As a home care provider, it is just as important for us to know that family members are experiencing benefits from our service as our clients, we hope that, at the very least, we can offer you some peace of mind.
Thank you again!

Thank you for your review and kind words about our service. It is always wonderful to hear from clients and their families when we get it right. However, we do not (and won't) rest on our laurels and always welcome feedback so that our clients receive the very best service we can provide.

Thank you for such a wonderful review. Your experience as a family member is exactly as we would wish it to be and I hope that we've been able to give you that most elusive of things - peace of mind. This is a journey for which there is no handbook or guide as each individual's needs are different. We stand ready - indeed alongside you as you describe -to support you and your father. Thank you!

Thank you for leaving a review of our service. It is disappointing that you rated our staff and the care they provided excellent but our service overall significantly below this. We are unable to control when a team member leaves for personal reasons and we are unable to share these with clients/family members to maintain confidentiality. Our staff turnover is actually well below the sector average but I recognise that where a Caregiver leaving impacts you or your loved one, statistics are meaningless. Throughout your 9 month experience with us - we maintained excellent continuity of care to your mother delivered through only 3 caregivers. I have spoken to the team and I acknowledge that the communication with you could have been better. We will learn lessons from this. There are times when communication should be prompt, personal and voice to voice. This did not happen soon enough on this occasion and for that, I apologise.

Thank you for taking the time to review our service and the positive comments you've given about our Caregivers and the service we offer. Peace of mind for the circle of influence around a client is one of our principal objectives. We always encourage families to reschedule visits rather than cancel them where there is a conflict. Working together we can retain our staff and maintain our continuity of care which is fundamental to building strong, enduring relationships between client and Caregiver. Once again, thank you for your review!

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.211) out of 10 for Home Instead (Oxford) is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 4.611 for Home Instead (Oxford) is calculated as follows: ( (23 Excellents x 5) + (12 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 4.611
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Home Instead (Oxford) is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
