I live over three hour's drive from my parent’s home in Salisbury, which makes the management and supervision of their respective care extremely difficult. My parents continue to live in their own home and up until 24 months ago, were completely independent and self-supporting. However, the gradual
decline in their respective health has meant that they now require a more professional approach with a higher level of care assistance. As a result of this, I contacted various Health and Care companies in the Salisbury area and provided them all with a detailed requirement of what was needed in support of my aged parent’s care needs. Of all those contacted, Totally Living Care were the most proactive to the situation and quickly assimilated and assessed what was required and came up with a workable program of care and assistance. TLC are a truly professional organisation with a well-trained and dedicated Care Staff. Many have several years of experience.

Up till last August, TLC were providing at-home care for my mother 2-3 times a day. They were always reliable, friendly and professional. I was contacted promptly whenever anything happened or they had any concerns. Some of the carers definitely put themselves out to help and support my mother and I.
On one occasion, a carer stayed with my mum into the evening until I could get there. The care coordinator and the office staff were also always very friendly and helpful. I really had no complaints at all.

In April, a particular incident occurred that really brought it home how good the TLC carers are. My mother had a fall in the bathroom (it transpired that she had a heart attack). The carer found her and called an ambulance. In turn, the care coordinator phoned me to let me know and I arranged for my
sister to go to my mother. The carer stayed with Mum the whole of the time until my sister arrived. She was calming and reassuring to Mum. My family and I find all the TLC carers to always be very kind and helpful to Mum. Sometimes she can be very awkward and I hate to say it, rude to the lovely girls too. The staff in the office are always chasing Mum's medication and 9 times out of 10 bring it round to her flat. The care coordinator is always on the ball, knowing exactly what is happening with the clients and we are extremely grateful to have such a caring and obliging person in control of Mum's care. All the staff team are fabulous. We do not know what we would do without them.

We found TLC online when looking for care for our mother, following her stroke. We reviewed other care companies too but TLC appeared to offer more flexibility and were very cost-effective. I think one of the most important things to say is that the team are extremely approachable. There has been an
occasion recently where I needed to ask them for some additional help at very short notice. The care coordinator made this happen! I cannot fault TLC at all. They are friendly, reliable, flexible and professional. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

I mostly find the staff friendly and cooperative. They are willing to assist me in cases like getting in and out of the shower.

This was our first experience of home care. During the time they provided us with assistance, we always found the staff to be professional, courteous, kind and caring. They were punctual and if the time of the visit had to be altered, office staff telephoned in time to make the necessary change. It
was, however, quite a shock when we received their letter, advising they could no longer provide us with their services.

Satisfactory. I enjoy living here as kind carers look after me. I have found most carers that have helped me have been very kind and caring towards me. They are very patient with me as I cannot hurry now and always ask me if I need more help with anything before they leave. The office staff are good
and obliging. Very nice flats here. I am very content with my living accommodation, comfortable, radiators good and surfaces clean. We have to take care of using the entrance to the main door, a bit rough in places. I have no complaints regarding my situation, I like where I am and they are all nice people.

My mother was struggling at home with domestic duties and eventually personal care. I contacted lots of firms for help, some replied they had no vacancies, others just failed to reply. I walked down Fisherton Street and through the office door (before Covid). I was greeted with friendly courtesy and
within days someone had come to assess my mother. They totally "got her!" My mother had once a day care, at first 5 days a week, then 7 for an hour late morning. We both benefited, her kitchen was left clean and tidy, her bathroom cleaned, she was prompted to perform activities she was capable of. My mother has been untidy all her life and the carers coped admirably. They were kind, didn't take any nonsense and she became very fond of them. They also alerted the GP if she was poorly. They coped during Covid, with PPE and her isolation. They came for two years. Sadly my mother needed 24 hour nursing care and has just gone to a nursing home.

Thank you for your review. I am glad that we could help you and your mother in this important time of her life. It's good to hear that our great carers get this feedback from clients and their relatives. We do try our best to improve our services, but we feel very proud of this input. Kind regards, Andy Rogers, Director.

I have been satisfied with the care being given to me. The carers that have attended to me have been kind and considerate of my present needs. Sometimes, because of sickness there has been a change to my time or carer, but someone will always come. I have found the office staff to be very helpful when
making enquiries or making my payments.

From the start, the experience of Totally Living Care has been extremely good. The initial assessment was thoughtful, kind and professional. As a family, we praise the carers that come and look after our father's needs. In fact, it is second to none. On the occasions that I have contacted the office
team, I have met only helpful and professional staff. I recommend this company.

Totally Living Care provided care for my 90-year old mother on both 24-hour and timed daily visit basis for approximately the year leading up to December 2021. The care was all that my mother needed: kind, efficient, friendly and thoughtful. The whole TLC team are to be congratulated on their professionalism
and ability to respond at short notice to new and unexpected requirements - when my mother needed 24-hour care for a short period following a TIA episode, for example. Mum felt she knew all her carers personally and developed good relationships with them during her time as a TLC client. Thank you to TLC for your considerable contribution to guaranteeing that Mum's last months were passed in as dignified, safe and comfortable a manner as possible.

Totally Living Care are providing excellent and caring service to my parents. The office is always quick and responsive and willing to resolve issues and help in any way. There have been issues concerning the responsibility for equipment and prescriptions, but they are communicating well with community
care and looking for a solution.

We have been extremely happy with the service from Total Living Care. The standard of care from all the 15 or so carers we see have been very good, all done with a most understanding attitude. We are happy too, with the whole ethos of the company, from the top down.

Used service for three months with visits twice a day. Carers were all friendly and worked very well with my husband, always polite and respecting his dignity and wishes. They always checked that I was ok as well. They helped us through what was a difficult time.

Given lockdown, I have not been able to visit, TLC has stepped and done everything a caring relative would do and have kept me informed. A fantastic service. One particular gentleman deserves note.

TLC provided up to four carers a day to feed and assist my aged stepmother, who was immobile and incontinent. They also provided immediate links with medical services and county occupational therapy services and Mediequip, and thus willingly shouldered this burden on my behalf as her nearest relative
and Power of Attorney. This was for about 18-months up to my stepmother's death in August 2020. Every member of the TLC team that I happened to meet when I visited the flat were very engaged in their work and gave the impression that they really enjoyed helping my mother. Over the last 2-3 years, we had the experience of three carer agencies, and TLC's combination of professionalism, care and reliability, shown by all that I met at TLC including the managers, was by far the best.
