At all levels, Home Care Preferred has been excellent with both my parents. The staff are caring, reliable and calm, using their initiative when they need to. Efficient, caring and well-trained carers through the agency. The Manger
was always a brilliant support through thick and thin of things and such a good manager and organiser. Always on the end of a phone, as was Care Manager and the carers are all fully briefed and trained

I had homecare for two weeks following a hip replacement as I live alone. The care and attention from Home Care Preferred was excellent. The Manager helped me organise aids for my return home, organised my return from hospital and helped me to settle in.
The carer they provided was very friendly and
helpful, and I couldn't have managed without her. She was living in.
I would add that in 2019/2020 we had live in carers from Home Care Preferred to care for my husband who was suffering from Vascular Dementia. The care they provided was again excellent. The carers provided were mainly very good, and on the odd occasion when things weren't working out with a carer the managers immediately responded, and when necessary replaced the carer.
We had some delightful people, and of course inevitably the odd person who didn't fit in, but as I said, the managers responded immediately to make things right.
I have found the managers a delight to know and can highly recommend them as a company.

Overall, my experience has been favourable. The service has been friendly and willing to assist on any occasion. No complaints. I have not been neglected and visits have been on time, even when last minute changes have to be made.

Really happy with the carers and the care I receive from this agency. Although due to circumstances that may be out of their control each and every carer sent are so lovely and respectful. I am quite a young care user who has poor mobility, so it is as important I have a good relationship with carers
as I do with the physical elements of the care I receive. Great agency I fully recommend.

Generaly all the carers are cheerful, competent hard working women. I do have an ongoing problem. Apart from old age and MS, I have age-related macular degeneration. I now have a certificate for low vision. This means that everything, particular in the kitchen, has to be put back in the same place or
I cannot find it. Also the fridge should be checked for food that has gone off. Also some carers don't do the full hour and there are always jobs to do. There are four carers which I have asked for, which fill my needs and I would be very satisfied to have any of them regularly.

We have had care from Home Care since May 2024.
All the carers we have had have been very good. They are all very pleasant and friendly and take the trouble to chat with my husband and put him at ease. They are all very professional, we could not wish for better. We have had care from this company
before and did not hesitate to contact them when we needed help again.

Fabulous staff who were both empathetic and caring. Prepared to go the extra mile and meet our ever-changing situation. Big thanks to two carers in particular. We could not have asked for anything more from Home Care Preferred. They were outstanding in their support and care for my friend. They went out of their way no matter what time of day or night to help with any routine or crisis matters. They dealt with the health service, gave me advice, were very
easy to communicate with and proactive where they needed decisions or further involvement with us. We felt known by them. Their administrative systems worked excellently.

Home Care Preferred have some of the most knowledgeable, skilled and kind carers in the business. The care they provide is second to none and we can rest easy knowing our mum is looked after by the best. Communication with the office is good and rotas are given on time so you are able to plan ahead
and anticipate any difficulties. Excellent service from an excellent agency.

I used Home Care Preferred several days a week for support before and after hospital admission for serious abdominal surgery last year. I continue to use them one day a week for ongoing help with household tasks such as laundry, cooking etc. I have found all the carers competent, helpful, cheerful and
generally very willing to carry out miscellaneous tasks. Management are very approachable and respond quickly to texts and emails. They are very flexible if I need to change visit days or times.

Homecare Preferred have been an amazing service provider. All the staff, both carers and management, are extremely helpful and lovely. My 101-year-old mother has been treated in such a respectful way and I as her daughter have received a tremendous amount of practical/emotional support. Without them,
Mum would have had to go into residential care long ago, so they have enabled us to keep Mum at home, respecting her wishes/dignity as an older person.

The family has used Home Care Preferred for many years, first with hourly carers and now with a live-in carer. Very impressed with the Home Care Preferred team. Have previously used another highly rated provider but this team are a level up. They would regularly go above and beyond my expectations, e.g. additional unplanned visits which were not charged for, frequent communication from managers and supervisors,
arranging changes in medication with GP and collecting from pharmacy, to name just a few. I can highly recommend and would definitely use again if circumstance dictates.

I thoroughly recommend Home Care Preferred. They have relieved me of much of the stress and hard work of looking after my aunt. They help manage doctor's appointments, and medication and have even looked after the dog. They are friendly, reliable and professional. They also completely understand the
psychological and emotional aspects of looking after an independent-minded person who finds it hard to come to terms with needing increasing care.
