ENA provided the utmost care you could ask for. Never late or no show, as is the case with some providers. It was a revelation to receive such care after one or two bad experiences I had previously.
I can only thoroughly recommend ENA.

My mum has dementia. ENA looked after her for about six months before she went to a specialist dementia care home.
All the carers were exceedingly kind, sensible, and thoughtful. The care manager, who oversaw my mum's care was exceptionally good. She supported the carers through some challenging behavior
from my mum and always kept me fully informed. She took the time to listen to me at some length on many occasions and was always willing to implement my instructions.
I am very happy to recommend ENA to anyone whose relative requires live-in care.

I manage some of the administration associated with the care for my severely disabled son, who lives independently with the aid of live-in carers. We have used ENA Care Group for over six years now. There have been ups and downs with the quality of carers provided, but in the main my wife and I, and
more importantly our son, have been happy with the care that he receives. In our experience, the care managers/coordinators are key to success and in this respect ENA have been very good. When unforeseen issues arise, as they inevitably will, these have been dealt with quickly and professionally. The documenting of the care to be provided is good and the staff seem well trained.

Reply from Matthew Blanche, Care Manager at ENA Care Group Ltd

Thank you for sharing your experience with ENA Care Group. We appreciate your honest feedback, and we are pleased to hear that, overall, you and your son have been happy with the care provided by our Live-in Carers. We agree that our Care Managers play a vital role in ensuring the success of our packages of care, and we are proud of our team's ability to handle unforeseen issues promptly and effectively.

At ENA Care Group, we maintain a strong focus on providing our carers with thorough and bespoke in-person training to ensure that they are well-equipped to provide the highest quality of person-centred care to our clients. We are pleased that you have found our Carers to be appropriately skilled and knowledgeable in providing your Son's care.

Thank you again for your feedback and for your continued trust in ENA Care Group. We hope to continue supporting your family for many years to come.

The care manager came to meet with my mum and me to discuss her care needs. The most important thing for me was kindness and consistency as she has Alzheimer’s Dementia. He discussed thoroughly what our needs were. He returned and introduced us to our new carer. She had recently completed her training
and was keen to start work. It is hard to put into words just how amazing she has been. Mum was very reluctant to leave her flat which was hard for the family to see. The carer now has her going to church again, dementia smile club, to various coffee mornings and eating out again. When she takes her holiday ENA always ensures a smooth handover. I cannot recommend this company enough, especially our carer who has become part of our family, sharing and enjoying family days whilst caring for Mum.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with ENA. We are thrilled to hear that our care manager took the time to discuss thoroughly your mother's care needs and that our carer has exceeded your expectations in providing her with the kindness and consistency she requires. We're delighted to hear that your mother is now enjoying a range of activities and outings, which is testament to the dedication and hard work of our carer. We really appreciate your recommendation and are pleased to have been able to provide such a positive experience for you and your family.

I have used ENA as a care provider for over 10 years, initially to provide care for my elderly, disabled brother and, since his death 2 years ago, to provide care for me. Over that time I have met many carers. Most, particularly those from Eastern Europe, have been excellent and many have become friends.
Some, however, have not been satisfactory and recently those doing short-term placements when the usual carer was on holiday, though they have done their best, have really not been up to the job. Had they been on a long-term placement I would have asked ENA to send someone more competent.

When I first started using ENA I was impressed by the management, particularly the fact that someone visited regularly and checked that both the carer and the client were happy. Problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Recently however I have had minimal contact with management and I think only 2 brief visits in 2½ years.

Reply from Matthew Blanche, New Client Care Manager at ENA Care Group Ltd

Thank you for taking the time to detail your experience with ENA.

I am pleased to hear that your long-term Carer is a great fit but am disappointed to hear that some have not met your expectations. While we take great effort with every placement, we rely on Client feedback to learn where we have gone wrong. I see you mentioned that you didn't want to ask for a different Carer as it was only short-term, but I would implore you to always contact us if you're not happy to give us an opportunity to fix the situation and ensure steps are taken to prevent reoccurrence.

I am also sorry to hear that you haven't been visited as much as you would have liked. I have checked your records and can see that you have been visited 7 times in the past 2.5 years, including a visit yesterday. We are always here if you need us, and I will ensure that your Care Manager has a conversation with you so we can define your expectations around home visits, as we can always facilitate more.

I have been a client of ENA Care Group Ltd since 24/11/2022. I interviewed a number of agencies and settled upon ENA due to what I perceived to be a person-centred approach. Their office staff are extremely attentive and efficient. The first carer they allocated to me was/is of the highest quality and
have now become a regular part of my care package. The relief carer they sent me whilst my regular person was on annual leave was terrible, however, due to me having live-in care for over a decade I am fully aware that agencies can not control the conduct of a staff member whilst out in the field. I reported my concerns to my coordinator and the relief member of staff was completely barred from returning to work on my package. ENA are extremely client focused and enable me to live my life in the way I wish to live it. This includes but is not limited to; enabling me to carry out my volunteer work, attend social events and live my life to the full. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone.

We are grateful for your positive comments regarding our client-centric approach, responsive management, and the exceptional care delivered by your dedicated carer. It is rewarding to know that our customer-focused approach empowers you to live on your terms, and we look forward to continuing to support you.

My mother required live-in care from August 2021. It didn't work out with the first carer that came to live in, however, ENA listened to feedback and we discussed my mother's requirements further. The second carer that came to look after Mum was far more suitable and remained in position caring for
my mother up until her death in January 2022. Overall, my sister and I were really pleased with the communication between ENA and ourselves.

