Belong at Home Wigan is an affordable, high-quality home care service where staff cater to your needs rather than asking you to fit around theirs.
This service is part of the Belong at Home group, rated in the Top 20 home care providers nationally.

They aim to match customers to the most appropriate staff, and customers can feel confident that their team are fully trained and qualified Belong colleagues, recruited in line with their values and supported by in-house, specialist trainers to ensure the highest levels of professionalism and person-centred customer care.

Dad’s mobility has deteriorated in the past few weeks, along with his dementia.
He is repeating himself more but the carers who come to him have been kind and patient, talking to him and answering the same questions he repeats throughout their visit.
If they are worried about him they contact the
family straightaway with their concerns.
They all go above and beyond to care for Dad, enabling him (as he wishes) to stay in his own home.
I can not thank them and praise them enough.

Mum moved to the Belong at Home Village in October 2022, after living abroad for 30 years. The Belong at Home Team has been amazing, every step of the way, and although it has taken time, with their help and support she is settling well into her new home.
Although Mum has a mixed dementia diagnosis,
the team visit her twice a day, which means that she is still fairly independent. Mum really looks forward to the visits and as well as domestic and personal hygiene help, and meal preparation she also gets lots of social benefits especially in the evenings when she feels lonely. The girls are kind and very caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are always available to discuss our concerns with Mum's condition/situation.
For us the secure online portal is the icing on the cake - we get twice-daily updates on how Mum is doing, which is great, especially if they have noticed she needs something or they have concerns.
I would 100% recommend the Belong at Home team, they really are invaluable to us.

Care has been provided to my dad on an ad-hoc basis when we have been away. The team have worked with me to best meet Dad's needs and always found a solution to keep my dad safe, which included oversight of medication.
Even when circumstances changed at extremely short notice, the team were very flexible
and added to the daily visits to check on my dad.
All the staff were very caring and treated my dad with dignity and respect.
I would definitely recommend their services.

Belong at Home provided an excellent service to our dad. They never let us down, we always knew who was coming to support dad and when. Dad used to say if he was feeling down their visits used to cheer him up. We would like to thank each and every one of the team who supported dad for being so kind

All the staff from Belong at Home Wigan are absolutely brilliant! I don't know what Mum would do without their visits. Mum enjoys them coming and nothing is too much trouble. All the staff from the carers who actually attend to the office staff are first class and very professional. My brother and
I have peace of mind knowing that Mum is being looked after. Our Mum is a very sociable person who has many friends but due to Coronavirus had been unable to go out so these visits have been a lifeline and having contact with someone has helped her mental health immensely. She loves telling them tales of her life and showing them photographs which they always show an interest in and it makes her day. We would have no hesitation in recommending Belong at Home, Wigan.

I have been so pleased with the excellent care my mum has received from the carers at Belong. They are fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble. Mum has related really well to them, they are so kind and caring. I am really sorry to have to end with them, but we now feel it necessary to place mum in a
care home for 24-hour care.

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Belong at Home Wigan is based on 8 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.8

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
