Thank you for your review. All our carers are trained to administer routine medications. We also provide specialist training to staff who care for clients requiring complex clinical interventions such as RIG, PEG and tracheostomy care. We ensure that suitably trained staff are available to cover our client’s contracted hours. When a client requires additional hours, often at short notice, their usual team members may not be able to attend. We will then discuss with the client the skills of the staff available and work together to find a way to cover the additional hours if at all possible.
