Complete Care have been assisting my mother with hygiene, medication and companionship for several years. I find them very competent and well trained and they have dealt with all changes to Mum's care needs from medication to anxiety and are quick to respond to changes in Mum's needs. The carers are
just that, caring and kind. They have averted several GP and pharmacy drug errors due to their attention to detail and have helped with safeguarding issues, keeping mum safe and independent in her own home.

Thank you very much for such wonderful feedback. The team enjoy supporting your mum and look forward to the visits. We have provided care and support to your mum for several years now. In that time the team have built up a good relationship which has helped us deliver the quality, person centred care needed. I can honestly say it is our pleasure, to be able to help your mum. We look forward to continuing our service and value your custom.

Complete Care is exceptional, and the carers give amazing service. They have been going to my 90-year-old mum since October 2020, and I can't praise them enough. My mum receives excellent care; they are helpful, but not intrusive, and they allow Mum to keep a little independence. We couldn't ask for
better.
Their visits also mean that I can go off to work in the morning knowing they will be visiting, and if she is not okay, they will contact me, and if necessary, arrange any medical care required.
Thank you, ladies; you are wonderful.

Complete Care replaced another care company, and I was apprehensive following my previous experience with my mothers care. It was obvious with the first visit that this was to be a much better and satisfying arrangement. The management was first class, regular contact and advice were given, quick notification
of any issues and assistance from the office when required. The carers who came in arrived like angels acted like angels and provided exceptional, loving, respectful care to my mother, myself and family members. They went above and beyond what we expected. We are truly grateful. Thank you.

Where do I start? I would have no issues with recommending Complete Care to anyone requiring care for their loved ones. The staff attending my relative have always been kind caring compassionate and very helpful, some of the staff being exceptional and outstanding and others being very good and professional.
The office staff have always been polite with the owner-manager being outstanding and extremely helpful and informative. Thank you to all the staff, keep up the fantastic hard job you are doing very much appreciated.

I was in a desperate place when I needed care for Mum. I couldn't cope with her care needs, my job and my own medical problems. If they hadn't stepped in and taken care I don't think the outcome would have been happy.
The coronavirus has added another layer to my anxiety, but they have never missed
a call. The carers are professional but friendly and above all kind. I think kindness is sometimes the best tonic.
Office staff are supportive, well organised and good at listening.
We are now entering another phase of life for Mum (93) and I don't know what will be the outcome, but I do know that Complete Care will be there for me. It's a great comfort.

My mother has now been receiving support from Complete Care for 3 years and during that time the carers have been amazing. They fully respect my mother and keep her dignity at all times. They go above and beyond the call of duty, are caring and very supportive of my mother's needs. If there are any
issues they use their initiative and deal with any problems on my behalf. On one occasion an ambulance was called by the carer who then duly stayed with her to comfort her until I arrived, again this goes above and beyond what is expected. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I would personally like to pass on my sincere thanks as well as my mother's for the care she receives daily.
The office also responds quickly and efficiently to any issues and they are always addressed in an extremely timely manner.
Well done to all.

From the first visit, the care and support dad received was exceptional. Dad loved the carers going in to make his dinner and tea and enjoyed his little chats with them. They were all friendly and caring and put him totally at ease. Nothing was too much trouble for them at all and dad still felt he
had his independence.
The calls were always at and within the allocated time.

Times for mums 15-minute visit are not adhered to or are changed without informing the service user. I will speak to management regarding my concerns and they listen and then ignore. I'm finding it increasingly pointless to bother and have asked my husband to speak with you as its distressing that due
to mums condition she is overlooked.
The staff are pleasant and competent, the management poor as they change the call times and mum is unable to remember if she has had a visit. I'm asked to use an app to access information. Mum is funding this service totally and I feel so disappointed that she is let down in this way.
The standard of care is satisfactory but not knowing when that's likely to be is not. I try to arrange appointments and entertainment for mums routine but this is constantly ignored. It cannot be value for money if stress is experienced by the service user and relative, it is exacerbating the condition for which she requires the care. ie memory loss and confusion.

Reply from sara booth at Complete Care West Yorkshire Ltd

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention regarding the 15-minute evening call for your mother. I would like to respond to each of the issues you have raised.
The care workers daily routine can be unpredictable due to people they care and support out in the community. Care workers can be faced with various situations which can affect their call times, such as someone who requires medical attention or needs additional care. We do have a 30-minute window either side of the agreed call time to give you some idea of what time to expect care workers. It is our policy that any calls outside the 30-minute window, then the office or on-call will contact the customer or family to let them know the care worker is running late.
I am sorry you feel that the office does not listen to you however, we have on several occasions been in touch with your husband who is satisfied with our response over the agreed call times.
Thank you for the positive comments regarding our team, they work hard to support your mother in the timescales given.
Care workers are instructed to continue using the handover book, which is in your mother’s home, this should help with knowing if care workers have visited or not and any concerns they have.
With regards to finances, you will have to take this up with Wakefield Council’s finance team as we have no control over what they charge for the service.
We provide two calls to your mother, one in the morning for 20 minutes and one on an evening for 15 minutes, I would hope there would be adequate time in between the two calls to allow your mother to attend appointments or activities you have organised. If this is not the case, then, by all means, give us a ring and let us know how we can resolve the issues.
We understand how stressful providing care can be for family members, especially when the person has short term memory loss. Please rest assured we want to work with you and relieve as much of the stress as possible whilst continuing to provide a quality, person-centred service to all our customers.
I hope this addresses the points raised
Kind regards
