Thank you for all that you do for us. I would be in great difficulty caring for my wife if it were not for the support and the extra efforts made by your carers. The respite mornings allow me to go shopping or to do my own things and the overnights allow me to get some sleep. A service second to none.
Well done!

My son has had Carers Trust Crossroads carers/personal assistants for about three years now, we are very happy with the service the company provides, they are always very helpful and flexible if we need to change days/hours. The carers themselves are very reliable and lovely people, my son sees them
as friends.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. We are also really pleased that your son enjoys his time with the staff and especially that he regards them as his friends! Best wishes and take care.

Excellent service. Reliable and all the carers are fantastic. I know that my mum is in safe hands. Everyone who calls takes time and treats my mum with dignity and respect. It is often hard for older people to admit they need extra help but with Carers Trust Crossroads I know that help is sensitively
delivered.

The team at Carers Trust Crossroads have been amazing with my mum, who is suffering from Alzheimer's. They are incredibly patient with her and take time to understand what matters to her and what's important for her and then work hard to meet her needs. Her face lights up every time she sees the girls,
and she can't wait to tell me about the fun they have had during their visits. From a family perspective, we have a weekly notification confirming timings of visits and the named member of staff attending. We always have continuity of care which is important to Mum. The management team regularly contact us to check that we are happy with everything and if we need any further support, an outstanding organisation!

Thank you, Samantha, for your review and kind words. I will ensure that all the staff involved with your Mum's care will be informed of your positive feedback, but I know the staff really enjoy their time with Mum as well. Best wishes and take care.

My aunt was taken Ill on Christmas Day 2021. Due to the prompt and caring nature of the care worker, my aunt received the best possible outcome. The care worker called the ambulance for my aunt and stayed with my uncle until the ambulance arrived and spoke to the emergency services, giving them all
the information they needed to assess my aunt's condition. She went above and beyond her role as a care worker that day, she was truly caring and professional.

I find all the staff at Carers Trust Crossroads to be caring, empathetic and above all professional in what is a very difficult and demanding job. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, that also includes the admin staff who I have also dealt with on many occasions.

I have nothing but praise for the excellent, professional and caring service that Carers Trust Crossroads have provided in supporting me as my mother’s live-in carer. Their sitting service has allowed me to have much-needed respite and also has greatly enriched my mother’s social life. Each carer brings
their own individual personality but still the same consistent high level of service. Well done all!

I am a full-time carer and my husband and I have been shielding since March. My husband has complex health issues, his care is very demanding and time-consuming. I have been very fortunate to have support from Crossroads. Since March a member of staff has been doing my weekly shopping. This service
has been invaluable - he is such a caring, considerate person and so professional, without this support I think I would have folded. God bless them all, thank you.

January of 2020 was the first time in 3 years that I have been able to take a holiday using a care provider full-time. I was only away for 4 days but I did have friends and family checking on mum as well. Crossroads were with mum from 9 am to 9pm on the days I was away. According to family members the
carers from Crossroads were wonderful. They were professional in their duties, very caring and compassionate. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot thank them enough and even mum commented 'what lovely girls'. This says it all really. Thank you so much Crossroads.

Thank you so much Ryan for taking your precious time by putting pen to paper. I am really pleased that you were able to take a break from your caring role and that you felt the immense benefit due to the fact that you are able to trust our reliable service and more importantly your Mum liked that all as well. Hope you can use our service more in the future Ryan.

I am a tenant in sheltered accommodation and I use the services of Crossroads every other weekend. The service provided is outstanding. It is the highlight of the week for me as they provide excellent service. They get everyone involved in a variety of different activities and have regenerated community
spirit. The staff are outstanding and hardworking and serve excellent meals.

Reply from Alison Harries, Registered Manager at Carers Trust Crossroads West Wales

Thank you so much for your comments. I will ensure that they are fed back to the staff concerned. I am exceptionally pleased that you feel we have "regenerated community spirit" as this was just as important to us when we started this service in Nant Y Glo, alongside supporting carers to have a break and/or coming along to join in the activities. Also a huge thank you to you for opening up your home to allow us to provide this valued service.

My wife, has been pleased with all the carers who have visited us. At present we have three carers who share the weekly visits and all three, are very helpful and we enjoy their company. Hopefully, they also enjoy their visits! Our noisy dog has accepted them as family members. They share their interests
and are very caring and respectful. We probably could manage without their help, but the days would be much longer and duller without their visits. Keep up the good work.

The carers who come and take care of my wife twice a week, are always polite and arrive on the time they have agreed. They take care of all my wife's needs and I could not wish for a better service than the one we are getting, the ladies who attend to my wife are first rate and for this I cannot thank
them enough, for with this knowledge I can do all my messages with peace of mind, knowing that all is well at home. Thank you all.

From the initial contact, the coordinator of the care staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The care I sought was provided and then changed as my mother's needs altered. The word service is understood.

My mother has not has a bad word about any of the staff provided and having met some of

the carers, they also come across as professionals who do actually care.

I am happy to recommend this organisation to anyone.

Carers Trust (Carmarthenshire Crossroads Care Sir Gar) have been arranging respite for me and care for my husband while I am away. Everything that is needed has been set up and at times with great consideration for myself and my husband by really going the full mile plus to ensure both of us are happy
and confident that things are under control.

I am looking forward very much to my break with my friend and have my husband's worries have been put to rest. So happy and relieved to have such caring and competent people at hand when needed.

I receive daily help which enables me to have a respite. Usually, it allows me to lay on my bed and go to sleep for an hour or so. During this time my wife is spoon fed, which is time consuming. The same helpers attend on a rota basis and save me from having to repeat my routine to each member of
staff. Without this help, I would not be able to look after my wife of 63 years. Cross Roads staff are a caring group of people and their service is much appreciated.

The service we receive from Crossroads is superb.
The staff are always pleasant and take time to converse with my husband who has Vascular Dementia and is not easy to understand.
The staff will make sure that he has food and drink as and when he asks for it.
They are also happy with my 2 small
dogs and cat!
I am relaxed and confident when I go out that my husband is receiving good care.
