The service that my mother has received from Home Instead has been faultless and carried out to the highest standard with all the care and attention that you want for a much loved parent.
My Mum loved the ladies that looked after her, they were so kind, considerate completely reliable and looked forward
to seeing them.
Everyone I have been in contact with at Home Instead have been totally supportive and understanding of the challenges that life can bring. I thoroughly recommend them. Thank you so much.

The carers who help my dad look after my mum (who is in the late stages of dementia) are truly wonderful, they are so caring and patient with both my parents. They help dad with getting samples from mum required by the GP, and ease his stress. I cannot praise this service highly enough. Thank you for
all you do it is really appreciated.

My mother-in-law has been using Home instead for many years now and we have found them to be helpful, kind and extremely flexible to our mother's needs. We have had many difficult moments over the years and the caters have always gone the extra mile to help our mother and make sure she is safe and comfortable.
We live many miles away so we rely on the carers a great deal. We would never use anyone else and nor would our mother as she sees the carers not just as her help but as her friends. Thank you, Home Instead I don't know what we would do without you.

Myself and husband are very pleased with the service Home Instead provides for my mother-in-law the ladies that come to the house are always on time and do what is asked of them, and the office staff are always willing to listen to any concerns we may have. Would recommend this company.

My parents were very apprehensive having someone coming into their home as they have been so independent but after a few weeks they have enjoyed the company and support given by their two carers and it has helped them and the extended family immensely and allowed them to stay in their own home. Nothing
is ever a problem and they treat my parents with respect and so much kindness. All the staff have been amazing and excellent at communicating. If you are thinking of care for your loved one give the team a call you won’t look back. Wish we had reached out sooner.

Home Instead have come in to help my mother and father. My mother has Dementia and spends most of the day sleeping, it's my father whose health I could see imploding trying to do everything himself and eventually, he agreed to 'people' coming in.
Home Instead carers aren't just people, within a few
days they had understood the delicacy of the situation and tend to my mother with real care and dignity, meanwhile, they have earned my fathers's trust and without a fuss have made a huge difference to their lives and mine.
In the most difficult of situations and as a daughter, worrying about the one who is ill and the one who is caring for her 24/7 Home Instead has really made a difference to us all.

My mother has been cared for by Home Instead for almost 8 months. We have found the Carers to be kind and professional in looking after Mum's needs. They have a good rapport with Mum who was not used to having too many visitors in the past.
Home Instead can change hours and frequency of visits when
required and always introduce new carers.

Home Instead have been a lifesaver to my mum and our family. Mum's dementia has been a challenge to manage for us as she has lived on her own since the loss of my father. Home Instead came out to meet Mum and I initially to discuss her care needs. We went through a trial and ended up employing their
services. The beauty of Home Instead is that Mum is able to stay at her own home while being cared for there. The carers are amazing. They communicate really well with Mum and are so patient with her. Home Instead are very quick to call if the carers notice a difference in mum's health or welfare. We have increased the care recently and this is also proving to be advantageous. I would absolutely recommend the services Home Instead provide to others.

Although initially reluctant to employ Home Instead. I reluctantly agreed to this to provide peace of mind to my family whilst they are at work. After a few weeks, however, I got used to the care team and was glad of the company for an hour a day Monday to Friday. It is good to have company each day
even though I don't always find tasks for them. All the staff are friendly including the office staff. At present I do not require additional services but maybe in the future.

The care provided for my father was exceptional. All carers were very kind and helpful.
They built up a great relationship with my dad, even though he never said much!
The little touches like picking flowers from the garden and putting in a vase, leaving notes for me if anything was needed.
I especially
liked how I could log on each day to see what had happened as I work full time and visited at the weekends.

I found the carers I had were very gentle, helpful and friendly. In the mornings, they helped me undress, shower, get dressed, prepared my breakfast and did minor housework chores, eg tidied and cleaning up my kitchen after I had my breakfast, hoovered my hall, landing and bedroom, and opened the blinds.
In the evening, they helped me get undressed and get ready for bed (I didn’t go to bed until later after they went) and always made me a cup of tea and always cleared up afterwards. Plus closed the blinds for the evening.

My mum was well matched with care professionals. After being quite anxious about having strangers come in, she now looks forward to their visits. both are friendly and put Mum at ease. She is especially pleased with the way they leave her kitchen so tidy and clean! Also doing every day jobs without
being asked, i.e cleaning the bathroom, making beds.

The Caregivers at Home Instead Senior Care (Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster) continue to support my mum in a thoughtful and proactive way that doesn't just enable her to carry on living at home, it allows her to thrive there. A very happy by-product of their help is to give my dad the confidence
and reassurance that he needs so he can contribute to maintaining a life at home too. An outstanding aspect of their service is the efficient dialogue they have kept up with me, keeping me informed of issues arising and also responding swiftly to my requests for specific tasks or interventions. The Caregivers' reliability has been first class and I'm really delighted with how the carers have built rapport and formed such compassionate yet professional relationships with my parents. In this current Covid pandemic crisis the care-team have been the sole human link for my parents for which the whole family will be eternally grateful.

The client is so happy having the company and the reassurance that someone is always there on time and they have got to know the ladies, so it doesn't feel like a stranger is coming

My sister quickly became accustomed to the routine of her daily visit, and the attention of her carers has become invaluable. Nothing is too much trouble, and the structure of her care, from domestic, to food shopping and taking her medication, is very reassuring.

Mum has Dementia and has been having carers coming in now since December, she really enjoys their visits and has helped us enormously on the days we are not able to see Mum! Always able to contact staff at Home Instead, all are friendly and helpful, our main contact being one person, who has always
been friendly, efficient and contactable! As mum deteriorates she will need more care, I feel confident Home Instead will be able to help us with this!
