Not nice when the carer dropped him. Don't like them using their phones while they are supposed to look after my husband and not staying their time i.e. only staying 10 minutes when they have half an hour here. On the whole, they are very good carers.

I feel that the service has deteriorated over the last two months due to staff shortages. Some of the staff are very good (95%) but there has been one or two who have been quite poor.

Very helpful, kind and considerate, always come on the time allotted and do everything asked of them. A good thing is that it's usually the same person coming every time (barring rest days) so the routine is very reassuring.

The carers are helpful and polite and do a good job with cleaning. The carers get me up on a morning and give me my tablets and make me a drink. They are always helpful and are kind. They are always helpful and polite on the phone.

Generally, the experience is good. Clearly, on restricted time limitations, total care can be difficult. The regular carers are caring and considerate and are able to manage most requirements. However, problems do occur when it is necessary to have "stand in" carers who are not familiar with my Stepmother's
requirements.
To this end I have provided a list of duties in the care book and sent a copy to Caremark to assist in these circumstances. All are common sense items that are required for her wellbeing. I have regular communication with the supervisor and see many of the carers who I find are very accommodating. Staff are good to excellent.

Caremark stepped in to support us all and provide quality care at home for my father, 91 and mother, 95. Without their support the future would be a care home, what we like is the client comes first and the commitment is 100%.

The care my mum received is excellent, she is treated with dignity at all times. The carers are chatty and have time to chat to mum about her day etc. They see to her rubbish and put it in bins, something she cannot do. I live away so having them in gives peace of mind for me.

All of the young ladies who looked after my husband were very pleasant and they always cheered him up, as well as doing their duties, which was a bonus, as we was tied to his room. Some days two of his carers took him out for half an hour with his walker, on wheels, which he enjoyed very much.

Myself and brother and in-laws found the supervisor very explanatory and sociable and left no stone unturned. Overall we all found her very efficient at her job. We also find the carers very reassuring and informative when leaving notes on my mums well being.

I would like to say that my carer today was excellent, she helped with shopping, helped pack her bags and carry all the shopping into JT house. She is a delightful carer who went beyond what is expected. Sh is a credit to Caremark.
