I've always found the care givers to be well matched to my aunties personality and as a result she develops a great friendship with them. Communication with management and office staff is very easy and response is fast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Mum and Dad have been cared for now for over 10 months. They have come to rely on the carer who visits every weekday morning and helps them start the day. While her primary responsibility is Dad, helping him through a period of illness with the morning routine, she has also been very kind with Mum giving
much-needed companionship and offering practical help with tasks too much for her limited mobility. We have been so lucky to find a professional and dedicated carer and this one is now firmly in place as a trusted friend. Her daily reports as to their welfare are ever so reassuring and inform the frequency of my visits and tasks. Thank you to the carer.

I was looking for a befriending service for my Mum and just needed 4 x 1h slots a week. When I placed the initial request I had a call back within an hour, a meeting set up for the following week and care starting almost immediately. I have been extremely impressed with the level of organisation in
the office.
My mum has Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's so is unable to give me exact details of the visits but appears to be very happy with them. I am very relieved to have an extra visit for her 4 times a week (alongside her care package organised by social services) to ensure she remains active, stimulated, well cared for and can remain in her own home.

Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with Home Instead as your feedback is invaluable to us. We are delighted to hear that Mum is happy and enjoys her visits with her Care Professional and she is able to remain in her own home.

My aunt, who is 100 plus years of age, had to go into respite care after a fall in her bungalow.
Despite being of sound mind and very independent, she agreed that she needed a care package in place before she returned home. Following a number of phone calls to various care agencies we were very impressed
with the response we had from ‘Home Instead’. I was particularly impressed that they visited us both in the care home and included her in the assessment of her needs. They also visited us on the day she returned to her home to do a risk assessment and introduce her to one of the carers.

I found the staff at the office very easy to deal with. The manager was very knowledgeable and during the initial meeting was very helpful in translating our concerns into the practical care that we were looking for. My aunt enjoyed the visits and found the service very helpful. We wanted help with
meal prep and a bit of social contact for my aunt who lives alone. The carer was able to chat to her and prepare lunch in her 1-hour slot. She also left some prepared food for the evening and lunch the following day, so we knew that my aunt was covered for that time. I particularly found it helpful that the carer would upload a report of the visit to the portal that I could read, given we do not live nearby, so I could address any small issues if they came up. If it were not for the fact that my aunt is moving nearer to us, we would be continuing quite happily with Home Instead. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to others.

My mum is very happy with the once-a-week visit for 2 hours. Mum has been receiving care for 2 1/2 years. Initially, the visit was to take Mum grocery shopping to get her out once a week. But as things have progressed the visit is now used to do housework, receive groceries and companionship. Mum likes
the different carers, they are friendly and helpful.

We have been using Home Instead for a few months now and their service, standard of care and the friendliness of the carers and administrative staff have been excellent on all levels.
In particular they have been able to sometimes meet our needs at short notice and have been very supportive during
difficult times and situations which can arise at times.

My mother is very happy with the lady who comes to keep her company twice a week in the evenings. We are now extending this to three times a week for two hours at a time. The lady is polite, interested in what my mother's been doing that day, etc., and always makes sure that my mother has tea, biscuits,
cake etc. before she leaves.

It is only two weeks since my sister-in-law started receiving care from Home Instead but she seems happy with the care she is receiving and we receive good communication from the carers when matters arise. As we don't live locally to our relative receiving the care we are dependent on what she can remember
about her care which sounds good. Anything we have asked for to be included in her care appears to be carried out and the company's ability to take my sister-in-law to appointments is extremely helpful.

Very good service. I am happy with the companionship my mum is getting, it is making a positive difference to her. The caregiver is great and her and Mum are getting on very well. They laugh a lot and Mum can talk about her memories from a long time ago. Mum’s cognitive decline is slowly becoming more
apparent but she is happy!

I cannot fault Home Instead, they are great. The staff I see are amazing. They are extremely hard-working, helpful, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. There is excellent continuity of care. If I have a problem for example if I need to change my hours on a particular day, I can contact the office
and speak to someone who deals with it promptly. I have been with other care companies previously, but never have I had such great continuity, approachable staff and diligent care as I get from Home Instead now.

Home Instead replied to my husband's query for in-home care very promptly. Within less than a week my mother-in-law had the required care in situ. We now have a small team of carers looking after my mother-in-law three times a day, seven days a week, and she is extremely happy and comfortable with the
care she is receiving. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have found such a professional, efficient and caring in-home care provider.

My father has been a client for just under a year, I cannot thank enough the carers and all support and office staff for their care, support and compassion looking after Dad. Any changes or extra assistance required was always dealt with efficiently and professionally, we recently needed to alter certain
arrangements over the Christmas period which contact was easily available and changes were made with no fuss at all. Dad's condition has changed, which now requires admittance to a care home. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who finds themselves in need of care.

Your staff are loving and caring, you can sense that for them this is a labour of love. No request is too much, and the skill with which carers are paired with the client is nothing short of amazing.
