I was more than happy with the high standard and care I received for my husband and myself from your carers. Nothing was too much trouble for them and were always there if I needed someone to talk to and were always cheerful which made you feel better when you were having a bad day.

My aunt has consistently expressed her satisfaction with the service and the people who support her.
I am very happy with the support as it helps me a lot as well as my aunt and enables her to live at home.
The manager is very helpful and assists me to plan for my aunt including attending meetings
to support us.
I am able to organise additional care when I need it which is very flexible.

Bluebird have been brilliant with my Mum and me. She gets carers she knows and any new carers are introduced rather than showing up. Communication is great and honest and the team including the admin support show flexibility and pragmatism. The most important thing though, is that I feel Mum is safe
with the team. They do match the carers to the person and if I've been around when Mum is with the Bluebird carers, I can hear her laughing. I got Bluebird from a word of mouth recommendation and all I can say is that I can see why someone was confident to recommend them and I'm happy to do the same.

The care that Bluebird give my wife is second to none, the staff and management are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, and always on time. We feel very comfortable with the staff when they are in our home and they leave everything tidy - can't fault them.

My Grandfather needed some short aftercare after a fall to get him back on his feet, the staff were excellent, prompt timekeeping and always willing to do that little bit extra. My Grandfather is well enough now, but I will be using Bluebird again in the future when we need that extra help. Thanks once

In using Bluebird, we have found that the transition from independent living to assisted living for Mum and Dad has been handled with sensitivity, understanding and professionalism. Bluebird has really helped in taking away the day to day worry of how Mum and Dad are coping whilst remaining in their
home, giving the family the peace of mind which comes from knowing that Bluebird is taking the first line of care and responsibility. Bluebird have brought into our parents home a wealth of personalities, experiences and care which they would have not otherwise experienced. As our parents needs have changed over the time, we have used Bluebird, they have discussed with us how best to adapt care plans to ensure a dynamic and flexible approach without any sense of ‘Taking over’.
It is Mum and Dads wish that they remain in their own home and we are very aware that without the dedication, diligence and care that Bluebird provides, this is a wish that we would truly struggle to fulfil.

I like this company very much, both the office staff and carers are very nice. I have care in the morning and two long visits Tuesdays and Thursdays. On a Tuesday, I go to the local supermarket in Ellsworth and have some food and then my carer and I go to the antique place in Ramsbottom. Afterwards,
she takes me to a coffee shop and on Thursdays, we go somewhere else and I am happy with them.

Bluebird has been a reliable care provider. There are individual carers who are brilliant and go above and beyond and there have been some who haven't been as good. The client required carers 4 x a day and there wasn't always the continuity of carers she would have liked. She became incredibly anxious
when new people were visiting and was specifically worried about very young carers attending to her at bedtime.
Overall the service is good but would benefit from better continuity.

Went out of their way to train staff to meet needs. Two staff provided to cover absence if illness or holidays, so never a strange face. I have extremely high standards and they come pretty close. Compared to other agencies I have used, they are Outstanding in comparison. It is their care workers that
are to be given the praise. Well done to Bluebird for finding them. They have taken the cream!

Bluebird Care (Bury) have provided care services for me for the past ten years. I value their efficiency, flexibility, consistency and continued support.
Whenever I have needed extra assistance (sometimes at short notice) the team have ensured this was swiftly arranged.
Although Bluebird Care fees
are quite expensive, the regularity and quality of care outweighs this.
My carer is very kind, patient, polite and understanding. She goes out of her way to fit in as much as possible during her visit, which I greatly appreciate.

I am very satisfied with the support my son receives from Bluebird Care (Bury). The staff are very helpful and supportive to my son and his needs, which are not visible needs because his requirement stem from a brain deprived injury. Mobishir Rawthore

Job Title: Director

Joined: 2016

Mobishir Rawthore has a wealth of experience running a business, having previously been a director of Glancy Rawthore Graphics for over 25 years. Looking for a change in direction and wanting to work in an industry where he would be able to make a difference to people’s lives, he decided to take over Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton in May 2016.


Mobi, as he is affectionately known, has a passion to deliver high quality care into the community, working with his care management team to ensure that the systems and processes are in place to deliver the type of care “which I would want for my family or relatives”. He takes the lead role within the management team to ensure that the team is meeting CQC standards and that staff are fully supported in personal development by certified training.


Mobi ensures that all staff understand the importance of working in the care sector and putting the customer first. It is of the utmost importance to him that we allow the customers to receive homecare and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. This is so we can enable our customers to keep their independence for as long as possible.


Mobi is married to Cath and has two Daughters, Kate and Ella. In his spare time he is a keen golfer and represents Cheshire County Seniors. He has always been an avid sportsman, having played badminton for Lancashire County for over 15 years. 


Christopher

Christopher Turner

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2010

Our Registered Manager, Christopher Turner joined Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton in December 2010 as a care worker and quickly built a reputation for the quality of his care and support, his excellent work ethic, professional manner and, most of all, his popularity with our customers.


Although busy both in the office and at home with is partner and two young children, Chris has been successful in obtaining his CMI Level 7 in Leadership and Management.


Christopher left Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton for a short period of time at the end of 2018. He was offered a position as a regional manager for a nationwide Live-in Care company. It was a fantastic oppourtunity for Christopher to gain more experience and he enjoyed his time there, however when the oppourtunity arose for Christopher to return to Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton as General Manager, he was excited to come back and take on a new challenge.

Kate Rawthore

Job Title: Care Supervisor

Joined: 2017

Kate joined Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton in July 2017.


Kate has recently moved back to Manchester after completing a degree in Education. During her studies she worked alongside a variety of children and young people, in a number of different settings. One of which was in a school for children with special educational needs and disabilities, this was the highlight of her time at university and it really brought out a passion for caring and helping others, adults as well as children.


“Seeing what a difference I could make to the development of the children I worked with was so rewarding. After that I knew I wanted to work in an industry where I could continue to help people and make a positive impact on their lives”.


Kate's primary role is to work with our customers and their families members to make sure they all recieve the right care and support. Kate works hard to ensure that every care plan is specifically tailored to the needs of each individual customer. As well as working with new customers, Kate has regular meetings with exisiting customers to make sure they are happy, as well as giving them the oppourtunity to give direct feedback about the standard of care they recieve. Kate is also heavily involved with recruitment and the marking for the company.


Kate is the eldest daughter of Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton's Director, Mobishir Rawthore. She is working with her father to ensure we are providing the highest possible standard of care, at the same time as keeping our care workers and our customers happy.


Joanne

Joanne Casey

Job Title: Care Supervisor

Joined: 2008

Joanne joined Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton in 2008 and is now our longest serving employee – a tribute to her calm and professional manner with customers and colleagues.


Joanne started with Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton as a care worker; however she was quickly promoted to Care Supervisor after just 12 months. This well-deserved promotion saw Joanne take on much greater responsibilities within the company, a role in which she has excelled she has also completed ILM Level 3 in First Line Management


Joanne’s primary role today is to work with our customers and their families and friends to make sure that they get the right care and support. Her primary activity involves taking care of customers, getting to understand them and translating their needs and desires into formal care plans.


Michelle

Michelle Milner

Job Title: Care Coordinator

Joined: 2013

Michelle is our care coordinator and joined Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton in 2013, initially as a care worker.


Michelle has vast experience within the care sector and is our internal training manager.


Michelle is qualified to train our staff in Moving & Handling and the Administration of Medication.

Joined: 2021

Nina joined Bluebird Care Bury & Bolton in Novmber 2021 and quickly became an integral part of our team here in Bury & Bolton.
