The care provided all depends on the carer as it can differ from the best care you could possibly want or the minimum in and out as quickly as possible, some are compassionate as were others aren't. Also at times the seems to be a lack of communication as to what is required to be done by the care.r

I've been with Spire since March 2023 and have been very happy with the service you provide the carers are helpful and understanding of my needs. Had a fall in April of this year and spent 3 weeks in the hospital without any exercises has left me unable to walk but I'm getting my strength back with
the help of my physio. I am walking but with her behind me for safety. I also feel safe knowing my carers will be coming 3 times a day to help me and get to know them and have a lot of respect and appreciation for them all.

I've only had another care provider previously, I thought they were fine. But once my care was swapped over to Spire I couldn't believe how different they are.
The care and understanding your female staff give is wonderful.

Always been flexible and helpful and gone out of their way for me, cannot fault Spire for how they have helped me have more independence and be able to stay in my own home instead of residential care. Very happy.

All the carers that have come to me have been splendid! Pleasant and very helpful. They empty two pots each day and put bagged rubbish in the correct bins. They also make the bed and do any dishes that need washing.

My husband has needed Spire Health Care for many months and the service has been excellent. A few minor issues have been dealt with to our satisfaction. The carers themselves are wonderful, they carry out the tasks with empathy, compassion, cheerfulness and kindness in what isn't an easy job. They deserve
to be paid much more if only our Government would sort it out! Nothing is too much trouble for them and we would recommend this company.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.419) out of 10 for Spire Homecare Salisbury is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.519 for Spire Homecare Salisbury is calculated as follows: ( (30 Excellents x 5) + (19 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 52 Ratings = 4.519

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Spire Homecare Salisbury is based on 9 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.9

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
