Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.515) out of 10 for Guild Care Home Care Service is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.615 for Guild Care Home Care Service is calculated as follows: ( (33 Excellents x 5) + (18 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 52 Ratings = 4.615

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Guild Care Home Care Service is based on 9 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.9

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Head of Home Care

I’m a passionate leader in the domiciliary care sector, with over 20 years of experience in Health and Social Care. After moving from Wales in 2017, I was incredibly fortunate to find this wonderful charity and become part of its journey. My heart lies in supporting people to live independently in their own homes, and I’ve had the privilege of holding the position of Registered Manager for three years before progressing to Head of Home Care. We take great pride in providing an outstanding service, always going the extra mile to support those in our care. With a deep understanding of CQC standards, I’m immensely proud to lead such an experienced and dedicated team, who share my commitment to making a difference every day.

Job Title: Home Care Manager

I have been a dedicated member of Guild Care since 2017, embracing various roles that have allowed me to grow and excel within the organisation. My journey began as a Home Help, where I discovered my passion for hands-on care. This led me to transition into Home Care, where I could further support our clients in a more direct capacity. Over the years, I have served as a Care Coordinator and Care Needs Coordinator within our care homes, eventually taking on the role of Service Manager at our supported living establishment.

In February 2024, I returned to Home Care, where my true passion lies. I am committed to ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of support, always striving to meet their unique needs with compassion and professionalism. My dedication to doing what is right for those we support drives me to continually enhance our services and uphold the standards that Guild Care is known for.
