Carer always arrived on time and very friendly and chatty. Telephone calls to office with requested changes always dealt with professionally and to my satisfaction.

Has been a bit up and down to start with, not knowing who is coming and when but things are improving now. The supervisor is very reliable and efficient.

I have been using Nightingales Homecare for nearly 5 years and although several carers, all have shown care, compassion, and support. We have been through some emergencies, sometimes unpleasant, but they are always at the end of the phone and respond quickly. I have made some good friends. Keep up the
good work.

On the whole, the carers are friendly and kind, fairly efficient and mostly nice and chatty and some I look forward to seeing. Travelling time needs to be allowed between clients for carers to be able to be on time. I find changes in carers and new staff difficult as they are not used to the house and
routine. It makes me nervous about safe, experienced handling care, especially at bathtime.

Nightingales have been so supportive to me when I needed to have extra help to care for my mother. The carers are experienced, kind and friendly and are really lovely with my 93-year-old mum.

We found Nightingale Homecare to be a very good care organisation. The initial response and assessment was very well managed with respect and empathy. The carer who looked after our mum was also very professional and did a very good job. I would strongly recommend Nightingale to others.

Nightingales were recommended to us after Mum broke her hip and became housebound. The whole team were supportive to us as a family as well as my Mum. I work full time and the Nightingales Team were my eyes and ears during the day. They would call doctors and health care professionals when necessary
which gave me peace of mind. Mum looked forward to their visits. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Each of the Nightingale Homecare (Bromley & Reigate) carers who come into see Mum were lovely. They were never in a rush, they spent quality time with mum and seemed to understand how to relate to her to make her feel loved, cared for and supported. They were very reliable, would tell us if they would
be late and settled mum into a very good routine which ensured that her last few weeks were ones of happiness and contentment. We feel very indebted to the Nightingale team.

Overall a good experience. There were some initial difficulties in not being able to find our house but this settled now. We both felt that the number of different people especially during the day was more than we expected. Some of the staff my wife established a very happy rapport with and that was
nice to see.

Carers were very kind, efficient and supportive. Always punctual and ensured my mother was comfortable at all stages.
I was always contacted if a carer had any concerns about my mother's welfare.

This service allowed my mother to continue to live at home longer and gave us the reassurance that someone was seeing her daily and that she was being fed. We valued the folder with the daily comments left by the various carers, as it meant that we were in touch with changes that might be happening.
We have already recommended this service to friends and they too are impressed by the assurance it provides.

Up until the end of September 2018, my mother received excellent one-to-one care in our home. Nightingales stepped in to help with the care of her here in the mornings, to wash and dress her and see she had her breakfast. All the girls who came were smartly dressed in uniform, were always punctual and
respectful. Their medical knowledge and caring attitude was much appreciated by myself and my mother. I can only say thank you.

Overall my mother received an excellent service from Nightingale Homecare (Bromley & Reigate). I liked the fact that my mum had a main carer for morning care and a main carer for evening care. This meant that a relationship built up over time and both these carers knew my mother very well and were able
to spot when things were wrong (such as a urine infection). The carers were very kind, skilled, thoughtful and very supportive. They also would chat with me which was good for my wellbeing.

I have been extremely lucky to have had a very experienced carer call almost daily for the last four years. During this period, my health has seriously deteriorated as has my mobility, but she has supported and guided me through these problems using her expertise and wide knowledge of many methods of
help! I have often asked her not to assist with tasks in the house and garden that I can no longer manage. She has been positive at all times and I shall miss her greatly when she moves shortly to a promotional position.

My father has Parkinsons and dementia. The carers at Nightingale were overall extremely considerate and respectful. They took the utmost care of his needs and kept me, as next of kin, informed of my father's requirements. I would highly recommend Nightingales and am so grateful for all that they have
done for my father.

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.891 for Nightingales HomeCare is calculated as follows: ( (315 Excellents x 5) + (30 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 349 Ratings = 4.891
