Barnfield Homecare has provided care for my aged parents for a number of months. I have been impressed by the professionalism and genuine empathy of the care team who attend to my parents at home. Nothing is too much trouble and all tasks are carried out with a smile and a willingness to give their
best. The team are flexible and can react to a changing situation, with regard to health, on a daily basis. The medicine management is efficient and staff are knowledgeable and thorough with the administration of the prescribed drugs.
The addition of Barnfield staff as care providers has relieved the pressure and worry as a family, we have confidence in the integrity and ability of the team who are the caregivers.

I organised the Barnfield Homecare support for my dear elderly cousin (who had a diagnosis of dementia).
During the initial assessment they were friendly and thorough, put my cousin and me at ease, and quickly built rapport and confidence by asking such good questions, sensitively and most importantly,
listening to the questions we had - giving such reassuringly clear explanations. Their flexibility and genuineness came through especially well.
In the conversations and meetings I had with Barnfield - it was clear they really do have a very person-centred approach. I have no hesitation in recommending them for serious consideration - if you - or a relative - have home care support needs in Stratford upon Avon.
They are local – ‘on the doorstep’ - a relatively small caregiver – with a big heart and a warm smile.
I felt confident I could trust Barnfield with my vulnerable elderly relative. The whole process was excellent from start to finish. Their rates were very fair too.

All the carers were kind, considerate and compassionate. They were also invariably cheerful and professional. They and you made a very difficult

Barnfield Homecare is a breath of fresh air for me, I have recently changed to this company as I was not happy with the service my husband and I received from the company we were with before. The difference is unbelievable. Thank you so much, girls, you have made life worth living again.

Lovely, kind carers who looked after my partner very well. Everyone at Barnfield Homecare has been very helpful and made sure that we received the help we needed. It was particularly good to have consistency of carers, so we got to know them. It was lovely to hear them laughing along with my partner.

Barnfield Care has been amazing with my dad after losing his wife, my mum, last year. They are caring and compassionate and keep us up to date with any issues, my dad who always seems to be in a better frame of mind after a visit.

What a lucky find! From our first meeting, it was obvious that Barnfield is very professional and client orientated. Our wishes and needs were carefully considered and the package put together was exactly what my husband and I both want at the moment. We have been told that should we need more care
in the future, it will be available. Our carer is doing an amazing job, his colleague who stands in for him is also very good. They are both respectful, kind and chatty.

My brother has a four times a day care package provided by Barnfield Homecare, he has established good relationships with his care team based on honest communication and mutual respect. The care team demonstrates flexibility and has, on many occasions gone the extra mile to ensure my brother's needs
are met, for which he and the family, are extremely grateful. The care team demonstrates knowledge and practical skills, which only highlights the successful training programme they undertake. The Registered Manager is open with her communication and has a " can do " approach, always positive and available to deal with any queries, even out of business hours. I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Barnfield.

I have 2 male carers one stays overnight which allows my wife to go to our son's for one day respite. The other comes the other days and stays to dress me and get me ready for the day and pm to get me ready for bed not to go to bed my wife and I do that later. Both carers are very good.

The regular carers provide a 1st class service to my father (96) he relies on them 100%.
However, a fact sheet would be helpful, so this can be given to the non-regular carers so they are fully aware of his daily needs and routine, i.e medication, variety of food etc. There is currently no regular
feedback system in place for me to see how if there are any immediate further needs and updates on his well-being.

To help further, we are actually implementing a new system where you can view carer notes once they have visited your father, so you can check in on his well-being almost instantly. On the whole, Barnfield was efficient. They were particularly helpful when we needed a carer urgently at very short notice. One thing that could have been improved was the cover for the existing live-in carer, this seemed to be quite unreliable and we always had to chase for this. This aside I would
be happy to recommend them, and they were far cheaper than some other local providers.

Good standard of care. Polite, friendly and approachable staff. Having these carers visit my mum while I was shielding and therefore unable to visit was invaluable. The care plans are written clearly and allow relatives to read how the care is going.

My father who is ninety-five this April has been a client of Barnfield HomeCare for nearly two years. At first, he was not keen to accept any personal care as he thought he could manage. He has two different girls who visit three times a week, he admits that he looks forward to the visits and enjoys
the company and care that the carers provide. He tells me that they are friendly, kind and willing to help out with most things, this also helps my mother who is ninety-two and in poor health. So from being very reluctant to accept any help, my father may well increase his care visits.

Using a new agency to care for one’s loved ones is always difficult. You have to have somebody you trust, especially if they live alone. This is why we are so happy with Barnfield:
From the initial comprehensive assessment onwards, all attention has been given to the client’s individual needs.
Carers
always identify themselves, are always cheery, clean and tidy in appearance. They maintain a high standard of hygiene in the house. They are professional without being distant, showing warmth, kindness and concern for the client.
Their careful and attentive administration of medication is meticulous.
Timekeeping is good, even at weekends or in bad weather. Two carers work efficiently and in harmony together and no time is wasted.
The communication between carers and management is good.
