This review is to say how pleased and impressed we have been by the service recently provided to my Mother by the Somerset and Wiltshire Branch of Berkeley Home Health. She needed a home care package at short notice following the closure of her previous care provider and Berkeley rose nobly to the
challenge! The Branch team showed a high level of professionalism from the start, taking us through the on-boarding process sensitively and efficiently. They have continued to deliver an effective, efficient and flexible service, providing excellent and competent care staff to visit my mother in her home. The Branch team have also shown very good communication with/ commitment to us.
Our contract with them has only ceased because my mother has needed to move into a care home, or we would be very happy to continue with them. We would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone considering them for a home care service. Thank you for looking after Mum so well!

I'm very pleased with the level of care given to my aunt, who is 92 and housebound. The Berkeley carers attend to her four times a day. They are thoughtful, courteous and efficient. They also consider her overall needs, not just their allocated tasks; they consider and recommend bath needs, alarm, and
shopping. Importantly, they also try their best to be on time. I would be happy to recommend them.

Superb!
After struggling with several other less than satifactory care providers, Berkeley has been a revelation! Their standard of care is exemplary, the staff are compassionate, empathetic, friendly and kind, well trained and efficient.
I would highly recommend Berkeley Care to anyone that needs
a Domiciliary service.

Berkeley Home Health has been looking after me for several years and although it has always had good carers, since there has been a change of manager, the service provided and the carers are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. I feel totally safe in their hands.

Berkeley Care staff have been fantastic with their care for my mother over the last few years, where her needs have changed they have accommodated all her care requirements with diligence and in a pleasant and personal manner.
I cannot fault their literally excellent “bedside manner”, two carers especially
have been a real ray of light in Mum's life with their personal touch and formed a bond with Mum.
It has sometimes been difficult with Mum's changing physical and sometimes mental state but they have continued to adapt and deal with these in a very professional and again personal way, for that we have been very grateful.
Mum would definitely not have been able to stay in her own home if it had not been for Berkeley Care supporting my sister and myself in our efforts to maintain Mum's wishes to stay in her own home to the last, this was achieved and for that, my sister and myself will remain forever grateful to Berkeley Care.

Berkley have been there for us through an extremely tough time. My mum lost her husband and could not care for herself, we had no response from any other company to help us. The team went above and beyond to make sure Mum had the care she needed at the right times. They even upped the care at short
notice after she had a stroke.

Very respectful of my father and his care and wants and my father looked forward to seeing all of them. If any problems arose they were dealt with or the carers would contact us straight away. Nothing ever seemed too much.

This care provider through various guises provided remarkable care to my mother for well over 10 years. We had some tough times but the care enabled her to remain in her own home despite not being able to walk, bathe and go to the loo on her own. She died aged 100 and one day. Enough said.

My father has a ½ hour visit to provide company and heat up a food meal. The carers always leave the kitchen area clean and tidy. Dad enjoys the company of the carers and looks forward to their visits. They are always on time and have never let him down. If they feel Dad needs me they always contact
me and stayed with Dad until I arrive. We would recommend this company to anybody.

My Mother-in-Law has mixed dementia and it recently became apparent she was no longer capable of caring for herself properly. Once Castle Care started, they have come in every lunch-time to give her a hot meal, and make her a sandwich for the evening. They also stay and chat with her over a cup of tea,
and my Mother-in-Law regards them all as friends. They treat her with respect and courtesy, even when she has had the odd episodes to do with her illness, and they have met each crisis with commendable efficiency and compassion, contacting the doctor when required and keeping us fully informed of all problems or just progress updates.

Castle Care have now been caring for Mother-in-Law for around four months, and it has made a huge difference to her. Now she is properly fed, she seems brighter and more like her old self, although we know she can only get worse. They have also been supportive to us, offering a path through the maze and making several helpful suggestions to make both her and our lives easier.

They are an excellent and committed agency, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
