I have been very satisfied with my care from Bluebird Care Leeds North. My carer is always prompt, even though having to travel by public transport. I can depend on her to provide the care needed for my comfort and safety. She is reliable which is a definite asset.

The change in timing for visits appears to be working well. The Bluebird now helps Mum with her evening meal. Mum is adjusting to the new arrangements and the meal delivery service. Mum is now having 2 visits a day - one from the meal provider and one from the Bluebird. Mum is getting increasingly forgetful
and needs more support with household tasks.

Very good communication through the online record of visits and phone calls if carers are concerned about anything.
All carers are friendly, helpful, and sympathetic.
My mother-in-law has visits from many different carers and at different times each day, which may not be convenient or helpful for
some people's needs.

The majority of carers are very kind, and attentive and do the job well. However, I find it frustrating that new carers keep being introduced who don't know my wife, her needs, and where things are kept. It would be better if any new carers shadowed a regular carer before being left on their own.

I feel that Bluebird Care treat my mum with a high level of care and friendship but also has a laugh with her on their visits. She had gone to bed one night when the carer arrived and when she heard her voice she got out of bed and came downstairs very quickly. This carer also sits with her sometimes
watching TV where they critique programmes together which she loves. On the occasions when Mum has not been well, they always do a sterling job of cleaning up after her. Mum has short-term memory issues and she can't remember their names but she definitely recognises their voices and she seems to love them all which I think is reciprocated by the carers themselves.
I feel comfortable knowing Bluebird is looking after my mum.

Excellent service provided by Bluebird Care.
All the carers who attend are very pleasant and professional.
The client has dementia and is bedridden and can be difficult to deal with (mood swings) sometimes however she always responds well to one carer who treats her with empathy and dignity. He has
built a lovely rapport with her and she's always in a good mood when he leaves!
Close family use the online application to monitor her care - again, this is very good as notes are uploaded after every visit.
The staff are very approachable and are always helpful in discussing and agreeing our needs and any changes to the service they provide.
Very happy customer.

Bluebird Care has been absolutely fantastic in helping my parents come home from hospital. They were so proactive, helpful, kind, organised and practical in organising the house so that a live-in carer could move in, allowing my parents to come home. I can't praise them enough. The live-in carers are
fantastic. My mum is thriving now. My dad is coming home tomorrow and the carer will take care of both of them. It takes a huge weight off my mind as I live 200 miles away. I'm really grateful to the team at Bluebird.

Bluebird have been visiting my partner on a weekly basis. They take him out walking to the local cafés. My partner always enjoys these visits. The carers are very attentive to his needs. At very short notice, Bluebird Care were able to offer the support I required following a knee replacement operation. This comprised l hour per day and was not personal care or meal provision but rather compensating for my temporary loss of mobility on a short-term basis e.g. fetching prescriptions/
shopping/transporting items up and down stairs/vacuuming the carpets etc. This is the third occasion that Bluebird have assisted in post-operative care and have always been very reliable - even this December in the run-up to Xmas when there was a great deal of flu about and their staffing was reduced by illness and seasonal holidays. Happy with service. Maybe could be updated when changes are made to the routine as I think you have reduced the amount of time the carers help my dad to shower. This may well be on his request however we arrange homecare to encourage him to shower more often.

Bluebird provide excellent care for my dad. He was recently very poorly and couldn't attend his booked respite placement. I had cancelled his regular visits from Bluebird for the respite week but they very kindly slotted him back in with his twice daily visits which was so kind and caring and such a
relief.
Management and carers offer wonderful support and understanding. Bluebird Care is consistently excellent.

Bluebird Care are providing a first-class service to my ageing parents. I met with one member of staff initially to discuss their needs and to understand the services they can provide - she was very professional, understanding and accommodating. She carried out a full assessment and returned with a
very detailed care plan, which we were very happy to accept and engage with Bluebird as our choice of care provider.
All the carers that have attended to my parents have been professional, understanding and caring. They consistently meet all their needs in a pleasant and friendly manner (especially apt when dealing with a patient who has dementia - they can be difficult sometimes!). We are very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for carers.

My nana was very nervous to have care to begin with but Bluebird Care have been excellent from the very start. All the carers have been excellent at making her feel settled and at ease with the care she receives. She has formed some lovely bonds with the carers. The office staff have also been so accommodating
and are there to help 24/7. We are very grateful to Bluebird Care.

Sheree

Sheree Jenman

Job Title: Director

Sheree brings a wealth of professional expertise to Bluebird Care. Prior to owning Bluebird Care Leeds North, Sheree was a Quality Manager with the Bluebird Care Franchise Support Centre, providing advice and support to around forty Bluebird Care franchises in the North and East Midlands region.


Sheree said,
"Bluebird Care stands for exactly the type of quality care provision that I want to be associated with. I knew the moment I became involved with Bluebird Care that this brand represented the type of quality services that I’m happy to put my name to. Coming from a care and quality background, I self-assess our service on a daily basis and I’m only satisfied with a service that holds dignity and respect at its heart and is good enough for my own loved ones.”

Bringing with her, 18 year's experience in the health and social care sector in a variety of roles, Sheree initially worked as a front-line Support Worker, Registered Manager and then Senior Manager of multiple services. She worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for a large Yorkshire based Housing Association and then started her journey with Bluebird Care working for the Franchise Support Centre before investing in her own Bluebird Care franchise in early 2019.

A career in the social care sector has given Sheree the opportunity to lead a range of services including domiciliary care, care homes, extra care, supported living and day services and has experience of working with older people, people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness, chaotic lifestyles and children and families.


Throughout her career, Sheree gained vital knowledge of the care industry and understands what excellent care looks like and more importantly, the impact that poor care has on the people who receive it.


Sheree is born and bred in Leeds and is very proud to be able to bring outstanding quality home care to her local community.

Sophie is the Care Manager and CQC Register Manager for Bluebird Care Leeds North. She started her journey with Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant in 2012 and flourished within a supportive environment, that saw her develop and progress to the Care Manager role.
Having worked in most roles within the business, Sophie is a fountain of knowledge in Care and Support.
Sophie leads the team with integrity, she thrives on learning every day and works hard to continuously develop the service. She manages operations in an organised manner and supports staff with confidence and kindness.
