I am so pleased we chose Day to Day Care Ltd to provide care for dad. They are very professional, compassionate and human. The initial review meeting was excellent and the care team are amazing. Dad needs help getting washed and dressed each day and it is such a relief to know that he starts his day
safely. They look out for mum as well - she can't help dad as she is 95 and tires very easily. They respect her needs and wishes as well as dad's and they look out for her too (for example, the care log mentioned mum looked pale and unwell when she answered the door, and I had a call to alert me to this). I log on to the portal part way through the morning and can see from the comments how mum and dad's day has started which is very helpful as I can tell, for example, what might need doing when I visit them in the afternoon. The carers go above and beyond. I would recommend this company to anyone who, like us, is having to face up to the fact that their parent(s) need additional help.

From the very first call I made to Day to Day Care, I felt a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. They visited to discuss the care we needed and a plan was agreed and care started within a few days. From the very first visit, the ladies were professional, punctual, reliable and very friendly.
With their help, I was able to respect my friend's wishes and keep her in her own home until she sadly passed away. The ladies were always there for me too offering support when I needed it. I would highly recommend Day to Day Care Ltd and will definitely use them again in the future.

I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful team from day-to-day care. The whole team were exceptional not only caring for my mum but caring about her. They went the extra mile in all circumstances adjusting to meet mum's needs as they became more complex. They went above and beyond their duties.
It was a great relief to me to know that mum's needs were met with such care and diligence. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The team are highly professional but most of all compassionate in their care of my father. I travel often for work and I have peace of mind knowing that he is well looked after in the comfort of his own home. The team are responsive to all my requests and the timely updates whilst I am away mean that
I can stay informed of any issues and help to resolve them quickly where necessary

My neighbour was elderly and needed care at home. At first social services provided care but it was very poor and unreliable and my neighbour disliked the care provided. I then phoned Day to Day Care and they really helped by providing the care my neighbour really needed. They were reliable and caring.
Most importantly they engaged with my neighbour, chatted and made her meals and cups of tea etc. I am very grateful for the help they provided and would recommend this company to anyone who is seeking care for a loved one at home.

My mother has home help support twice a week. The carer always arrives on time, she attends to the support tasks needed and takes time to chat to my mum. She’s friendly and nice to have in the house. On the few occasions someone else came instead of her, they have been lovely. We also appreciate the
management, who have understood Mum’s needs and arranged everything very well.

As a full time carer for my mum, we used this company for the first time to cover me whilst I took a holiday with family to recharge.
From start to finish the service was warm and welcoming. I was able to check daily updates of how Mum was and what task has been completed.
The staff were all so compassionate
and kind, they all built a great rapport with both Mum and Dad and were professional and caring at all times, ensuring Mum was always comfortable and her care needs were thoroughly met.
I would not hesitate to use this company again next time and highly recommend.

In a nutshell excellent. Anyone who needs to use this service will be going through a rather tough time already but once we had reached out to Day to Day Care they made everything stress free. Everyone we spoke to was very helpful and understanding, I feel like we were listened to and they made it
their priority to get to know my mother-in-law. Once we were using the service we found the app very useful, lots of information is added so we know how each visit went. If there were any issues the office would call us right away so we could action. We felt that Mum was in excellent hands for every visit. Thank you Day to Day.

The whole service embodies the word ‘care’. It’s like having a member of your own family helping with whatever is needed. Whatever you need can be provided absolutely hassle free. I experienced social care with my dad some years ago and there is no comparison.

When we realised that my mother needed care it was a daunting time for us. We had previously had a care company and were not happy with the level of care Mum received so we cancelled. But health issues took a bad turn. So we contacted Day to Day Care, I have to say we received the best care, we had
the review and care started straight away. My mum had a good relationship with the carers, they were all very caring, highly experienced and gave 100% to her, not only to her but also was there for the family. Sadly, she went into a care home but I would recommend Day to Day Care.

My husband's previous care company were not able to provide the care he needed and fortunately, Day To Day were able to take over at the last minute. All the carers were very professional but at the same time gentle and understanding of my husband's needs. (They also cared for me on a couple of occasions.)
I would have no hesitation in recommending Day To Day to anyone.

They provide an excellent service and are at the end of a phone if you have any problems. They always attend at the allotted times. They look after my brother's personal care i.e. bathing/shaving and ensure that he has clean clothes. In addition, his rooms are hoovered and the kitchen and bathroom are
kept clean and tidy. The carers are friendly and chat with my brother which helps his well-being.

When mum first started having care, it wasn't from Day To Day. It was six weeks of problems. When she was switched to Day To Day I was amazed at the difference. All of the carers actually cared. It never seemed like they were just doing a job. It always seemed personal. Mum loved most of 'her girls'.
When she was being difficult for myself, my husband, or my sister, she was almost always happy to do as her girls asked. If ever there was a problem, which was rare, the office, and a supervisor were always easy to talk to. Issues were resolved very quickly. Not only were they great with mum, but they gave us great support and comfort too. When we lost mum they were fantastic with some of her girls attending the funeral service. I am now in a position where I need carers, and although I am happy with the service I am getting, I wish I had been assigned Day To Day.

The family was thrown into turmoil when my mother came out of hospital. It was clear she would need carers but we were unprepared and did not know where to start. A relative said they had received excellent care from Day to Day Care Ltd so we gave them a ring. They visited my mother to discuss her needs
and a Care Plan was completed within days. The care my mother received was truly first-class over an extended period of about 18 months. She developed friendships with several of the carers and their visits improved her quality of life, in addition to meeting her care needs. I was particularly impressed with their patience and willingness to go the extra mile when necessary. The administrative staff were also first class and replied very promptly whenever we contacted them with a query. They were also very accommodating when unexpected changes to my mother's care needs were required at short notice. We really could not have asked for more.

Having had two care agencies before, I was relieved to find Day to Day Care. The carers looked after my mum with care and compassion. Always on time, helping her shower and dress, then as she declined, calling out the district nurse, reporting problems to myself, feeding her and prompting her medication.
Caring for her cat also. With the carers leaving notes on the app, I felt reassured Mum was safe and well. They looked after her coming in four times a day till the end with palliative care, and I am very thankful to the carers for everything. With them, we kept her home with her beloved cat where she wanted to be. I would recommend Day to Day in Orpington for looking after your loved ones and for peace of mind.

Being a carer is a commitment to the well being of those they are deemed responsible for. The profession – for it is that - necessitates a wide range of skills that vary from client to client, the changing needs that arise and the ability to instil confidence. My mother received the best care from her
carers. Regular faces allowed her to chat happily with them as continuity was important. Kindness was always evident, the humour, the patience and the knowledge were exceptional. The creation of a care plan and the rota system were all part of this teamwork. As a daughter, I felt supported throughout. I can only offer my thanks to all those at Day to Day Care that looked after my mother. An amazing group of people.

Day to Day Care enables my very elderly mother to manage her personal care with the additional assistance she increasingly needed. She used their service more and more over about six years, and the carers who attended her were always efficient and helpful, and particular carers who attended her regularly
over the past couple of years were very kind and caring and became her friends.
