Absolute Care have looked after me for many years. My regular carers are good and take good care of me. The company were supportive during the pandemic as well. It is a struggle to find good care workers and as long as I have my regular team I’m fine

We have used Absolute Care for about ten years to care for my disabled wife.
The level of care provided is good and the staff are reliable, punctual and friendly.
The company is responsive to our needs and easy to contact when we have any questions or concerns. The invoicing process (we employ them
directly and not via the local authority) is straightforward and accurate.
I am happy with the overall quality of care that Absolute Care provides.

They have been looking after my mum for over one year, then my dad got ill and they helped to take care of him too. They take very good care of my parents, always polite, kind, caring and with respect.
My father passed away in March 2023, we would not have been able to cope on our own. We are so glad
we had the carers, they helped us through a very difficult time. My father was so happy every time they came to take care of him.
Thank you to the carers for the amazing work they do and I would highly recommend them.

I’ve found Absolute Care to be friendly helpful and will go the extra mile to help my lovely mum who has dementia.
The team will contact me if there is an issue or if my mum is poorly. I trust them and am really thankful to them.

My father was left in sheets covered in faeces, his clothes were covered in faeces and there was no food in the house. Another care provider had luckily been brought in as he needed extra support. They went out to buy him clean sheets, food, and towels and washed him. I knew this agency was doing as
a little as possible, a month previous his GP said he was concerned. This was also picked up by another person as well, I raised the alarm yet nothing was done. Absolute Care came out with nonsense defence, saying they never noticed faeces and they went and bought him food! No apology, just a lot of lies. They never communicated with me. This company shouldn't be in business, I was saved by the decent care agency who have now taken over. When I told Absolute Care I would expose them, they dropped my father with no notice. Enough said! Why they are rated Good by Care Quality Commission staggers me!

This client was living with a tenant who fed him every day, whilst the tenant was away our carer also had to buy sandwiches for him, we tried to contact the daughter and got no reply.
I eventually got her email and went through the issues raised, that the am carer was there and he had not had a toileting accident at that time but refused to let the carer wash and dress him saying he wanted to stay in bed.
Whilst emailing the daughter she became very aggressive in her wording, refused to listen, said we were fired, that she had also fired the tenant that lived with her father.
We did pull out due to the aggressive nature, the refusal to work together over issues raised and the bombardment of emails stating in each and every one that we were fired.
The complaint that she made, the interaction that we had with the daughter was all emailed to social services who also recommended that we pull out.

Including today 05/11/2021 they have failed to turn up on three occasions. Keep altering call times. Very unprofessionally run. Some refuse to wear face masks. This company was arranged by the council and I will be contacting my care worker yet again.

Unfortunately this person was unwilling to have any time apart from 11.30am on the dot. When we told the local authority we could take this person we informed them we could do the call at 10.30am.
The carers arrived and the person would send them away, then telephone the office to complain they were too early. We tried to say on numerous occasions that we could not do 11.30am and the time was agreed with the Council. This person stated that if we could not come at 11.30am not to bother coming at all.
We informed the Local Council and informed them that this person would not accept any other time. We gave back to the Local Authority to try and meet his needs with another company.
Even after this, this person kept ringing asking where his care was, we had explained to him what we had done but he was not happy with this solution either.
All carers wear masks and aprons on all calls and are spot checked for compliance.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.381 for Absolute Care UK Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (9 Excellents x 5) + (11 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 21 Ratings = 4.381

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Absolute Care UK Ltd is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 = 4.25

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
