Home Instead (Northwich & Knutsford)

I had the pleasure of joining Home Instead Northwich & Knutsford in January 2021. I made the decision to join Home Instead after seeing first-hand through a close family member the difference they make in supporting people to remain safe and well in their own homes.

My career prior to joining was in the furniture retail industry where I held positions in area management and head of retail roles. I love working with people, so the combination of providing an excellent quality of care for the local community and being able to employ a fantastic team of local Care Professionals was the perfect match for me.

I live locally with my wife and three daughters. In my spare time I enjoy walking in the countryside and following motorcycle racing.

Through leading the team at Home Instead, I am determined to continue providing the best possible, personalised care to help people remain independent in their own homes across Northwich, Knutsford and surrounding areas.

After 20 years of working in care, with varying roles, I am delighted to have joined the Home Instead team to support the local community remain independent at home.

My name is Michelle Lawson and I have been at Home Instead since 2011. I started as a Care Professional and progressed to where I am now as Registered Care Manager.

Part of my duties is to complete consultations, service reviews and quality assurance. Having worked in the care sector for 18 years for Care homes and local authorities, I bring to Home Instead a broad range of experience and knowledge.

I am passionate about my work at Home Instead and want to help people remain as independent as possible within their own homes and ‘Change the Face of Ageing’

I live locally with my 2 children and I enjoy spending my spare time with family and friends. I am also an animal lover so enjoy long walks with my dog and keeping fit.

My name is Amanda, and after spending 20 years in Childcare and spending 10 years caring for elderly grandparents, I decided to bite the bullet and become a Care Professional for Home Instead, I can honestly say it was the best decision I've ever made!

Being a Care Professional is so rewarding and in the time I have been with Home Instead I have progressed to Senior Care Professional and then onto Trainer.

I am married with 3 children and enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends

My name is Demi and I joined Home Instead as a Care Coordinator in June 2022. I have come from a care home setting where I have specialised in Palliative, Dementia, and residential care for around 9 years now.

As a care co-Ordinator for Home Instead, my primary role is to advocate for our clients to make sure they get high-quality care and get to remain living in their homes. I complete consultations, service reviews and quality assurance visits to ensure our clients are happy with the care they receive. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help clients and their families in our local community to get the support they need.

I live locally with my husband and Son, and I love nothing more than quality time with my family. I am an Aquarius so of course, I love water, and I enjoy indoor/wild swimming. I spend a lot of my spare time outdoors and like to go hiking and on road trips around Scotland.

I joined Home Instead in 2024 after working in care since 2017. I really enjoy working in such a fulfilling sector and look forward to supporting our clients to continue living safely and well in their own homes.

I joined Home Instead in 2024 to support the finance and administration across the business. I am also here to answer any questions and support our clients and their families, which I really enjoy.
