Home Instead have cared for my mum for around 8 years. Their service is exemplary, the carers are thoughtful, caring and hardworking, and some have become good friends to my Mum. Home Instead's charges are expensive compared to other care providers, but for my Mum this is worth it to know she will be
getting such a good service.

My father is visited on an hourly basis twice a week by caring and diligent ladies provided by this company. Any task asked of them is carried out willing and with the utmost respect to my father. I highly recommend this company due to their reliability and their rate of communication with myself about
any changes to his carers is first class which in itself leads to confidence in their ability to take care of dad.

Since contacting Home Instead last year they have been fantastic, efficiently sorting out care providers quickly for my mum, matching the care providers with my mum so that they have mutual interests and being flexible when we have needed to swap days or cover appointments. The standard of the care
providers is above and beyond and my mum's lockdown periods have been dramatically improved by their care and support. Thank you.

Home Instead are so helpful and kind, I need help with things around the house and putting washing on the line. I look forward to them coming. I have recommended their care to others, but some cannot afford it. They are lucky to have family around to help. My daughter is good, she is not always available.

I live a long way away from my father who is 91 years old and I wanted to arrange some backup care as I am not able to visit more than once a week. Home Instead provides a very reliable service and even though he currently only has one two hour visit a week it does give me peace of mind that he is
being checked on during the week.

My father says the caregiver is very friendly and happy to do any little odd jobs for him like going to the local shop to pick up a few things. Very happy with the service and would recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care in their own home.

Home Instead Swansea have proved to be a reliable care provider for my mother. The most important thing is that we've been able to find carers that suit my mum and those carers have stayed with her over time. This is the most important thing from all points of view. The carers have been attentive and
kind and we've never had any issues with the standard of service.

My dad has two hours a week company and support from a carer from Home Instead. According to my mother, he is most accepting of her and looks forward to time in her company. I met her only briefly, but she seems charming and compassionate as well as patient. The two hours gives my mother a little reprieve
from the stress of 24/7 care of a husband with dementia. Thank you, Home Instead.

My mum requires care due to early-onset dementia. My mum feels happy and secure with her carer, looking forward to her visits. I don't have to worry when her carer is there. I work full time and live over an hour away. Her carer is amazing, reassuring her anxieties and nothing is too much trouble.

My parents are 95 and 91 and life has become so much easier since I started using Home Instead to help my parents. They both look forward to the staff member's visits and she has always been very helpful and professional. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone who needs help in the home with elderly
parents.

Home Instead have been providing care for my mum on 3 days a week since 2018. We had heard of the good reputation of the work that they do, because a friend of mine's father had been helped by them for many years until he went into a care home. Home Instead came into our lives just after my mum had
been very ill with Shingles.
I live on the other side of the country, and as mum started to recover, I felt very uncomfortable about leaving her to go back to work. It quickly became apparent that Home Instead were extremely good at what they do.
My mum is a very sociable person, and all the carers who come from Home Instead are lovely with her and really satisfy her need for company, as well as helping her in practical ways too. This has been particularly important during the pandemic, when visitors to the house have not been allowed. Mum feels that she would never have got by had Home Instead not been there for her. As a family, we are delighted with the work they do.

Home Instead have been caring for my parents for approximately 5-years; firstly for my mum, who had vascular dementia and who sadly died 2 years ago, and now for my dad, who has mobility problems. Both the carers and the office staff have always been professional, patient and very caring in their relationship
with my parents, me and my brother. We live quite a distance away from my dad, and access to the online portal is a vital link for us as Dad doesn’t always tell us about any problems or what sort of a day he has had. The office staff always ring us if they have any concerns about Dad, and we feel confident that Dad is getting the best care possible. We would definitely recommend Home Instead!

Very happy with the service Home Instead have provided to my mother-in-law. We only have a couple of hours a week but it is enough to ensure my mother-in-law is well and looking after, service gives her somebody to talk to and break up her day and provide help with washing.

At 96 my father needed that extra care whilst keeping his dignity. I live four hours away so difficult to pop in daily. So Home Instead ticked all boxes and have adapted to changing circumstance quickly for my dad. Nothing is too much trouble from personal care, making lunches to taking my dad for his
Covid jab. I have found office staff and care staff extremely professional, friendly and dedicated. It means my dad can live in his home surrounded by his memories and I know Home Instead will be there if I need them.

Home Instead has been providing the highest standard of care for my elderly mother for a number of years. It provides twenty-four-hour care when my husband and I have to go away. The carers treat my mother with dignity, love and kindness. They are always punctual and totally professional. The administrative
staff are also extremely helpful.

Home Instead has provided outstanding care for my father. The whole process of getting the care plan set up was responsive, thorough and completely professional. The selection of his carers is the really big plus of this company. They have taken such trouble to match my dad to his care team in terms
of interests and skills. We interviewed a number of other providers and this feature stood out from the start. Dad is still extremely independent but has come to really, really enjoy his weekday visits. As I live three hours away, knowing he is in safe hands, with such a lovely and professional team looking out for him, is wonderful. I would strongly recommend Home Instead. They are totally reliable and excellent in every way.

I cannot recommend Home Instead enough. My parent's regular carer is so caring and perfect at looking after their needs. We were anxious that when she was on holiday, my parents would struggle to adjust to new faces - I had no need to worry, Home Instead chooses such fantastic caregivers that they have
all been wonderful!

I am very pleased with all the staff at Home Instead (Swansea). The carer who started coming to me in April 2020 is very pleasant, caring and carries out several jobs in my home. She is a great deal of help to me. With this Covid-19 pandemic, she has become a lovely friend. We are looking forward to
when we can venture out in the car again to some nice places.

We had an urgent need to provide our Dad with more support but in such a way as to maintain his independence. Home Instead (Swansea) made a great match with a carer to visit him and she has helped with everything from settling into his new home, to sorting out his wifi and television issues. She has
unobtrusively checked he is eating properly, supported him with cleaning, laundry and is now a trusted friend, meaning that when he needs additional support it will be readily available. I would like to thank the Home Instead (Swansea) office team and his particular carer for all they have done and are doing. I have no hesitation in recommending to others.

First-class service at all times! Going from two visits a week to help my parents with household tasks, to an urgent need to increase visits to help with all care following a sudden deterioration in their health, Home Instead Swansea have provided quick and efficient support.
The carers have been
amazing throughout, especially following Mum's discharge from hospital with a positive Covid result and further self-isolation because of potential contact, they have continued to attend and care for my parents without issue.
It is a very difficult change for independent people to accept that they need help and all the carers who have attended my parents have been sensitive to this and have been instrumental in a smoother transition for them. Everyone that I have spoken to has been extremely helpful and supportive, the care is second to none. I would recommend Home Instead Swansea to anyone who is looking for additional help for themselves or family members to remain in their own home.