My Mum has needed live-in care since October 2015 and over this time she has had the experience of over 20 different carers looking after her. We have had an association with ENA since October 2016. The care provided has varied greatly ranging from excellent care to extremely poor care. The care provided
currently is excellent. I have had to report issues to the care managers on numerous occasions but I must say that they have dealt with the issues immediately and have gone above and beyond to get the concerns and issues resolved as soon as possible. Since August 2020, we have received a very high level of service from the Care Team which has been very reassuring. The Team are always very professional, caring, and polite. The ENA Covid procedures and policy in place appear to offer good protection for their clients. I am delighted to say that the current care is excellent (provided by a very lovely lady). It gives me so much reassurance and it is nothing more than my Mum deserves.

Throughout his care from ENA, we have enjoyed friendly expertise from both management and staff. Everyone is very professional, caring and pleasant. ENA supplies live-in care to me. We agreed fairer pay for carers (extra 50 hr p/w). Late 2020 found out ENA keep extra for themselves. Told two contradicting reasons and refused a refund. ENA told me to stop directing my care, accept care given as carers have worked with disabled before (we're all the
same it seems), so don't need my interference. ENA said carers are not just carers, they're like family and should be treated so (until it comes to wages). Recent carers - work-shy and inexperienced. Only want to do housework and assist people (my opinion). Moaned about my stretching, so ENA stopped it as it was too much hard work. Sent email detailing the effect of physical work on the human body (patronising and insulting) to me, a paralysed person. Last phone call with the case manager, said ENA lacked carers and was unable to provide carers for two clients. Later received an email from ENA warning about the lack of carers. ENA - if I'm lying then sue me and I'll remove this review (in the unlikely chance you win).

Reply from Mitch Miller, Managing Director at ENA Care Group Ltd

I am very sorry to hear of your experience, Marc. We take any negative feedback about our services very seriously indeed, as we constantly strive to achieve excellence in everything we do and have already dealt with your complaint formally. Our commitment to high-quality care standards has been recognized in the number of awards we have won in the last year, so your comments are a real surprise and disappointment to us.
That said, I would like to take the opportunity to address a couple of points you have made specifically about our team. All the carers working at ENA have undergone a rigorous recruitment and selection process. Our carers are entitled to work in a safe manner without completing manual handling tasks which are not agreed upon in the care plan and cause injury to them or impact their welfare. We have a duty of care to ensure they are able to perform their duties and deliver care to the best of their ability.
Once again, thank you for your feedback.

Brilliant staff, I can't recommend this company more. A complete headache getting my dad home from hospital. For the first few weeks was ringing the team constantly but had good support, clearly knowledgeable. Things have settled now and although dad hasn't liked the idea of it, he is doing well. Much
better than in a home. The carers have been great and very patient. Thank you.

I have used this company for 3 years so far and am happy with the carers I get through them. I have had ups and downs with different carers but my care co-ordinator clearly tries their best to accommodate my requests. Their carers sometimes have worked with other clients and sometimes haven't but I
have found in comparison to the previous company I used, the carers I now get have much better training and I feel more supported at home.
Of all the companies I have used so far, I would recommend ENA.

I have used this company on three occasions for live in care provision. The first two were fine, however, on the third occasion, I was provided with a substandard carer. I made a formal complaint to ENA, however, they considered that the care provider was fine.

Reply from Mitch Miller, Operations Manager at ENA Care Group Ltd

Thank you for taking the time to review our service.

I am sorry you felt the care was substandard on the third occasion. This was investigated and found no issue with the care delivery you had received as outlined to you in the complaint response.

We ask all our clients to inform us immediately without delay, if they are dissatisfied with any part of our service so we can resolve any issues. On this occasion it was not brought to our attention immediately and when the complaint was highlighted, the carer was changed within 24hours and supported with a returning carer to achieve continuity.

I pursued certifications in Home Based Care, enabling me to offer compassionate, personalised care. I later earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Zimbabwe Open University in 2020. I have also worked with various organisations, including the UK-based CheckUp Health Clinic, assisting a diverse range of clients, from children with cerebral palsy to elderly individuals with chronic conditions.

Looking ahead, I am dedicated to contributing to ENA's growth, building meaningful relationships and upholding our core values of enabling, nurturing, and aspiring to positively impact both the organisation and the communities we serve."

"I joined ENA in October 2020 as a training consultant, before this I worked in the sector for 10 years. I worked my way up from a domiciliary carer to a manager, from there I found my passion for teaching and became a trainer in the care sector. This combined both my passion for care and teaching others.

What I love most about my role is that I can utilise the skills I learned as a carer in the learning environment and help stretch and challenge learners to develop their own knowledge, skills and confidence in their role. Working at ENA has been an amazing journey so far and that's a testament to the amazing people in my team. I can't wait to see where my career takes me from here."

"I started working as a training coordinator for ENA in June 2020. I began my career in health and social care by chance. I was young and volunteered at my local charity store to enable individuals who were living with a learning disability to achieve a paid role through the adapted training I provided them. I dedicated the next ten years to gaining knowledge, and skills, and experiencing every side of social care — from supported living, and learning disabilities to substance misuse, and of course my favourite subject Dementia.

I now get to support individuals not only gain the skills to provide quality care, but I also get to see the impact their care has on the individual they care for. I like to engage care staff to acknowledge the importance and value of their role as well as giving them the skills and confidence needed to provide the outstanding care ENA delivers."
