The Caring Company provides a home care service that supports people living in the Didcot area of Oxfordshire, promoting independence and to assisting them to remain living in their own homes.

They offer a range of flexible services that can be personalised to each client's needs, either on a long or short-term basis.

The Company recognises that often care needs are identified by relatives, so works with everyone involved to ensure an acceptable care plan is established and successfully implemented, ensuring the individual's needs are recognised and allowing for a safe level of independence as required.

  • £22.00 per hour Mon- Fri, £23 an hour on Saturdays and £24 on Sundays

  • Details of fees can be sent on request. We have separate charges for 30 minutes and 45 minute visits. Plus slight increase at weekends and Bank Holidays.

On the whole the service provided has been extremely good. Always very easy to communicate with and very easy to contact when needing to talk with them. Very responsive to my mother's needs and overall very happy with the care and support they are providing for my mother

The Caring Company have been caring for my husband. In this time the number of visits each day has increased. Each visit has been a joy. The staff have been kind, friendly, consistent and reliable. They are efficient and tidy. I do recommend them to anyone who is looking for a group of people who live
up to the name of the company. It is now over 6 months that they have been visiting.

This company is amazing.
My dad is a very difficult person who tries to reject help/support although he desperately needs it to live independently. The owners are calm, professional and support to me and my father. The care staff are without exception diligent, professional, understanding and supportive.
The communication is excellent, every call/email is responded to. I cannot fault them.

The service that my wife receives is excellent, the carers are all understanding and patient with her problems, she can have a good laugh. They can really cheer her up, and I can phone up and speak to staff if I have a problem and they help me so well.

We first started using The Caring Company in Didcot after Mum needed help with Dad, about 8 years ago. As many people do, Mum trawled through many companies' reviews to find the best. I am so happy to leave this review, as we still continue to use them for Mum now following the passing of Dad. The most
comforting thing for me (Daughter) is the reliability of this company and their carers. They cover shifts in advance, and last minute, and I have complete peace of mind, knowing they will be there. Their carers are friendly, caring, efficient, and nothing is too much trouble. Records are updated regularly, and communication with me is super efficient. I never need to worry now. Highly recommended for anyone looking for care for elderly parents.

The Caring Company staff have basically saved my sanity. Always professional and helpful, they helped care for both my parents with dementia and other illnesses until Dad died and then continued to provide support and care for Mum. Our most regular carers have almost become part of the family and have
shown a mix of professional standards, practicality, good humour and compassion that has helped in a very difficult situation.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care given to me during this last year. The care I've had is flexible and how I need it - which can vary considerably. It is always met with understanding and cheerfulness - and above all professional skill. I am fortunate that I am able (at the moment) to live an
independent life - but it is a reassurance to know that I can call on The Caring Company, an agency I can trust.

We have been using The Caring Company since 2021 when my partner became immobile and I was unable to care for him. The staff are always pleasant and give my partner dignity while performing personal care. In May this year, I became ill and my partner was moved to our local care home. I still have them
come to me to help with heavy-duty cleaning, and one member of staff takes my partner out one hour a week. I have no problems with The Caring Company.

I have used this company for the past 9 months. They come in for about an hour each week so I can have a bath and they can assist me should I need it. They have done this with great care and dignity. Should I need some cleaning done or assistance with for example, a covid test all I have had to do is
ask. Everyone is very friendly and professional. I live alone and now can enjoy baths again without the fear of falling and getting trapped. The household tasks they do have saved me many hours. I think they are very good value for money, and I certainly recommend them.

Mum has been receiving care from this company for many years now. I am a registered nurse so have very high standards. I cannot fault the care given to my Mum. She is cared for as an individual and all the carers show her respect as well as genuine dignified care. All of her carers have got to know
her very well and I feel totally reassured that they will inform me if they have any concerns. They are all very patient and kind. I continuously see evidence that Mum is receiving excellent holistic care. The management team are very knowledgeable and know all of their patients and their families. I know we are very lucky to have such a professional caring company available to give the care my Mum deserves.

Good efficient service on a consistent basis. Carers look after my mum really well. It is a very personal service. Carers are friendly and treat my mum as a human being. They are very adaptable and have found practical solutions to my mum's needs which have enabled her to remain at home, which is what

Every carer who has been here to assist Mum has been professional in their approach. Any time there have been alterations to her care or their rotas we have tackled it between us to both of our satisfaction. They treat mum as you would wish your mother to be treated.
I can't say better than that. I
have full faith in their care and have had a few laughs along the way with them.

The Caring Company have been providing care visits to Mum for a year now. Mum has no memory, but since the visits started, she has been much happier in the morning. Without the visits, Mum would sit all day in her pyjamas and lack any motivation.

All the staff are competent, caring and conscientious. They treat me with dignity and as a person rather than just a client. They also appreciate that this is my home. We are given a helpful rota every week which is followed punctually. With notice, this can be adjusted to suit specific requirements.
There are also six monthly reviews.

All staff at The Caring Company are pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Our requests are altered times of visits are always considered and are provided. It is good for me to know that Mum is seeing a human being twice a day. If I have any queries or concerns there is always someone I can phone or email
to discuss the situation.

The Caring Company has always been an excellent care provider for my father. Their flexibility and responsiveness when my dad's needs increased for a while post a hospital stay was truly incredible as the release date changed on a number of occasions. The carers are always prepared to go the extra mile
in looking after Dad and they very much have become part of his social life. I also feel confident that he is in good hands when we are away on holiday with the extra support they provide.
