Excellent service provided by Christies Care, from the initial enquiry right through to the delightful live-in carers who look after my mother. Communication is timely and relevant by all members of the Christies team and I really feel that my mother's well-being, dignity and care needs are always at
the forefront of everything the agency does. Christies Care has allowed me to return to being a daughter and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Organisation/administration seems quite good. Regular contact from Christies Care. Only experienced two carers so far. It is taking some time to break the ice with my wife, who is resistant to outside help, but progress is being made as carers become tuned in to what is required - what approaches work
and what do not. One carer is very limited in helping with cooking. Both have been willing and wanting to be involved.

In terms of the cooking help, this is very interesting and thank you for pointing it out. In fact, we have a programme looking at cooking and how we can improve, which just kicked off this month. It should start to feed through to the carers in the early part of next year.

We have only been having a carer for my sister for five weeks, but I can honestly say that the carers are excellent. So far, we have had two for three weeks and one for two weeks; they have done everything that is required of them, and my sister is very well cared for by them.

For the last three months, my father has received live-in care with Christies Care. He is very weak and some days he finds it difficult to think and communicate. # I have been very impressed by the Christies carers. They are always there for him, they are skilful and patient and they give him time to
communicate and listen to what he says. They operate with scrupulous honesty. We feel very relieved to have found this company.

We have been very happy with the care and support both from Christies Care as a company and the individual carers they provide. My father is receiving palliative care and this time has been a roller coaster both in terms of his care needs and emotionally for all of us. The carers have all, without exception,
adjusted to the changing circumstances and have treated him with dignity and respect. They have all been incredibly caring and nurturing individuals. They make him smile.
I have no hesitation in recommending Christies Care.

It was so reassuring knowing that the carer was there if Mum needed her. The organisation of the live-in carer was very efficient and prompt. The carer made contact before she arrived and had researched Mum's conditions and thought about the best way to support her when she arrived. She was very calm
and patient with Mum. It gave me a few weeks' break when I didn't need to worry about Mum.
I would definitely use Christies Care again.

We had an overall good experience with Christies Care. Mum seemed happy with all the care given. The carers managed with a changing and sometimes challenging situation admirably. Christies communication was clear, easy and proactive. The app helped us all keep up to date with Mum's care. We have some
nice memories from photos that were kindly taken. The company chooses the care carefully and fits to each person in need.

From the moment I engaged Christies Care, I was incredibly impressed not only by the professional approach of the whole company but, more importantly, the loving care and attention the live-in carers showed to my mother. In her final days, she was in and out of hospital and both live-in carers went
above and beyond to make sure even when they were not with her they showed great dedication, love and care.
They not only kept me fully informed but were a great solace to my wife and I, in what were very trying circumstances.
My mother also had her beloved black labrador at home with her and again the carers looked after him with no hesitation.
I would recommend Christies Care to anyone who wanted live-in care of the highest quality.

I care for my husband 24/7 and had a week's holiday arranged; the first in three years. Our son was due to step in for the week but got Covid.
Happily, arranged by our local surgery, Christies Care were able to arrange live-in care at a few days' notice.
I was able to avoid cancelling and enjoyed
a lovely break with my sister, knowing that my husband was being professionally cared for.

Christie’s have been absolutely brilliant at providing a series of live-in carers to my mother following an injury. Christie’s selected a carer at short notice who was fabulous. The carers have had to deal with a series of challenging circumstances - my mother getting very ill and needing hospital,
a family weekend away with us, and a scammer targeting her. On each occasion, the carers have shown empathy and the quality of their training. They have been full of good suggestions on how we can help my mother continue to live independently. I strongly recommend them.

Your carer, who is wonderful, was in place within a week. She's already been there a month and we love her.

Our carer has been an absolute star. Our mum was completely independent, and fiercely so, before catching Covid and being hospitalised for a month. So returning home, to a carer in the house 24/7, was always going to be a challenge.
But our carer immediately settled Mum, made her feel back at home
again. Mum had been super-resistant to any help previously - refusing any help with phones, meds, doctor's appointments, eye and hearing checks, etc, etc.
But our carer has been able to take complete control, being proactive in setting Mum back up on her feet, whilst giving her agency. And our carer's reports to the family have been some of the best that I have ever seen, including from my business corporate life. Five stars. Thank you.

Although relatively new to working in partnership with Christies Care the experience to date has been wholly positive. From the initial telephone enquiry, our queries have all been addressed swiftly and professionally. It was clear from the initial assessment process prior to care commencing for my
mother that they aim to provide individualised care for clients and this has proved to be the case. We were looking for a quick start to live-in care as my mother was being discharged from hospital and whilst Christies were understandably unable to provide this immediately they were very clear with expected time frame which was accurate. Since care for my mother has been in place, one month, she has received support and encouragement in her rehabilitation from her carers who have worked very collaboratively with her to meet her needs with very positive results, providing some peace of mind not just for my mother but for the family as a whole.

Christies Care have provided live-in carers for my mother from 2008 to 2022. The carers have been trained and capable and many have become good family friends. Christies administration has been excellent.
Mother lived to be 104, staying in her own home with daily outings for morning coffee and sometimes
cake.
From our personal experience, I can recommend Christies Care and take this opportunity to thank them for the love and care given to my mother.

We had to put care in place at short notice for my mother during the pandemic and Christies Care helped us with efficiency and support. We find their carers to be of a consistently high level and the team are keen to receive feedback when things don't quite 'gel' for one reason or another and take this
into account when fixing future rotas. From the top down it feels as if the team are always looking for ways to improve their service. Because of my mother's needs, she finds the changeovers difficult but we are all learning how to manage this and Christies have been happy to leave the main (and utterly exceptional) carer in situ for good periods of time to help with this. I find the carers very good at working with us and keeping us updated so that we can hopefully have a sense of mutual support. The responsibility they shoulder for their clients and their daily care with limited break times is admirable and so much appreciated. I am very happy to recommend Christies to others.

The service Christies Care have provided has been first-class in every respect. The last two years can’t have been the easiest environment in which to operate; nonetheless, Christies have provided our dear, demented, mother (93) with a succession of excellent live-in carers. Where there have been issues
- and there have been few - the company has resolved them quickly and without fuss. Critically, they have put in place a team that is well suited to our mother’s needs, which is very reassuring for our father (91) and my brothers and me.

All carers have been excellent. Only complaint is that carers change after a few weeks - not good for a dementia sufferer whose short term memory is gone. Otherwise, I can't fault the care given. We couldn't manage without it. My husband's aunt is 96, seems a lot healthier than before she had care.
The carers look after her well and go beyond the call of duty to make arrangements, such as appointments, that we would have had to deal with before. They also prepare meals, administer medication, do the shopping and washing and keep the house clean as well as providing company and mental stimulation. Many thanks to them.

The carers have all been fantastic with my parents and have coped with changes of plan at short notice because of people testing positive for Covid. Living three-hours drive away, I have not been worried about their care in the two years since we took on our first Christies Care carer. Superb!

My brother has had Christies Care carers for sixteen years after his aneurism in Spain. After a year in neuro-rehab in the UK, he moved into a flat with Christies carers providing support. He has made great progress over the years with the help of his carers, despite his short term memory problems.
They have been proactive in improving his brain function with outings, crosswords etc. They get on very well with the family and show initiative in overcoming any problems. They are reliable in taking him for medical appointments and reporting back any results. They are very professional and well trained and I would recommend them to others in need of home care.
