My Social Care journey began in December 2016. Having the responsibility of all the employees and service users is a privilege and I aim to, along with our very capable team, keep improving our service whilst being innovative. I want Spire Homecare to not only be the best company to work for, but for Spire Homecare to change the way people think of the Social Care industry.

Attended Bishop Wordsworth Grammar School then studied at Southampton University and qualified as a chartered accountant. I worked as finance director for a large national company for 20 years before setting up my own successful three-partner accountancy practice in Salisbury, retiring as senior partner in 2019 to focus solely on Spire Homecare. At Spire Homecare part of our business and financial philosophy is to look after our carers and office staff. We strive through them to provide the best trained, best paid, best-prepared carers to look after our service users. This is easily the most enjoyable and satisfying role in my 40-year career.

Attended Salisbury Girls School and then FE College before commencing my RGN training at Salisbury Infirmary. After Qualifying in the 80s I worked as a senior nurse on a demanding high-dependency ward. Later I worked at a large care home as deputy matron and staff trainer. Now wholly focused on Spire Homecare and our ethos of exceptional high standards especially for staff training and development.

I have a passion for looking after people. I strive to provide the best quality care to the elderly and vulnerable residents in our community. I am professional and hardworking whilst having a good sense of humour. I love being part of my team and working closely with my clients and professional agencies.

I am the Operations Manager for Spire Homecare, I oversee and optimise the day-to-day processes and activities to ensure efficiency and productivity with the end goal of ensuring customer satisfaction. I have worked across different civil service roles as a Police Officer and in the Prison Service managing behaviour rehabilitation.

I am the Training Coordinator of Spire Homecare. I have experience in social care in the UK and have had the privilege to lead a team of over 40 trainers across the country. I am passionate about teaching motivated people to enable them to increase their own potential. I have worked in the Mental Health/Social Care industry for over 35 years.

Since joining the company, Nicky has moved up the ranks from Care Assistant to Senior Carer, where her skills are used to support the Care Department in completing care assessments, reviews and risk assessments. Nicky has a habit of helping everyone who asks, including our hard-working community of carers.

Lisa has been with Spire Homecare since 2007. As a senior carer, Lisa is a champion of our carer's wellness and effectiveness in the community. As a member of the team, Lisa brings with her a passion for providing high-quality care - and is often personally requested for visits.

I have been in social care for more than 10 years, previously as a Team Leader before starting work with Spire Homecare in 2024. I have a passion for helping people in their homes and providing high-quality care and support for both our service users and our amazing workforce.

Kelly is joining the team at the end of November as PA to the Managing Director and Registered Manager, and also the company's Administrator.
