Mum has had Bluebird Care for a few years now. She is very happy with their care. She has built up good relationships with her main carers. They chat with her and enable her to stay in her own home with much-reduced mobility. The office is easy to contact and quickly acts if there are any issues including
contacting doctors to get medication to her. Even collecting it themselves sometimes.

We have used Bluebird Care for a good number of years and the team at Three Rivers & Watford has been nothing but brilliant. We have had increasing care put in as my mother-in-law has dementia and lives with us. Not only are they always helping to find solutions to our needs but they always check that
the right type of carer is assigned to us.
With dementia that means the same ones to keep it familiar to her. The ladies at Bluebird are professional, friendly and reliable. Everything you need in a good provider of home care. We have only recently moved my mother-in-law into a care home but still the ladies visit her. This is above and beyond and says how wonderful they all are.

Quite punctual, arriving on time. Most of the carers take time to chat to Mum and carry out all their duties well. They let me know usually if they're worried about Mum i.e if she's not herself or ill.
There were a couple of little concerns when they started but management sorted them out very quickly.

We have used many care companies over the years and yes it's only been a week but the communications, the care and support have been just amazing. I was very nervous about my aunt being home again after a long stay in a care home but they made everything so much less stressful and kept me up to date
on everything. Would highly recommend.

Bluebird Care has given my mother kind, compassionate and effective care services. They stepped in at short notice and were flexible in rearranging visits as needed. An efficient service, from care planning to carrying out personal care and admin generally. This efficiency in administration comes along
with high standards and a professional approach to delivering care. The most important aspects of this quality service are the kindness and friendly approach of all carers and staff at Bluebird. I always felt that my mother was being cared for by wonderful people who respected her, were keen to meet her needs and who went the extra mile to make sure that she was cared for extremely well. My mother always mentions how lovely the carers are and how helpful they have been to her. Thank you to all concerned and I have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird to anyone who needs kind and caring support services.

Bluebird has been helping my parents for nearly 10-years. Throughout that time, they have been simply perfect. They are thoughtful and respectful and help with absolutely everything from applying for funds to being a calm presence when things are hard. They keep the house immaculate and do their level
best to encourage old, obstinate people to eat.
From regular visits to perfect live-in care, Bluebird Care has been the solid rock that has kept the family going. Whether face to face or in person, nothing will stop them from giving the best care in the most respectful manner. On many occasions, the Bluebird Care Watford and Three Rivers team have gone above and beyond what is expected of them.
I would recommend Bluebird without hesitation.

Our dad was looked after by Bluebird carers for over 2 years as his care needs increased. His Bluebird carers made life so much easier and more enjoyable for him and meant he could stay at home as long as possible. They were kind, thoughtful and cheerful. He would look forward to their visits and his
chats with them kept his mind active. They not only cared for all his needs but became welcome visitors and friends. We are very happy to recommend the carers and Bluebird.

As a first time user of a service like this, and needing to start using the service during a difficult time for my family - not to mention during a global pandemic - I can't thank the manager and her team enough for the care and compassion they have shown us. From the initial advice to setting up the
companion care service to advising on things like applying for a disabled parking badge (received in record time thanks to the advice on how best to complete the application form), the help was friendly, practical and extremely empathetic. The carers were, without exception: friendly, proactive, supportive, accommodating - and very professional. Many thanks to the entire team. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bluebird Care Watford &Three Rivers.

Having had a week's care recently while my daughter was away on holiday and because I live on my own, I found the carer who came each day of that week was very pleasant and nice to chat to. We did not do any work but she made me coffee and it made a pleasant change during the morning. I have no complaints
and enjoyed the experience.

Job Title: Registered Care Manager

I started working for Bluebird Care in 2013 as a care worker with no experience. Previous to this I was working in bars and cafés as a bar attender / kitchen assistant. My mother suffered with M.S and had carers visiting most of her adult life, right up until she passed away at a young age of 48, I felt care was a great industry for me to get involved in and wanted to be able to make a difference.

As soon as I started as a care worker, I felt the values of Bluebird Care were very close to my heart. Roughly a year later I had completed my level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care and was promoted to Care Supervisor. I really enjoyed being support for the team and our service users. I was in this role for around 5 years, after completing my level 3 in Health and Social Care, I was then promoted to Care Coordinator. Coordinating care is not an easy task but I feel the team responded well to me and saw me as a role model within the company.

Since May 2023 I have been Care Manager for both teams (Watford & Three Rivers and Chiltern & Dacorum) – receiving my registration in October 2023. I am currently completing my level 5 in leadership and management. I very much enjoy my role and challenges that come with it. I am always looking for ways to expand my professional development.

In my own time I enjoy reading a good thriller / mystery book and spending time with my family and friends.

My job role is varied at Bluebird Care and I have transferred my skills into this fulfilling role, I have a good telephone manor, am kind and considerate and a great problem solver. I have great organisational, and prioritisation skills and work well under pressure.

Bluebird Care is a great company to work for as they really do look after our customer’s every whim and our carers too. Everyone who works for the company have the customer’s best interests at heart and I am very proud to be a part of such a positive team.
