Kivernell Care Ltd is a private homecare company that was set up in 1996 and cares for people in their own homes, covering the Lymington, New Milton, Hordle, Highcliffe and Waterside areas.

Kivernell Care Ltd provides a professional, flexible and tailored quality homecare service to enable elderly and disabled adults to live a fuller life in the community. The company cares for older people, young adults, and people with physical disabilities, sensory impairment and dementia. They also care for adults recovering from illness or injury and provide palliative care, working in partnership with healthcare professionals.

Highly recommend Kivernell. The carers they provide are first class and treat the clients with dignity and ensure that they receive the best possible care and support. The management team are extremely helpful and supportive.

I have used Kivernell for about 9 years and they have always been excellent.
I have never had a carer not turn up around the time that is stated on the weekly call lists I get sent unless there is a good reason.
On the very rare occasion a carer is unable to get to me on time, I get a call or email
to say the carer may be late, or a different carer will be coming which may or may not change the call time.
The carers I have often go beyond what is on the care plan (which is regularly reviewed), so for me Kivernell is second to none.

Nicola

Nicola Harris

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2007

Nicola is our CQC registered care manager and is responsible for the well-being of our customers and staff team.


She joined us as a care assistant in 2007 and joined the office team in 2017, where she worked as Coordinator and Deputy Manager before accepting her current role as Registered Manager in September 2023. Nicola has considerable experience in the health and social care sector and gained a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.


Nicola is known for her approachable nature and hands-on approach to supporting the team.


Outside of work Nicola is a keen equestrian and has a love of all nature.


Ashleigh

Ashleigh Light

Job Title: Care Coordinator

Joined: 2017

Ashleigh joined Kivernell Care in 2017 as a Care Coordinator. She works hard to organise the care team whilst considering the changing needs of our clients.


Ashleigh has a background in the Health and Social Care sector and has completed her Qualification Level 3 in Health and Social Care.


Ashleigh is family-oriented, an animal lover and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Out of work, Ashleigh enjoys sleeping!!!

Julie has been with Kivernell since 2005. She has a long background in health and social care and has completed her Qualification Level 3 in Health and Social Care.


She is often the first member of the team that clients meet, as she meets them to complete their initial assessments.

Samantha Hansford

Sam joined Kivernell in 2023. She has a background in Health and Social Care and has completed her Qualification Level 3 in Health and Social Care.


This is her first office-based role. Sam sorts out any daily changes and assists with taking any concerns that carers report.


Out of work, Sam enjoys spending time with friends and family and walking her dog.

Carol Light

Job Title: Operations Manager

Joined: 2009

Carol joined Kivernell Care as a care coordinator in 2009.


She progressed to Registered Manager before stepping down from the role in 2023. She now oversees the business to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.


Carol gained a Qualification Level 3 Health and Social Care and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.


Out of work, Carol enjoys spending time with her family. She is also very talented at crochet.


Michelle

Michelle Forrest

Job Title: Care Assistant

Joined: 2000

Michelle joined Kivernell in 2000, making her our current longest-serving carer. She has gained her Level 2 in Health and Social Care.


Michelle has a love of butterflies and is very artistic. She also enjoys a sing-a-long whilst doing her care visits.


Valerie

Valerie Cochart

Job Title: Care assistant

Joined: 2001

Val joined Kivernell in 2001, another very long-serving carer! She has a wealth of experience and always goes the extra mile. She is a great support to the clients she visits and her colleagues.


Val has gained her level 3 in Health and Social Care.


Val is a very proud grandmother to her grandson.

Linda Hall

Job Title: Care assistant

Joined: 2022

Linda joined Kivernell Care in 2022 and soon became an invaluable member of the care team.


She has completed the Care Certificate.


When she’s not working Linda enjoys going to the gym and live music.


Corina

Corina Storey

Joined: 2018

Corina joined Kivernell Care in 2018. She builds an excellent rapport with the people she visits and is a really valued member of the care team.


Corina is currently studying for her Diploma Level 3 in Adult Care.


When she isn't working Corina is a busy Mum and enjoys spending time with her family, dog walks and holidays.
