Review of

Assisted Lives Bradford

from J W (Wife of Client) published on 2 June 2023
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5

I have been with Assisted Lives for a number of years and yes there have been ups and downs. More ups than downs. The manager is understanding and patient and very empathic. Most of his staff are the same.
Circumstances in my husband's care mean leaving the company, but I do want to thank them for
all they have done, I could never have gotten to this point without them.

Review of

Assisted Lives Bradford

from Alex K (Power of Attorney of Client) published on 21 October 2021
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 1.0 out of 5

This firm was appointed by Social Services to visit 3 times a day for 30 minutes.
On too many occasions the carers attended for a lot less than this - the fastest being 1 minute 40 seconds.
The carers would nip in at unregular times and mix up a shake, then leave without using any initiative to
use the rest of the time they were contracted for to do chores eg - floors would be unclean, bins overflowing, decaying food in the kitchen. Even when asked politely to do these things they weren’t done.
The client was charged for 90 minutes to do his shopping and they would fill his fridge with cheap ready meals which were left to go out of date. The shopping was not tailored to his needs - rather whatever was convenient - by week 4 he had four jars of coffee. The 'carers' clearly weren’t making this service person-centred, it was more based on their convenience.
Most of the carers failed to wear a lanyard with ID.
Extremely poor and fraudulent. Reported to police.
