Bluebirds cared for my dad a few years ago and more recently my mum. The quality of the care has been wonderful. The carers have always been professional but very friendly and cheerful, providing companionship aswell as practical help which has been invaluable during difficult times for our family.
Communication has also been good and any queries have been answered quickly. It's been great to have access to the carers' notes from each visit through the portal. They have quite simply been a lifeline for our family.

Very very happy with the morning visits to my Mum to help her get ready for the day. All the ladies are lovely. My Mum is so grateful and really enjoys their company. It's such a relief for myself and my siblings as we don't live near.

I have nothing but praise and appreciation for Bluebird Care. They have been honest and committed, with a team that has shown compassion and empathy towards my mum, treating her with the care and respect that highlights the high standards that the company delivers in actions, not just hollow, salesmanship
words. The management has been very patient and understanding when finances were being sorted, indicating a company that is delivering with care being the driving force. I would recommend the company to anyone who wants the reassurance that their loved ones are in safe and trusting hands and the fact that my mum felt she was being supported by friends, not just carers, shows the person-centred approach practised by the team. I am indebted to the company for giving my mum the best care possible for her physical and mental well-being.

I have been incredibly impressed by the support my father and I have received from Bluebird Care. I live 200 miles away and to have someone who is so focused and attentive to my father’s care needs gives me such peace of mind. Nothing is too much trouble. The quality of communication is excellent and
it’s obvious that supporting vulnerable older adults is not just a job for staff - more their personal calling in life. I am very appreciative of the 5-star service my father is receiving. I believe the carer treats my father as he would his own. Truly amazing. I cannot thank Bluebird Care enough.

Carers are friendly, knowledgable, and always make sure that the client has a visit that not just fulfills the care requirements but also a sociable time that is welcomed, a friendly face does the world of good.
Also, Bluebird always try and accommodate any change in circumstances and requirements
which is invaluable to know care can be provided when it is needed.
Finance and office staff are also great making sure all elements of the service are hassle free.

Came highly recommended and let us down at every opportunity, from not being able to gain access to the house through an unlocked door to missing out shower calls on 3 separate occasions, massively overpriced for the standard of care that is provided, would not recommend!

A dependable, sympathetic and well-organised service provided with a smile. If Bluebird Care says it will do something it does! The quality of the carers provided is high and I would recommend Bluebird Care to any elderly people (in particular) requiring help and care.

Excellent service, not had any concerns since staff started.
Obviously for myself no pressure.
Great communication as well.
I would recommend this agency to friends, family, etc.
They do things how I like it to be done for Mum as she has dementia.

After my spell in hospital, we enlisted your company to ease my workload by providing care first thing in the morning. The carer tends to my wife (who is disabled) by giving her a body wash, hair washed, dress and the gives her breakfast. She will then perform other tasks as required with her time slot.
We find the carers are cheerful and happy, and we have no complaints whatsoever.

I have used Bluebird Care Tamworth, Lichfield, Nuneaton & North Warwickshire services many times since February 2013. I live alone and experience low blood pressure at times, so need assistance for many tasks. My Bluebird Care Tamworth, Lichfield, Nuneaton & North Warwickshire carer escorts me to all
medical appointments. We also go shopping for basic goods and anything else I may need. As well as this, my carer and I have long walks and talk all the time. All this removes most of the demands on my family.

All the carers arrive on time and they assist with all daily tasks and go out when possible. All the carers are smartly dressed as there is no need for uniforms, they are all very respectful.

Changed to Bluebird Care Tamworth, when not satisfied with a previous company. During the time they have cared for me I have been treated with the greatest of respect and in a very caring manner. Nothing has been too much trouble from my personal needs or going to the shop. Everyone has been extremely
attentive, particularly my daily carer. Although expensive (which is the only reason I am having to cut back the service) I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other people.

My experience of Bluebird has been very good - only 2 'hiccups' with 2 people which was rapidly sorted by the staff at the office.
My carers have helped me with kindness and warmth through some very 'dark' times and given me hope and encouragement when I needed it. Also given me the strength to carry
on when life seemed very bleak. They have been supportive at all times and I have looked forward to their visits twice a day. Thank you, Bluebird.

In 2007, after having spent most of her career in customer service Deborah decided to be a part of the fulfilling care sector as she was passionate about supporting the care needs of the elderly.


Deborah was searching for a more rewarding role that she could demonstrate her passion and commitment to each and every day and that is exactly what she gets in her role as Registered Care Manager and owner of the business.


?Deborah feels blessed that she is able to be a part of a family at Bluebird Care that has the same values, vision and aspirations that match her own.
Furthermore, Deborah admires the founders of Bluebird care, who are an ‘ordinary couple’, dedicated to providing respect and dignity to the vulnerable people in our community, something Deborah can relate to. Deborah believes that these are the perfect foundations for care providers.

Martin Lahert along with his partner Deborah are the owners of Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield.
Martin has worked in various commercial roles within large organisations and wanted a career that would allow him to put his business skill, experience and knowledge to good use by doing something that would positively impact on others’ lives and when an opportunity came up to purchase the Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield business (where Martin has lived for over 25 years) he jumped at it and is pleased to say that he and Deborah have been the proud owners since June 2018 and look forward to making the business even greater than it is now.

Tina Carter, our Care Manager, has worked for Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield for over five years.


Tina enjoys working for Bluebird Care as we provide a very professional environment with a constant focus on delivering quality care and customer service.


Tina started with Bluebird Care as a care assistant and was promoted within a year to care co-ordinator.
In November 2017, Tina was promoted into the care manager position. Tina is a trainer in Medication Administration, Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, including CPR and Peg Feed. Tina believes home care is a fantastic and meaningful career, and is a prime example of the opportunities that exist at Bluebird Care and thoroughly enjoys working in the care industry.
