Cannot fault the care team involved in my father's care. They are professional, trustworthy, and so very caring. They treat my father with the utmost respect, compassion, and always place his dignity as their main priority. It's so comforting to know that my father is safe and completely taken care
of. An outstanding team.

We are very happy with Mum's care. The girls are all very good with Mum and treat her with kindness. It is reassuring to us that we know she is being well looked after when we are not home. We couldn't cope without Angels Healthcare.

I had a lovely young lady visit my mom last week and she went above and beyond for her even with the smallest tasks, my mom felt so comfortable as she hasn't had carers for very long so was very unsettled for a while, this young lady has left her with so much confidence in carers especially at a young
age she was very professional and sympathetic and had great intelligence and advice as to what would be best for my mom.
Brilliant company and brilliant carers.

The carers are good and provide good care and conversations, but the management is non-caring and non-cooperative. They don't like to discuss queries. They have no commitment to well-being, sympathy, empathy, compassion, understanding, or communication skills, and do not seem to understand two-way conversations
to resolve queries/issues you may have.

Reply from Jill Church, Owner at Angels Healthcare Birmingham

In over 20 years of business, we have only given notice to 3 clients. We never take such a decision lightly nor without prior discussions with the client.
Unfortunately despite this, we as a company have made the decision to cancel your care with 4 weeks' notice which gives you the time to find an alternative agency which you haven’t used previously.

My Mum has had excellent care. Whenever I have had reason to contact Angels Healthcare they have always been helpful and dealt with any problems or queries straight away. I always do the teatime call and do my Mum a cooked dinner and on the very rare occasion when I haven't been able to do it, but can
do lunch instead, they have been happy to do a soup, which is good to know that I can.

The company was at one time one of the best around. But lately not so much. Carers not turning up for wake-up calls. Yet nothing ever seems to change. This has happened on a number of occasions.

The Angels cared for my mother-in-law for a year before she died at home and provided excellent support for my father-in-law during this time. After her death, when my father-in-law's health began to deteriorate, we had no hesitation in asking for their help once again. As individuals and a team, they
are caring, compassionate and very professional. They not only fulfil their routine duties excellently but are also flexible, responding to changing needs or challenging circumstances as they happen. As a family living at a distance, we particularly value, in agreement with my father-in-law, their communications with us, their quickness to alert us to any concerns or developments which enables us to respond in a timely manner ourselves. We could not be more grateful or appreciative of their support.

Angels Healthcare helped to look after my mother last year when she was sent out of hospital at end of life. The care that my mother received from Angels was just brilliant, they supported us all as a family, not just my mother. The carers are very passionate and dedicated to their job. We could not
have asked for better.

Angels Healthcare are a professional, caring health care provider who have been attending to my son's needs for a number of years. First-class staff who are thoughtful and caring. They have always been obliging even in emergencies outside of specific call times. The staff who attend my son are always
pleasant and brighten up his day. The same carers are allocated to my son so that it becomes a more personal service rather than just a job. A rapport is built up between client and staff which makes the client more at ease about having to have care staff call. My son and I are so grateful for not only the care that they offer but for the mental health side of things. It can be pretty lonely on your own all day and the staff at Angels certainly keep him in good spirits! All in all an all-round professional, caring company providing an excellent service!

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.417 for Angels Healthcare Birmingham is calculated as follows: ( (28 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (2 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 48 Ratings = 4.417
