Visiting Angels go out of their way to look after aunt. My aunt was resistant to having carers in her home, initially, but now she really appreciates the team; thanks to their kindness and compassion they have won my aunt over! The team of carers, including the supervisor, are excellent communicators.

Yesterday my aunt had forgotten her hair appointment and gone out to do some errands. The carer waited for over an hour and her persistance paid out! My aunt returned and they had enough time to get to the hairdressers. Throughout, Visiting Angels and I were in touch. The assessment was thorough, the service is flexible and the client is at the heart of their service.

From the outset we have been very impressed with the manager and her team and the care provided for our Aunt. Selecting an appropriate care provider is never easy and we immediately felt at ease due to the reassurance provided, the expertise and the ease of communication. Being remote from where our

Aunt lives both the responsiveness and openness in communication has been vital. We also like that with Visiting Angels South East it feels like a more personable level of service, rather than when dealing with a larger organisation. When queries have arisen the two/ three way communication between my aunt, ourselves and Visiting Angels has ensured they are quickly resolved. Visiting Angels have provided a very flexible service allowing us to increase the level of care, as my Aunt's needs have changed. We have been very impressed so far and would definitely recommend.

The service I have received as been excellent. I was struggling before and having difficulty due to my mobility. Since having the help from the carer. I no longer feel stressed when I'm unable to get certain task done.

Overall Experience

My mum is 84 and has had Alzheimer's for the last 3 years. She lived alone most of the time and although she is ok to be at home alone she likes to go out and has lost her confidence in that. We engaged the services of Visiting Angels over a year ago and they have been great. Mum Mum now regularly attends

a weekly exercise class and Memory club and Visiting Angels provide a chaperone service. All of the carers are lovely and my Mum enjoys chatting to them on the journeys as well as at the classes she goes to. It has also been useful if Mum has had any medical appointments that I cannot attend with her. We are very pleased with the overall service.

Overall Experience

Our Visiting Angel (VA) comes to take my mother out for a couple of hours on a regular basis. This gives us full time carers at home some respite and it is a wonderful opportunity for mum to socialise. Mum gets on really well with our VA he is punctual, friendly, good fun, unfailingly considerate and

kindhearted. He is always thinking of different places to take Mum and she feels safe and cared for at all times. The overall service has been impressive and we know we can rely on Visiting Angels which is extremely reassuring. I would like to add the communication with the team has been excellent.

Just wanted to leave a review for the compassionate, loving and dedicated carers team at Visiting Angels namely, one staff member in particular being the main carer and 2 other staff members.
Our dad was a 94 year old dementia patient and sadly, recently passed away.
We as a family, wanted to Thank

them all for the great love, care and understanding they showed our dad whilst caring for him.
The main carer for dad, had a wonderful, compassionate personality and a lot of passion and dedication for his job. He always arrived with a big smile and a hearty laughter.
They were all, always very respectful, calm and patient with a lot of empathy and understanding and being a dementia patient, this would put dad at ease straight away. The qualities required to be excellent carers came through naturally in the team and we couldn't have asked for more caring, compassionate and loving people to be caring for our dad. It has all been very much appreciated by the family!!

We have been clients for over six months; our care package has increased over the duration from a few hours a couple of times a week increasing to now almost every day; their quick response and smooth transition have made these changes feel seamless. As a company, they are very flexible, and all of

their carers are so kind and compassionate. The speed of their responses to any issues or queries is always excellent, as is their total overall service. A recent event that shows how they stand out exceptionally was when my wife and I were abroad and my father-in-law had to go to hospital by ambulance, with his other daughter his chaperone; as is currently with the NHS, he was triaged and a brain scan booked that night, but they would have to spend 5 hours waiting in the back of the ambulance. Upon hearing of this emergency, a member of Visiting Angels who quite by chance was in their vicinity found them and sorted them food, hot drinks, and warm blankets. So above and beyond the cause. Thank you.

Our 'Angel' always turns up promptly and is unfailingly friendly and courteous but also deferential. He complies with any requests we have, carries our luggage to the door and is very helpful and good company. We look forward to his visits each Wednesday. My husband is not easy to please but Visiting

As a close friend of someone receiving care from Visiting Angels South East London, I can honestly say that their service has been life-changing. My friend is treated as a true individual, with his wishes always respected and taken into account. The carers go above and beyond, regularly dropping him

off at my house so he can join our bridge games and then bringing him back home afterwards. It has never been so easy to coordinate, and it means the world to us.
His family and friends were extremely worried about him before, but now we're simply amazed by the level of care Visiting Angels provides. The attention to detail and dedication they show are truly outstanding. It feels like nothing is ever too much for them - they anticipate his needs and go above and beyond to ensure he's comfortable and happy. We never imagined it could be this effortless to keep him connected with his friends and engaged in the activities he loves.
