Despite his failing health, dad is adamant that he wants to remain in his own home. We had carers visiting four times a day, but when this was no longer enough, we started looking for a live-in carer. We were immediately reassured when we spoke to Featherbed. Dad was highly resistant to the idea at
first, but the carer that was matched for him put him at ease almost straight away.
It's still relatively early days, but the improvement in dad's health and mood is amazing! He now has freshly prepared meals instead of ready meals, and feels much safer around the house knowing there's someone else around. We live 200 miles away, so it's been difficult for everyone but we do have regular contact with the carer, which is reassuring, and updates from Featherbed. As I said, it's still early days, but so far we're very happy with their service.

My mother is 96 and has Alzheimer's. By early 2023 she had been living independently in an 'assisted living' apartment for 9 years. This was only possible with my daily support but eventually I could no long sustain the level of care she needed. After looking at many options care/nursing homes a friend
recommended Featherbeds for live-in care. After a few conversations and an assessment we had our first carer, who had been with us for 6 months. We ultimately felt the cover wasn't the best fit for mum so Featherbeds replaced. Our current carer has been with us for over a year. Featherbeds are on the phone for any queries and provide cover for any breaks. I have recommended Featherbeds to many friends. Very happy with their services.

I can not thank Featherbed enough for their service. They have provided quality carers for my dear mum for many years. Featherbed are always on hand to help, are very understanding and have never let us down. I would never change, the faith and trust I have in them has been so well earned. Thank you
Featherbed for not just providing exceptional carers, but also 1 very special carer who has become an additional family member. Thank you.

My parents have used Featherbed for the past 6 months. They have been easy to communicate with and set everything up very quickly when we needed them. I cannot praise the carers enough, they are taking very good care of my parents and the day to day living at home. I don't know what we would do without
them. My parents enjoy their company, it's not easy letting a stranger into your home but they have all settled in well.

My mum is bed bound at home and has combined dementia, and the end of life care she has received is amazing. I didn't know that a live-in carer was possible, but after a recommendation, I was pleasantly surprised at the cost, and the care which my mum has on a 1:1 basis is, I believe, better than she
could have anywhere else. Mum is treated with dignity and respect always, and all the staff at the agency have been fantastic to deal with, and we have complete trust in them.

The level of care provided by the carer from Featherbed over the last year, and indeed longer, has been superb. She went above and beyond what was expected and was not only professional at all times but caring, humorous and adaptable in all situations. This gave us confidence in the care as we are not
local to the client, being an hour's drive away. Rest assured we would have no concerns about recommending Featherbed to anyone.

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Featherbed Care is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6
