Even though my mum only used Home Instead for less than four months, I can't say enough how pleased I was with the service. Having gone through two other totally unsuitable care companies, we settled on Home Instead because of their companionship as well as the care. After the toll that Covid took on
the elderly, it was so great to know that Mum's carers really took the time to get to know her and us. It was really pleasing to see her come out of her shell a bit more. We won't hesitate to use Home Instead again when Mum is able to return home and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We have used your care system for a year now and have greatly appreciated the difference it has made to us. Care is for my husband in the form of companionship and has proved very beneficial. My husband enjoys the company and chats with different carers and as his wife, I enjoy the little bit of freedom
which it gives me twice a week. I return refreshed and know that my husband has been in safe hands and enjoyed their company. What a difference it has made to both of us.

The help was designed to meet my individual needs. Help was cheerfully given and quickly modified if or when adjustment was necessary. The service was reliable. It was easy to contact head office if you needed to.

Home Instead have been providing invaluable support for Dad since Mum's passing 2 years ago. He enjoys his visits and it's peace of mind he is in safe hands. Each team member is professional, caring and have great communication.
If you are looking for a care agency, Home Instead comes highly recommended.

The office staff are unfailingly helpful. The carers are excellent. I regard each one as a friend and enjoy their company as well as the care they give. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them.

My father was looked after in a professional manner and the carers were very gentle with dad. They always introduced themselves and told him what they were going to do. My dad was receiving end of life care and Home Instead were very supportive of me and always did their best to support us at this very
difficult time.

We cannot rate the care standard and professional admin highly enough! Everyone who visited my father was friendly and professional. The term carer is generic but everyone always cared for how dad was, how he was feeling and how they could help.
On the rare occasion that anyone was late, we received
a call from the office.
Any changes to the schedule were always sent in advance.
The service is exactly what you want as a relative. Excellent communication and tremendous carers.
If you need a care agency, then Home Instead must be the first choice.

All aspects of the service from Home Instead suited my short-term needs following a fall. Fracturing my wrist, with my arm in plaster, I found tasks eg hosiery and showering difficult. Being in my late 80's and living on my own, having been self-caring after the fall, I lost a lot of confidence. Here
Home Instead helped for two months with the above needs (personal care) and so restored my ability and confidence to resume my lifestyle working up to a good recovery with a healed wrist.

My regular carer arrives on time, swales down surfaces before assisting with personal care. This I do appreciate. She helps me in the garden if the weather is dry and hot to keep my plant pots alive. This I cannot do myself any longer. She helps in the kitchen with breakfast and pair lunch preparations.
Again jobs I can no longer do myself.

The team of caregivers put together for my mother were excellent. They were all practical, professional but also fun and able to make Mum smile and have a laugh. Not all personalities suited but the ability to change individuals to arrive at the best team was made without difficulty and the support
in those arrangements from the senior caregiver and her support to the family was such a comfort and carried out with great professionalism. A huge weight was lifted as soon as Home Instead was involved.

Home Instead has provided carers to support my mother in continuing to live at home for about five years. During this time and any difficulties were always worked out. For several years now the service they provide has been excellent. My mother has a dedicated team of carer who work closely in harmony
with her. Their practical skills, in the context of washing, changing and moving my bedbound mother are excellent, but most exceptional is the love and genuine caring of her through conversation, respect and empathy which makes a significate difference to her wellbeing as someone bedbound with Dementia.

The management team and the standard of the caregiver team provided to my mother over the last few years has been outstanding. They provide an excellent, professional service and are reliable, friendly, helpful and have always been very kind to my mother. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough.
With
my mother now requiring constant care, we shall be very sad to move on and will miss the Home Instead team greatly.
