Since the death of her husband 4 years ago my 96year old aunt has received outstanding care from Home Instead. Every visit was a joy for her and the kindness of all the caregivers enriched her life. She loved having the twice-daily visits and never stopped singing their praises.
Recently, my aunt fell
out of bed and was on the floor when her caregiver arrived at 9.15. Home Instead worked tirelessly to find staff to stay with my aunt for the whole day and most of the night until a paramedic arrived at 3.00 am.
Throughout the time my aunt received support from Home instead the communication with my sister and me, her next of kin, was excellent. As we both live some distance away - it was very important that we were able to trust the staff to let us know of any concerns they had. Thank you to you all.

Thanks for your lovely words Joanna, it really was an absolute pleasure to look after your aunt.

Home Instead have been first class in helping my father to continue at home, rather than living in a care home.
Father has complex needs requiring several visits each day. The Home Instead staff are courteous and professional, sometimes in difficult situations.
We could not have asked for anything
more. Thank you to the entire team.

Home Instead made it possible for my mum to return home after a long hospital stay. My mum has always been very independent but realised she needed care and support to live safely at home. Her caregivers are genuinely caring ladies who go above and beyond and are always respectful of my mum and her
home. Now that her health has deteriorated the caregivers remain sensitive and are instrumental in my mum being able to remain at home. The activity log completed after each visit gives a clear account of how my mum has been.
The caregivers are polite and friendly, so are the office staff who also provide a first-class service and are always prompt to respond to any request. Out of hours service is the same.

Brilliant company. I was nervous at first to start using a care company due to my mother’s dementia and how she would cope getting to know so many people during the week. But I can honestly say that Home Instead made me feel at ease straight away. They are on hand whenever you need them, via phone,
social media or email and they respond within the same day.
The caring standard is exceptional and Mum has come on leaps and bounds with her confidence and her speech which has really made a difference.
Thank you SO much.

Very personal and thoughtful care experience for my mother. Always on time, chatty and friendly, my mum now thinks of at least one of her carers as a friend. It is really great for me that I don’t have to worry about calling on her each morning, knowing that someone is with her when she gets up and
has a good start to her day.

Home Instead provided carer's every morning to help my mum get dressed and have breakfast.
They were reliable, friendly and caring and made my sisters and I feel that Mum was safe in their hands.
The office staff were always available to answer any questions we had, and the invoices were clear and
timely.

My parents have always been quite set in their minds that they did not want to have home care however as Mum's health has deteriorated and with only myself (their daughter) to rely on Dad finally realised that we needed some support going forward for them to be comfortable at home. From the first contact,
I must say Home Instead has been brilliant. The process to put a care plan in place, the risk assessment visit, the following implementation of the plan, communication and level of care given has been outstanding. It has only been a few weeks but the support and care have already made a world of difference not only to Mum and Dad but also to myself as I was struggling and worried about not being able to give them the support they needed. The caregivers have been excellent and go above and beyond my expectations and even just a few weeks into the plan, we would be lost without them. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone considering home care services.

First impressions do go a long way. Home Instead has provided an excellent standard from the first assessment through to providing an excellent carer. The standard of care is wonderful. The carer which we have been given for our first week of care genuinely is interested in what she is doing and goes
the extra mile during each visit. Highly recommend.

My dad has been with Home Instead for 2 years and absolutely loves them coming in. They really do go above and beyond for him, helping him with online shopping and cooking extra meals for the days they don't come in as well as cleaning and laundry.
I live far away and it puts my mind at rest knowing
he is so well looked after, especially during Covid times when I was unable to visit him. Thank you so much Home Instead.

My mum has only two visits a week at present but she looks forward to the girls visiting and she likes everyone that they have sent so far. They are generally bubbly and chatty which is what mum likes and needs. We have been using them for about 2 years and I have recommended them to my friends who
have elderly parents.

I live in America and my brother in London, so on my last visit in early 2019, we contacted Home Instead to care for our now 90-year-old Mum which ended up being so fortunate with how the last 2 years turned out with Covid-19. They have been amazing, it is such a relief knowing they will show up every
day and spend quality time with Mum, checking on her every need with such patience and understanding. They are a phone call or email away with an extremely prompt response time. We recently had a review of Mum’s capabilities and have decided Home Instead will now prepare her meals. Again, another seamless transition allowing Mum to stay in her home. The careers who visit Mum are so lovely, they go above and beyond, it’s so nice to see Mum engaging and having a giggle. We could not be happier with Mum’s care. Home Instead is very professional and their client’s well being is definitely their priority. I highly recommend Home Instead if you are considering care for a loved one.

I am extremely grateful to Home Instead for providing such an exemplary service over several years for my 96-year-old mum who has vascular dementia. As both my brother and I live abroad, this care has been even more crucial with the recent pandemic preventing us from travelling and the introduction
of the client portal has been a valuable tool to monitor Mum and the care that she receives. The consistency of Mum's carers has been amazing and she has formed strong relationships with them, they have been so perfectly matched to her personality and needs. The carers go above and beyond what is expected and nothing is too much trouble to ensure Mum's happiness and comfort, this has enabled her to continue an active and independent life in her own home environment. I highly recommend Home Instead.

I cannot praise the care received from Home Instead highly enough. We were lucky that Mum's carer started just before the pandemic, I do not know how we would have managed otherwise. Mum's carer is kind, thoughtful, has built a wonderful relationship with us both and helped an elderly lady cope with
her grief after losing her husband of over 50 years. Fabulous care, support and service.

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
