We changed to Bluebird Care from a previous company and it was the best choice possible. Our carer is so friendly and kind to my dad. She helps to manage his dietary needs, medications and any other tasks to keep dad happy. The reassurance of the carer's visits is so valuable, just knowing daily needs
are met.

Bluebird Care have been amazing. I could not have coped without their support and Mum and Dad love their carers, enjoy their company and appreciate all the carers' support. On the day Mum came home from the hospital, the first care team were there within a few hours. The immediately made Mum fell happy with her decision to come home. The care they provided put her mind at ease. They were absolutely fantastic in their approach, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
They felt like family to us. Without them, we would not have been able to give Mum the care she needed. She called them her angels, and they truly were just that. Would highly recommend.

Your staff have been a godsend to my mother-in-law during the lockdown. Your more mature members of staff have been marvellous. They have assisted us as well as my mother-in-law. i.e. Telling us if there were problems. Thank you once again.

I have nothing but praise for this company. That includes carers and management. Nothing is too much trouble and many, many times they have gone above and beyond to help us. If there is any problem, they will phone us to let us know what is happening (though this is not very often). The carers have
arrived with masks, gloves, and aprons at all times. To be honest they have become an extension to our family.

We called on Bluebird care when my mother in Law was due home following emergency respite care and a spell in hospital. Her health had declined quickly. She had been living independently. She was eventually diagnosed with Dementia Alzheimer's. Bluebird Care was very accommodating. They arranged an assessment
and care cover really quickly, so there was no gap in provision following the end of the NHS cover. All the carers and managers were friendly, approachable, communicative, and supportive. They greatly helped my Mother in Law and she enjoyed their company. We don't know what we would have done without them.

Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield is led by Deborah Lahert.


In 2007, after having spent most of her career in customer service Deborah decided to be a part of the fulfilling care sector as she was passionate about supporting the care needs of the elderly.


Deborah was searching for a more rewarding role that she could demonstrate her passion and commitment to each and every day and that is exactly what she gets in her role as Registered Care Manager and owner of the business.


?Deborah feels blessed that she is able to be a part of a family at Bluebird Care that has the same values, vision and aspirations that match her own.
Furthermore, Deborah admires the founders of Bluebird care, who are an ‘ordinary couple’, dedicated to providing respect and dignity to the vulnerable people in our community, something Deborah can relate to. Deborah believes that these are the perfect foundations for care providers.

Martin Lahert along with his partner Deborah are the owners of Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield.
Martin has worked in various commercial roles within large organisations and wanted a career that would allow him to put his business skill, experience and knowledge to good use by doing something that would positively impact on others’ lives and when an opportunity came up to purchase the Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield business (where Martin has lived for over 25 years) he jumped at it and is pleased to say that he and Deborah have been the proud owners since June 2018 and look forward to making the business even greater than it is now.
We are passionate about quality, both in the building of a great team of Carers and delivering the best service to our customers. We would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves, for a loved one, or simply like to talk to someone about the service we provide.

Tina Carter

Job Title: Care Manager

Tina Carter, our Care Manager, has worked for Bluebird Care Tamworth & Lichfield for over five years.


Tina enjoys working for Bluebird Care as we provide a very professional environment with a constant focus on delivering quality care and customer service.


Tina started with Bluebird Care as a care assistant and was promoted within a year to care co-ordinator.
In November 2017, Tina was promoted into the care manager position. Tina is a trainer in Medication Administration, Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, including CPR and Peg Feed. Tina believes home care is a fantastic and meaningful career, and is a prime example of the opportunities that exist at Bluebird Care and thoroughly enjoys working in the care industry.


Hannah

Hannah Burgess

Hannah Burgess, our Marketing Executive, started with Bluebird Care in June 2020.


Hannah has previously worked in the Travel and Tourism industry since leaving college but has now decided to develop a rewarding career in the care industry. Hannah loves that with Bluebird Care people are able to remain independent and living in their own homes.
