Betamindes have cared for me know for 12mths and in that time my life and worries have been made a little easier. The carers are helpful and sensitive to my needs. They always arrive with a smile and continue to laugh at my jokes even though they have heard them before. I would be lost without them.
They have become friends as well as carers and long may it continue.

I have been very impressed by the kind, patient and helpful manner with which the Betamindes carers are supporting my parents. I also find management approachable and efficient. I have already recommended Betamindes to a friend of the family and would gladly do so again.

I visit my partner who has dementia for one hour on each of the three days she is there. For the past seven months, during each visit, I have noticed how kind, patient and caring that all the staff are. They are very professional in their dealings with all the clients they care for. I do know that my
presence could be out of the ordinary for them, but they always make me welcome despite that. Really lovely people.

I can't speak highly enough of the care my father has received at Betamindes in Crewe. On his first 'try-out' visit, I was invited to spend the half-day at the care centre with him, in order to help him settle. Right from the start, he was welcomed in and we were immediately encouraged to join in activities
of singing, dancing and quizzes. The staff were tirelessly attentive and friendly to everyone there. We were offered to stay for lunch and sat with two lovely ladies who said they attended every day and it's easy to see why. The centre arranges lots of themed days and provides entertainment and activities that everyone seems to enjoy, certainly judged by their social media photos and videos. Having been naturally reticent at first, my father now clearly loves his time at Betamindes - his face lights up when he arrives there and it clearly stimulates him, keeping him both mentally and physically active. Thank you all the staff at Betamindes.

My brother and I have LPA responsibility for our cousin who lives in Nantwich but unfortunately, both of us live some distance away. Consequently, we rely heavily on the homecare provided for her by Betamindes.
Their daily visits have been willingly and efficiently supplemented by accompanied visits
to outpatient appointments and other home visits where support is needed.
We are most grateful for their friendly, caring and conscientious approach, giving us peace of mind and enabling her to remain comfortable and happy in her own home.

Betamindes have dramatically improved the quality of life for my mother. They are professional in everything that they do and the standards are exceptional. All staff are warm and welcoming and always have time to talk to family members. My mother goes to daycare centre from Monday to Friday, the food
provided is excellent and the daily entertainment great, with such variation, mother gets massive benefits.

From my initial enquiry to having carers in place, Betamindes has been extremely professional and very helpful. This is an email that I sent to Betamindes as I wanted them to know how our experience had been. "I just wanted to let you know what a great job your carers are doing with respect to supporting
mum. The first week could not have gone better and mum has told me that all the carers that have visited have been friendly, helpful and caring - she really looks forward to seeing them. She was really low from her recent visit to hospital but since your carers started there has been an upward turn and she is more cheerful in herself and her outlook more positive. I'd also like to take this opportunity of thanking you for putting the carers into place so quickly, this really helped me too. Using Betamindes has been a really positive experience for us both, so thank you very much."

Initially, my relative was reluctant to accept carers but the staff have been very good at introducing care in an unobtrusive way.
It's greatly helped that the same small group of carers visit and she is now at ease with them.
We have also used the day centre which she has enjoyed and when I have
visited the staff have been patient, caring and engaging the clients in activities.
Office staff have been very accommodating when I've asked to make changes, have been understanding and have been able to offer extra care on short notice.

My nan has been using Betamindes for many years now, both daycare and at-home care.
The staff are exceptional at looking after her and the daycare sessions provide an ideal social environment she would not get at home.
Overall, Betamindes is a brilliant company that truly has its clients' best interests
at heart.

Overall my mother is happy with the care she receives. However, it would be better if she knew when to expect the Tuesday carer (for housework). The time of arrival varies from week-to-week and she is not told in advance when it is likely to be.

Is there a plan for better continuity of carers? In

particular, there is a different carer almost every Tuesday.

Since Betamindes started coming to Mum each day morning to help her get showered and dressed I have been happy with the care that she is receiving from the carers. They appear to be very supportive towards Mum and are patient with her, especially as initially Mum didn't want anyone coming. Mum now seems
to have settled into a routine and we, as a family, are happy with the care she is receiving.

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.779 for Betamindes Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (62 Excellents x 5) + (13 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 77 Ratings = 4.779

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

My passion for care began at a young age when, unfortunately, my late Grandma fell ill with Dementia, and she had to move in with my parents and me. I started to care for her while both my parents went out to work. I soon realised that the passion I had for care would turn out to be a profession.

Throughout my caring profession, I have worked with clients with Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities, Dementia, and Mental Health not just within the community but also within a residential setting.

Since becoming a Registered Manager in 2014, I have managed to win the Registered Managers award for the Northwest at the Great British Care Awards in 2016. I was honoured to also win the Registered Manager Award 2018 for the West Midlands and for Cheshire East with the Great British Care Awards which was a very proud achievement.

I enjoy Gardening and spending time with my family. I enjoy travelling and socializing with my friends. I also spend a lot of time with my Parents, we enjoy shopping and eating out together. I take them out at the weekend which keeps them active.
