable and I feel that they listen and always act upon our discussions.
We will discuss changes in the rota on both sides if needed and work together to reach a compromise.
Please continue to be you Bridgewater Home Care (Wigan).

With the help of Bridgewater Home Care, in June I was able to go on my army reunion, it was really great to catch up with all of my old army friends. We met up in Morcombe and attended the army parade on the Saturday. On the Thursday, when we first met up, we all watched the England game and we all
had a good laugh. The hotel we stayed at gave us all a discount as we use the same hotel every year. Without the help of Bridgewater Home Care and the carers looking after my wife 24/7, this trip would never have happened. It is always nice to have a break and a rest from caring, without my carers I would struggle to see my friend's once a year.

From day one we have been absolutely delighted with the service provided by the carers and staff at Bridgewater. The ladies who come to look after my father are all so kind and genuinely care for him, nothing is too much trouble. They are very patient and always treat him with the utmost dignity. We

Bridgewater Home Care have taken the very best care of my mum (and my dad before her) for over six years. They helped Mum live independently in her own home with kindness and the utmost caring professionalism. Bridgewater always put my mum's needs at the forefront of everything. Their support, kindness
and knowledge of what mum needed and wanted was exemplary. Each and every carer was her friend. The office staff were always amazingly responsive, calm and efficient. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I used Bridgewater Home Care for two nights per week for approximately eighteen months. They cared for my dad during the night, changing incontinence pads, applying creams prescribed from chemist and ensuring he was comfortable and settled in bed. Carers were always on time and always keen to know how
Dad had been. Staff were very professional at all times. Gave good handovers regarding Dad's condition and providing any medical advice I could discuss with GP. Staff treated Dad with respect and care. I always felt Dad was in safe hands.

I have been with Bridgewater for many years, on and off. I can ring at short notice, and the office staff are always welcoming and send the carers who are polite, friendly and good at their jobs.
Overall, this is the best care agency I have ever used, and I have used it a lot.

All staff are on time and extremely respectful. I know in advance who is coming and at what time. The office staff will ring me if there's any changes to the published schedule - I find this very useful and helpful to Mum. I can recommend Bridgewater for all care for clients with dementia.

I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care provided by Bridgewater Home Care. They have been providing companion care for my mother-in-law, who is living with dementia, for several months now and we are incredibly grateful for their support. They always go above and beyond, ensuring that
Mum receives the very best care possible. One staff member, in particular, has become like a best friend to my mother-in-law. Her kindness, compassion, and expertise have been invaluable in helping Mum to feel comfortable and safe. What sets Bridgewater Home Care apart is their commitment to truly getting to know its clients and their families. They take the time to understand individual needs and preferences and tailor their care accordingly.
