This agency is appropriate to its name - kind and caring. When my mother was at her most vulnerable, they stepped in, listened to needs and tried to help in every way. Subsequently, my mother was happier in her outlook and sociability and I knew she was safer as a consequence. Obviously, there were
a few hiccups but feel that would be the same in any 'people' service. Many thanks to Kind Hands, staff and carers.

Asking for help when caring for a loved one is always difficult. Kind Hands made the process very easy and helped me overcome the thoughts that I was "failing".
Kind Hands were flexible when altering visits due to illness/hospital visits etc and even got the bill right with correct adjustments. The
carers were kind and provided dad with some laughs during their visits.

It has been a learning curve with dementia and my Mum, but I do feel for dementia patients extra training, particularly for younger members of staff, would be beneficial. However, I would like to thank all the ladies that helped with my Mum. They were kind, considerate to her needs and all in a professional
manner. Thank you.

Very pleased with all ladies that come into see and help mum.
When mum has the same ladies coming in it really does make a difference, she's at ease and happier. Does her confidence a lot of good, she loves chatting to them.

From the start of using this service, I have found them helpful and caring in every way. At the onset, the 'need' was not a very pleasant one, but as time progressed, the help has continued in a very friendly and caring way. Always cheerful, ready for a chat (very necessary) and willing to do anything
required. Fully recommended.

The carers from Kind Hands Caring Services Ltd go above and beyond in their duties. Many of the carers took the time to chat to mum and listen to her concerns, they have always encouraged mum to do as much as she can by herself. They gave her confidence following a number of falls allowing her to stay
at home for as long as she could. Having the carers assist mum was peace of mind for the family knowing someone would be seeing her on a regular basis throughout the day. The ladies in the office have also been really helpful, always giving advice to mum or myself if we need guidance. It takes a special person to be a carer, someone who is able to listen and above all else be so kind something that costs nothing but meant a lot to my mum. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs carers.

Thankyou so much for your kind review. It was a pleasure to have cared for your mum and whilst we all miss her we hope she will be very happy in her new home and I know some of the girls will still pop in and see mum when time allows.

I needed a care package urgently so my mum could be discharged from hospital. Despite lack of available "slots" they stepped in and looked after Mum until we got longer-term care in place - all were lovely, professional and kind to mum and after being very reluctant to have carers come in, Mum looked
forward to their visits.

I have always had the same two Carers twice a week since I first came to Kind Hands, which I am more than satisfied with for the different jobs each Carer does (shopping and cleaning).
Value for money = could offer more service for turning mattresses, cleaning ovens and use of a ladder.

Reply from anne armstrong at Kind Hands Caring Services Ltd

Thank you for your kind review, our carers work very hard and it's nice to hear you are happy. I will contact you with the query on turning mattresses etc. and see if we can help you.

In general, I am very satisfied with the service which I get from Kind Hands.

I feel that I should also note that on two fairly recent occasions I found a need for some care which was not part of my care package and in both cases the Kind Hands office staff were able to satisfy my urgent needs with

very little problem. This sort of service is worthy of special mention!

I used Kind Hands Caring Services Ltd from September 2017 to January 2018, due to back problems. On the whole, all the carers were good, possibly with one exception. The only weakness was in not having a definite list of the times of calls, especially in the morning.
