Agincare UK Dorchester offers domiciliary care, respite care, palliative care and other home care services.

Expert care is provided for those who have dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, learning disabilities or who have suffered strokes. Non-weight bearing care is also available for those that have difficulty eating.

Care packages are tailored to the unique needs of the individual, helping them to live independently at home for as long as possible.

Staff are selected that are compassionate, kind and who have good knowledge and experience. The dignity and respect of clients is promoted by staff at all times.
Clients, relatives and carers are kept up to date on all major care decisions.

Main negative point is having different staff. Some are more sympathetic than others. Have not been asked for my preferences. I am very independent so it is hard to find tasks that fill my one hour. May reduce to half an hour.

Thank you for your feedback. We will always try to send regular care staff however at times this is not always possible due to a number of reasons such as sickness and annual leave. We have now reduced visits to half an hour but please do reach out if any more changes are required. Best regards.

Staff lovely - care excellent. I wish someone who works out the journey times for your carers would get in a car and do it themselves. These are mainly country roads, speed limits apply. Traffic lights, not only in towns. I live in Dorset - no motorway (thank goodness) a 30-mile journey here takes an
average of 1 to 1.5 hours. The carers' local journeys here - 6 miles - 15 to 20 minutes!

Get on well with most of the staff. Please to have regular visit times at the time promised on the weekly rota. Need more help with my husband at times, when he gets difficult.

I use Agincare sitting service for my husband. I have always found that I have been able to book the date and times of my choice. The carers have all been punctual, very pleasant and helpful. They always leave the kitchen just as they found it and tidy up behind themselves. I would give ten out of ten
for the service we have received.

Carly Trevett

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2022

Carly became a Registered Manager in 2022 and began her career in the care sector in 2013. After completing a Health and Social Care course at college, Carly started working for Agincare as a care worker. Right from the get-go, Carly knew this was the career for her.


After three years of being a care worker, Carly was approached by the manager to join the office team as a Care Coordinator, then progressing to Deputy Manager and now Registered Manager. Carly has recently completed her Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Adult Care and has achieved other qualifications such as Mental Health First Aid and Dorset Council Safeguarding.


Carly has always lived in Dorset and has recently moved into a new home with her partner in a village just outside of Dorchester. Carly loves cooking, baking, going on holiday abroad, spending time with friends and family, and more recently DIY in the new house.
