Angel Carers delivers Home Care and a 24-hour Live-in Care which is carefully tailored to suit your individual needs and requirements. As a locally based company, customer care is paramount to the agency's community-based service.

With over 30 years’ experience, Angel Carers delivers care to rely on. Servicing the Dorset, Devon and South Somerset areas, their comprehensive assessment system allows them to deliver personalised care and helps improve quality of life.

Their flexible services aim to help their clients live as independently as possible with the peace of mind that professional care is there when they need it.

Angel Carers have framework contracts with Dorset County Council, Devon County Council and neighbouring counties. In addition to this, Angel Carers are also contracted with the registered charity ‘help and care’.

Their quality assurance system ensures that clients’ feedback is central to the ongoing development of the business. Formally, this includes first response questionnaires, telephone questionnaires and annual quality assurance questionnaires.

Regular telephone contact is paramount between office staff, care workers, clients and their representatives. Regular reviews take place within the client’s home ensuring that the clients are fully involved in planning their current and future care needs.

My parents have received care, company and friendship from a wonderful live-in carer for more than 2 years now. She has been a godsend to the whole family, especially through the difficult weeks of lockdown. Sadly, my Mum passed away recently but the carer, through her meticulous care and attention,
enabled Mum to remain at home in her own surroundings, which was a comfort to us all. The carer continues to look after Dad, encouraging him to be positive about life, whilst being very sensitive to his feelings of grief and loss. They often laugh together! When the carer has taken a well-earned break, the people who cover the work are capable and friendly and quickly develop a good relationship. Our wonderful carer is part of our family now and everyone enjoys her company and her cooking, especially Dad!

Fiona has worked in the care industry since 2000. This includes residential, psychiatric, domiciliary and live-in care settings, mainly at the management level. Before this Fiona’s background was based in senior-level management. This included team leadership, training, customer care and financial administration. During this period Fiona was responsible for the re-training of managers who lacked relevant skills and was responsible for setting company benchmarks.
Role:
Fiona’s role within Angel Carers (UK) Ltd is to ensure that all standards set are adhered to. Quality assurance is paramount to Fiona and the company. Fiona is responsible for the implementation of regulated compliance. Additional responsibilities include the day-to-day running of the business, coordination of home visits, assessments, care planning, business operations and contract negotiation. Liaising with staff, clients and their representatives forms an important part of her role. Fiona’s duties ensure that all clients’ needs are met. This also involves correspondence with healthcare professionals and social care colleagues. Fiona’s extensive care background provides her with all the necessary skills to aid the smooth running of Angel Carers (UK) Ltd. Fiona is the designated Company Complaints Manager, Registered Manager, Responsible Individual, Director and Company Secretary.
