We are all very happy with the carer who attends every day to make sure our father is happy and makes sure that the carer looks after him by giving all the medications our father needs and we are more than happy. Our father and family are very confident and happy with everything. The company overall
is excellent and really good as they take good care of all patients.

I am beyond happy with the care package we have been provided with. The carer assigned to us for my father has been really friendly, passionate and, most of all, very caring. An absolute joy to be around. He is here on a daily basis and my father always has a smile on his face once he arrives each day.
We knew straight away that we wouldn't have any problems, as we got on from the first day. It takes a very special individual to do a job like this and fits the bill perfectly.

Since my father started to need additional help with meals, medication and personal care, we had to get carers in, although he was against it.
Those carers helped my father a lot in his final few months.
They kept an eye on him and reported problems to us so we were very happy with the care given
to him right up until his last day.

The standard of care is good to poor, it always varies. There is no training given to staff or any monitoring of what the carers are doing. Even timekeeping is not kept, some keep to the time and others don't.
Carers think you are at their mercy. We are all individuals and have different needs as
well as personalities. We should be understood, not like a piece of meat, treated like a human being.

My father is currently happy with the care he is receiving. The majority of the carers are reliable, flexible and thorough in what they do. We had a few issues with time-keeping a few months back. It was affecting my father emotionally, I raised the issue with management, it is now sorted and things
are going smoothly now.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.7 (8.667) out of 10 for Care 4 U is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.667 for Care 4 U is calculated as follows: ( (12 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 18 Ratings = 4.667

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Care 4 U is based on 3 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 4

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
