Overall Experience

I had several weeks of the most amazing care from Good Oaks following complete knee replacement surgery in January 2025. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The 3 carers I had on a regular basis were unbelievably kind, professional, gentle, and experienced in post-operation care. Their hygiene, attention

to my needs, and initiative in seeing and doing domestic chores without being asked was amazing. Each carer had qualifications above and beyond my requirements. Those whose first language was not English spoke perfect English and were clear and concise and understood all my requirements.
The company is flexible in providing the best care required for individual needs and a pre-assessment of my home and facilities was undertaken at the managerial level by charming yet professional staff. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the company for the care of loved ones - indeed loved ones could not have done better.

Overall Experience

I cannot speak highly enough of the whole team at Woodford Green GoodOaks. The management team are experienced and very understanding of the needs of clients makes a thorough assessment visit in advance of provision, accompanies carers on a first visit to make sure everything is as it should be and

responds very promptly to email correspondence. They are very flexible in the provision. The company's vision statement says they aim to provide the care they would like their own parents to have and they certainly meet that objective.
My carer team are absolutely delightful; well-trained, hard-working, efficient and friendly. They take the initiative in seeing what needs to be done as well as following the contract. Nothing is too much trouble. I would certainly trust them with any relative of mine. Anyone who gets either member of my care team is very fortunate. Extremely highly recommended.

My three daughters and I used this service when my husband was dying. From the moment we had this support, it was as if a weight had been lifted. The care team dealt with us in every way. Giving immense support and sympathetic treatment to my husband.

Overall Experience

I am very grateful for the amazing care and support my father received from GoodOaks Home Care. It was incredibly reassuring to know he was looked after by such kind and compassionate carers who genuinely cared about his well-being. One of the standout aspects of this service was the personal involvement

of the director, who checked in with both me and my father at least every two weeks to ensure everything was going well. It was comforting to know that, in the event of a cancellation, the director stepped in personally to fill in the gap of need. We had moved from a different provider and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to have GoodOaks looking after our dad. Knowing he was in such capable and competent hands truly brought peace of mind to the whole of our family. Thank you very much for all your care and compassion during these very trying months with our dad.

Overall Experience

The care workers had a difficult start with my friend, who was really against having a care team in place. However, the care and patience that they have shown have won her over completely and she looks forward to seeing the team each day. The team are all so respectful of her wishes and the management

of the complicated drug regime along with her personal care has given us such peace of mind. The manager is very hands-on and makes sure that the family are well informed and that the standard of care from her staff is maintained to the highest standard. I was recommended to this agency by a very discerning friend. My experience with them has been exemplary.

Overall Experience

GoodOaks looked after my mum for two years from June 22 to June 24 when she died.
We experienced both weekly interim care and night care services during this time.
The team of GoodOaks could not be more caring and my mum enjoyed each of them who came regularly and looked forward to them coming.

Not just for caring but for chat and companionship too.
The manager of the business is passionate about her business and the quality of the care she and her team offer. Always available for contact and supporting her team while being hands-on herself. A remarkable and compassionate leader.
GoodOaks were always reliable and compassionate and I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

We were so lucky to have the best carers.
Whenever there was a problem, or I was concerned, the main carer would visit immediately with kindness and care.
I was always reassured and my mum was supported and cared for three difficult last years of her life, with dementia. There were difficult times

but together we navigated with love and support, vitality and good humour. My mum always had three main carers creating a memorable connection.
Sharing stories and challenging them with her strength of character and determination.
They will always be a friendly part of my life.

I recently had the pleasure of working with a personal care provider, GoodOaks, who has been assisting my elderly mother over the past 18 months. Their services have been exemplary, showcasing professionalism, empathy, and a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for my mother.
From the outset,

the manager and the team demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills, quickly establishing a rapport with my mother, who was initially resistant to accepting help.
GoodOaks's reliability and flexibility have been outstanding. They have consistently been punctual and shown great adaptability in accommodating any schedule changes or emergencies.

Overall Experience

I was tasked by my siblings to seek out a good local care provider who could support my mother at home with daily tasks, 7 days per week. I came across GoodOaks Wimbledon who came across super friendly and informative but more importantly, went above and beyond my expectations. The carers not only manage

the daily tasks but also manage my mother’s medication which undergoes regular changes. The management team and the carers cannot do enough for us and any requests are warmly received and quickly implemented. As a family, we are so grateful to the GoodOaks team and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone seeking help at home.

We have had exceptional support from this service. The director gave her wonderful personal care to my mother until under a year ago when she needed live-in care. We have had a good experience of the live-in care and the management and communication have been exceptional. I have a short meeting each

week with the director which proves to be beneficial for us all.

Working with GoodOaks Wimbledon has been an absolute pleasure, I felt immediately looked after and assured from the first call through to the first visit. My mother-in-law received personal care from GoodOaks during January and February 2024. We found the care provided to be excellent. My mother-in-law had broken her hip and needed to be assessed while in rehabilitation. The assessment was timely and thorough and accurately predicted her needs. The carers

were caring, kind, professional and reliable at all times, The communication between the carers, GoodOaks management and my husband and myself was excellent. We were kept up to date of any new developments in a timely fashion. Impressively when new health issues arose the carers took the initiative including contacting the GP and district nurse when needed. When we needed more care this was provided very quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending GoodOaks. The high level of care delivered by the carers reflects excellent training and management.

Overall Experience

My husband has received personal care from GoodOaks for three months now. We see a small team of four or five carers who between them cover the various duties twice a day. They are all well-trained and professional. They treat my husband with respect and communicate with him in a friendly and warm manner.

I find them very helpful. We have had dealings with carers before and we have found that the GoodOaks carers have been the best. We put it down to good training and efficient communication between the staff and management.

My wife has been receiving personal care from Goodoaks for the past nine months. The support during this time has been totally reliable and of a very high standard. The support required was agreed upon and carefully documented initially and reviewed throughout the time as needs changed. The carers have

all worked with competence, understanding, respect and good humour. My wife has benefitted significantly from their personal care and other support.

Communication with the management has been excellent; they have kept in close touch and I have always been able to contact them when necessary. The company policy regarding training and monitoring of the carers is effective. Communication between carers through notes recorded at each visit is good and has ensured well-informed continuity of care. Carers always arrive fully briefed on current issues or progress. Overall our experience with Goodoaks has been very positive.

GoodOaks Homecare started providing waking night care for my elderly mother in September 2023; since then they have continued to do so, and will for the foreseeable future. From the outset they were friendly, informative, accessible, responsive, knowledgeable about my mother's condition, and gave me

some very helpful advice. Setting up the service and making arrangements for payment was also much more straightforward than many other care services I have used. Their carers have proved efficient, reliable, have liaised well with the day carers, and above all they are kind and reassuring to my mother. I also appreciate the fact that I can have regular updates and reviews from the managers. Being responsible for an elderly relative brings all sorts of stresses. By providing such an excellent service, GoodOaks is helping not only my mother, but her live-in carer, myself, and the rest of the family.

Overall Experience

On discharge from hospital, I was told by Social Services that I had to provide my own care package and that they would not help me in this project even though I had no previous experience. I looked online for providers and GoodOaks with their pricing and sensible time slots, seemed worth further investigation.

From the outset they were extremely helpful and flexible. With their guidance I was able to set up a programme of visits that met our needs and it could be changed as my health improved. The staff are knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and willing to assist in any way that they could. This also helped ease the stress that my wife was under following my long illness. I highly recommend GoodOaks.
