Thank you for your feedback. However, in response to your concerns, care workers have to have access to the clients records using a company app on their personal mobile, this enables them to log in and out, record medication and document details about the visit. If you feel that they are using their personal mobiles for something other than work related tasks please do not hesitate to contact the Office Manager so that this can be addressed. We believe that the care workers should be devoting their time to the client whilst at the visit. We are a multi-disciplinary equal opportunities employer, and all of our care workers are regularly monitored through spot checks and supervision to ensure safe and effective care is being delivered.

Samantha joined the Bridport branch in April 2022 and has been working in care for 15 years. She started her career off in care as a Care Worker and worked her way up to Registered Manager. Other roles have included Care Coordinator and Nursing Assistant.
Samantha has always had an interest and passion for helping people. Before working in care, Samantha worked at a local hospital as a Domestic Assistant, where she would always interact with the patients, Samantha has always worked with people, previously working in customer service with a front-facing role.
After losing her mother in 2000, Samantha began to volunteer and help local people with their daily tasks, such as taking them shopping, or to their appointments, this being before domiciliary care was established. In 2009, Samantha made a big move. She moved from her hometown in Wales to Dorset and this is when she began an official career in care. Palliative Care being an area of care Samantha really thrived on, giving her a sense of achievement.
Later, in 2011, Samantha took on her first role within Agincare as a Care Coordinator. During this time Samantha moved to another care provider and moved up the ranks becoming a Registered Manager. Then in 2020, moved back to Agincare as a Regional Field Care Supervisor. This role really helped Samantha progress.
Samantha has recently completed a Diploma Level 4 in Leadership and Management, which has helped greatly with her role.
